Not all cast members know what they're talking about! Try again tomorrow. Denise is not the only one reporting that they are sale now. There are reports on other threads, too.

::yes:: I had checked the theme park board and saw that plenty had ordered theirs, so DH will be calling again. :cool1:

Thank you

Your not a bad mommy. :grouphug:

He actually looks pretty good there - he looked so pitiful yesterday!! Which shows you how sick he was!

He just came out of my room screaming and holding his head in his hands - I am convinced it is sinus related - the doctor didn't even look up his nose - why didn't I insist on it? I am so mad at myself - I asked her if she thought it was sinus and she said she wasn't going to worry about it until the fever lasted a few days - ***??!?!? and how bad of a mom am I that I didn't even insist on it - I might be calling in the morning to see if they will see him again - I am so mad at myself - why didn't I follow my mommy instincts?

Hi everyone! Please pardon my on again/off again posting this week. Things are fine here...I'm just stessed about our open house on Sunday. I hate when things are out of my control, so I've just been trying to absorb myself in cleaning, but it seems like I get one room clean and the dust reappears the next day! Grrr!

Today I had the best break though. Even though she was just at the zoo on Wednesday, Jennifer met me and Alyssa for a few hours. It was a beautiful day, and Alyssa was 90% cooperative (not bad for a two-year-old :goodvibes ).

Jennifer didn't bring her camera, so no pictures of my ever-growing stomach :teeth: but I do have some cute ones of her and Alyssa!

This first one depicts Jennifer's patience. I packed our lunches and we picked a nice shady bench to dine. Alyssa decided to color, but her crayons would fall through the cracks in the bench and then roll down the ground. Finally we convinced her to put her crayons away, but of course, Alyssa insisted on doing that herself!

:wave2: Amy! Good luck on the open house today. I'm sure that your house looks great so take some time to relax. It looks like you had a great day at the zoo. All of the pictures look great! Good to see you in there Jennifer.

Denise thank you so much about the heads up that the tickets are on sale! I just called Disney and they have a party on November 13 !!!!!! Oh wow! My first ever party on my 30th birthday! How cool is that gonna be :) :)

Only thing is the systems down so they couldn't sell me one

I'm gonna call back later on :)

Good morning everyone. I thought I would have a zillion pages to catch up on after not being on all day yesterday, but it wasn't too bad. I didn't take notes, so please forgive me if I forget something.

Kate - so sorry Nick is getting worse. I hope your night wasn't too bad.

Amy - cute pictures of the zoo. I hope you get an offer during your open house.

Congratulations to Matthew on getting your blue belt. What a handsome young man.

Heidi and Angela - prayers to your family.

Denise - How is Rees doing so far?

Kristine - I know you have left already, but I hope you have a great trip.

Thanks for all of the bday wishes for Alyssa. We are getting ready to head out to Nicholas' soccer game and then to the dinner theater.

BTW Elin - what were you doing up at 03:30??

It's time to celebrate
we're a nurse and a doc
you'll need me to hear
the heart tick tock

Under the bed
After a long day at work
you'll go here to sleep
as long as things are calm
and your pager doesn't beep

Coffee Pot
You had a late nite
and need some caffeine
to start your morning right
brewed fresh from the bean

Lingerie drawer
You saw a cute nurse
on the neurology floor
grab me something sexy to wear
and shut the door!!
those are some good clues Kate.

This second picture was taken in the Children's Zoo area. Though she did check out the empty tortoise (turtle, ewwwww!) shells, Alyssa decided she wanted to sit on the camel. Doesn't Jennifer have a beautiful smile? :)

Ok, but seriously --
Your ever-growing stomach that you can't even SEE?! :confused3

Just so everyone is aware -- Amy still looks exactly like the picture Kate posted earlier (from the museum) ... and it really wasn't trick photography!

Colby had another guardian angel on duty today. We have a slide in our back yard that comes out of the top of their "tree House". It is about 15 feet tall. Colby was going down it today and about 1/2 way down fell off the side. I was in the house and heard him scream/cry. I'm guessing that he fell about 6 feet and according to him he landed on his head. Judging by the dirt on his shoulder I think that may have taken the brunt of the fall. He complained of his head hurting for at least 1/2 an hour and he wanted me to lay down and go to sleep with him. I kept him awake and his pupils were equal and reactive, he was able to move everything and visually seemed ok. I got the impression that he was more scared than anything. He wants us to take the slide down now, and it might be a good idea until he is older and able to better control himself. As a treat I had planned to take him to work with me this afternnoon for about 45 minutes until Chris got out of work and could pick him up as he can't go to my parents house with the Whopping Cough. I was glad to have him with me as I could keep an eye on him. He absolutely loved working with me and kept calling himself my helper. He did not want to leave and the customers really enjoyed having him seat them. He also said that he was all better before he left. Chris said that he acted completely normal tonight. I plan to wake him before I go to sleep just to make sure that he can be awakened easily and give me a little peace of mind. So there is my unfortunate story for today, but I'm thankful that all seems to be ok.

Deb
poor colby. hope he is better.

Ditto! And that will offically bring me up to date!! Thanks!!!!!!!

I'm off to buy a barbeque grill, weed and feed for the lawn, a spreader, ring bologna and longhorn cheese, come back help clean the patio, shower and make it to a party by 1:00. Oh, and buy a card and gift for the baby... And I'm here with only one cup of coffee under my belt... :surfweb:

Have a great weekend!!

Cute pictures of Alyssa and Jennifer at the Zoo!

I also loved the pictures of Nick and Julia -- what a cute costume, and she knows how to wear it! I hope Nick is feeling better.

I hope the weekend with the acidic diet goes as well as can be expected for Rees.

We had storms and rain in the area last night, so soccer games were called off for the second week in a row! I'm sure they will try to make them up during the week.....which is when my kids have baseball games. I'm also running to DC for a quick trip to see a former co-worker/friend be sworn in as Assistant Secretary for Veterans Affairs. The company I work for does work with them, so I'm also our rep. I just got ready for the day and already feel like going back to bed!

Do one thing and mark it off my list....Do one thing and mark it off my list...Do one thing and mark it off my list...

I had a fantastic day! The sun was shining and it was 55 degrees so cool enough to be exerting ourselves. I love playing in the trees at camp. The recertification training was pretty fast & furious so I didn't get time to take pictures. I'll look for the ones from last year and try to post some so you can see me playing in the trees. The high ropes course that I work on is 25 feet in the air. It is a lot of fun. We take any girls that want to do it through it at camp. The best part is having the counselors do it. My mother did it when she was in her early 60's. I've also had some other women in their 50's go through it. There is nothing more amazing than the pride they exude after completing it successfully.

That sounds so fun! I love doing the ropes corses, especially the high stuff. It scares me to death sometimes, but is still SO fun!!

Good Morning Everybody;

Sorry I haven't been around lately, I have missed you guys SO MUCH!!!!

I am getting ready for Kyle's First Communion on Sunday, luckily the party is at my in-laws house but I still have a ton to do!!! I am right now as we speak in the middle of boiling eggs for deviled eggs, and potato salad, wish me luck!!! I have used all of your advice on how to make the "perfect" boiled egg and hopefully it will work!!!

Cody's care has been monumental!!! I could have never imagined all that we would have to do for him, it's like having another child!!!! He tore the top layer of sutures out over the weekend and we had to get those re-sutured again now we are back to square one as far as how long the stitches will have to be in for, he has to wear one of those hoods that looks like a lampshade 24/7 that is SUCH a pain, he has MANY meds. that we have to give him, and we are supposed to be giving him showers twice a day because he has developed a staff infection. On top of that I think he is depressed, he is SO mopey and he wants to get out of our room SO bad, we had to section off an area for him and put down lots of towels and sheets because he is still bleeding and draining a lot!!! Thanks for all of your well wishes and hopefully this recovery process will get better and he will be back to normal SOON!!!

Last night I took Carli to the pet store to get a hamster, she missed the one that we were watching for Kyle's class SO much!!!! She seems to do very well having a pet of her own, we made her sign a contract agreeing to take care of it , and do her chores around the house, and most importantly stay in her bed all night, this last one is SUCH an issue w/ her and I think having an animal in her room helps her sleep better!!! We'll see!!! She named her Maya Minnie Honey, but she decided that her nickname will be Cinderella :lmao: !!! The hamster is a baby teddy bear hamster and she is actually very cute!!!

I'm sure some of you all know this, but I had to cancel my trip w/ the DDA to Disney World!!! I was extremely depressed about this this week, I was SO looking forward to going and meeting everybody!!! I have never had a trip away from my kids before, and I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to getting away and having some fun with friends!!! Sadly though it just wasn't meant to be, after all that we paid in the last few weeks for Cody, and for this party this weekend, I just couldn't go in good conscience. It was becoming a MAJOR issue w/ Dave and I, Dave said I would have to choose between this trip and our families trip in December, obviously I had to choose the family trip. Hopefully in the future there will be another trip to go on w/ everybody!!! Thanks to all of you guys going on the trip for including me in your plans and also for understanding why I had to cancel, I hope I didn't mess up any of your plans and I know that you all will have SUCH a GREAT TRIP!!!

When I cancelled the airfare I couldn't get a refund but a credit towards another flight, so I went ahead and booked our airfare for December :woohoo: , so at least I have that to look forward to!!!!

I will let you all know how the party and everything works out, and I promise to get back to posting regularly next week once everything settles down!!!

:wizard: To anybody that needs it!!!!
:grouphug: To everyone else that may need it!!!!

Unfortunately I haven't been able to keep up to speed w/ everything that has been going on, so if I need to know anything let me know or PM me!!!

Julie
Julie so sorry things are hetict. Hope every thing goes well this weekend. Maybe you can make the DC meet. When are you going in Dec?
