Unfortunately, this girl isn't staying up for the rest of the naked conversation ... I guess it will just have to make good reading tomorrow ;)

Goodnight ladies!

Night!! Sleep tight!! Don't let the bed bugs bite!!

Well, I'll gladly pay you a Thin Mints tomorrow for a Samoas today...

I don't have either of those left to get rid of for my troop. Just Shortbreads

Although here the Samoas are caramel delites, thats what happens with two different bakers, causes utter confusion when you are very close to another council that sells the other baker's cookies :rotfl2:

The look on the girls face when they ask for a Samoa, Do Si Do, tagalongs, trefoil and they have no idea what they are taking about makes it kind of frustrating. To my girls it was like they were asking for something from a foreign country as they have two different sets of names and they did not know the other name.

They used to have even more bakers, I can only imagine how confusing that must have been.

Thanks everyone for the kind words about Alyssa.

Off to soccer. If you could send some PD this way that Nicholas wins, he would be so greatful. They have only won one game so far.:guilty:

How did soccer turn out? Did we win?

How very interesting and yet bothersome that the lady ran off the court. What do you think she hears from people? (Hey look….. isn’t that the girl who left the guy hangin’) How sad (as they shake their heads)

As for your friend noticing your daughters changing body, I am not so sure how I would have dealt with that. Knowing me I may have said something like…. Maybe if I stop feeding her she will not grow into a lady and always stay my little girl. Then again I am the smart mouth type on occasion. I do think that would have let her know that she had jumped WAY over the line with the words she chose.

I usually am Miss smarty pants, too. :wave2: But this recital was held at my work, with so many of the other parents I see on a weekly basis, and a church so my smarty pants could have gotten me fired...so I bit my tongue and came here!!

Anyone know what this line is in reference to?

The kids and I ate almost an entire package of Golden Oreos going to the doctor last week. They are so good!

I am sitting here trying not to cry or drive myself crazy

I really thought Nick was better - he wasn't himself today but certainly better and I knew that since he had a fever of 102 or higher for 4 days - he wouldn't be up to par yet -

he cried when we went to get Julia from school and really would pick resting over anything else

tonight he seemed to really perk up and was actually driving me crazy at bedtime - I was so happy - he seemed more like himself -

and then all of a sudden he grabbed his nose and said not again - my head hurts mommy -

I am so frustrated - what could it be - I talked to my BIL who is a doctor and he said that even though his sinuses were clear of fluid - it doesn't mean they weren't inflamed and I should give it a few more days before I panic and go to the doctor again

I just hate that he is in pain and I wish I knew what to do for him

Oh, Kate! I'm so sorry! I know you were hoping that the end was in sight. Can you give him anything for the pain, that might help him sleep tonight?

I would definitely keep your doctor informed about what's going on. At least then it will all be documented and maybe they will be able to find a pattern in his pain. Do cold washcloths help him? What about warm ones?

I wish I had more suggestions to offer. But I don't. However, I'm here if you need to vent! Or scream! Or cry! Or do all at the same time!

I'm so excited. I just got my tie-dye airwalks from Marti. They are so pretty!!!! I immediately took off my plain blue ones and put these on. Thanks Marti. I'm sorry they didn't work for you but your loss is definitely my gain. Now, if only I could win the lottery so that I could convince my DH that I can afford to go on the DDA trip (of course, I'd probably have to buy a lottery ticket first). I'm so jealous of those of you that are going to be able to meet. The DC meet is out for me because that is while I'm at Girl Scout camp. I'm going to keep my eyes on future meets though.

Vicki, You and me both.

I am not jealous, I am not jealous, I am not jealous.

Can I tell you that Samoas Girl Scout Cookies go really well with a glass of red wine! :)

Umm, care to elaborate? Or at least describe the way the cookies taste. In detail, please! Remember I can't eat them anymore, and they were my faves next to the Thin Mints.

Very good, Amy. I'll gladly pay you tomorrow for a hamburger today!

When I was a kid, I had a dog named Sweetpea and I remember begging my mom to let me try spinach from a can. Yeah, I didn't care for it too much! :rotfl:

Amy :)
