I thought Nick was doing better but now he is throwing up - looks like we could have a fun night!

I got my report from the MRI tonight - it means nothing to me - I looked up what they said was wrong with me and it says surgery could go either way depedent on how severe it is and how the doctor typically likes to treat it - what concerns me most is the first time I saw the doctor he said surgery wasn't always a good option for this - so now if he has quit PT and thinks I might need surgery - how bad is it?
First :wizard: for Nick. and :wizard: for you. :grouphug: Prayers for wisdom for the dr. and less worry for you. Hopefully the surgery will fix everything and heal quick.

Just so I am not totally negative tonight - I got this costume for Julia at a garage sale for $5

she looks so cute in it and she knows it :teeth: which means she is pretty funny to watch! Nick being the ham that he is had to jump in a few pics - please excuse the diaper - he is so hot he doesn't want clothes on

Very sweet. princess: She looks so cute. So does Nick. I used to let my kids run around in diapers in the summer inside as we didn't have AC and it would get HOT.

He actually looks pretty good there - he looked so pitiful yesterday!! Which shows you how sick he was!

He just came out of my room screaming and holding his head in his hands - I am convinced it is sinus related - the doctor didn't even look up his nose - why didn't I insist on it? I am so mad at myself - I asked her if she thought it was sinus and she said she wasn't going to worry about it until the fever lasted a few days - ***??!?!? and how bad of a mom am I that I didn't even insist on it - I might be calling in the morning to see if they will see him again - I am so mad at myself - why didn't I follow my mommy instincts?

Here are some pictures of just Alyssa. Kevin made fun of the fact I didn't take any pictures of animals, but Alyssa's so little, I have to pick her up to see most of them, and I can't hold her and take pictures.

Playing in the big rope spiderweb in the children's area:

Looking at zebras...you just can't see them!

Cute pictures. Looks like a fun time.

MY DS called me from the Braves game tonight, maybe you saw him there? LOL

He finished classes today, and has finals next week. He will be home by next weekend for the summer. Yay!

Ellen -- I know you are so happy to have him coming home. Our younger DD finished classes/performances yesterday too and has exams starting next week. Thing is, she only has one written exam and it is not until May 10. I am hoping she gets her theater projects done and can come home for a few days between now and then :goodvibes

Amy and Kate - I loved seeing the pictures of your kids. They are all so precious.

Since you all were chatty last night telling stories, I thought I would share one. As y'all know I have been on my diet and have been walking with the dog every morning. I have a 30 minute window I try to keep within and as we have gotten healthier and faster, our walks have taken us further afield from our house, but still in our general neighborhood/subdivision.

I have two students, aged 4 and 6, who live a little less than a mile from my house, but on the same street/cul-de-sac, and they have been seeing me walk some mornings when their Mom or Dad takes them to school.

Yesterday, in class, I told them that I was almost to their house on my walks. I told them that they ought to look for me today because if they told me which house was theirs I would wave at them as I went by this morning. They looked at their Mom and she started to laugh. She informed me that I would have no trouble finding their house because for the past 2 weeks, every night before they go to bed, the girls have been using sidewalk chalk to write
HI MRS. H on their driveway!
How cute :goodvibes
