The MRI went fine - does anyone know how to read one? Cause I have no idea what I am looking at - although I have the films

I actually found it relaxing - listening to music - I almost fell asleep!! :teeth:

I have to wait until next Wednesday - I can tell you one thing I am NOT having surgery before May 18 - I am going to WDW!!!

Tomorrow night - I am going to see Les Mis - it is my all-time favorite show so that will help lift my spirits!!!

Paula -

unless you don't want to post publicly - I have found that at least one of us has experienced almost everything!

Maybe we could help until they come around!

DDA COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
I had to go online somewhere with Dial up and although I have heard this complaint - I didn't realize how bad it was

our thread is very difficult to read on dial up - b/c we are VERY visual and like to have cool designs, share photos and have complicated signatures

I don't think we should do away with that but I think one thing we can do to help dial up readers is to not quote pictures

it is a little thing but I think will really help

so when you want to quote to comment on a photo - you can delete the photo out and then it might help our dial up friends!!

Now back to your regularly schedule thread!

Nick is tiny too - so I can sympathize

fevers are actually a good thing b/c it means the body is fighting the bad stuff

is she lethargic? has she eaten or had anything to drink?

My doctor doesn't freak out until they are just laying there and doing nothing and not eating or drinking -

You are doing the right things - so just make sure she is comfortable and try putting a cool rag on her forehead

Yes! It makes me smile :goodvibes

I have a question for all of those who have Kate originals for signatures:

Do you find yourself just staring at your signature all the time?

I do....mine lifts my spirits up!!

I love everything about L&T. I don't have the 50th anniversary edition. DH said we already own a copy, so we don't need two.
:sad2:

I already owned it on VHS, but had to buy the DVD the first day it was released. It is so worth the money. It's been restored, so the color is wonderful, and the extras last longer than the movie, so it's like two movies in one!

There's info about when Walt lived in Merceline, MO, old Disney TV show segments, all the old storyboards, etc, etc.

You must get it!!!

Besides, if you can have multiple copies of Sound of Music, you can have multiple copies of L&T. ;)

Paula - my next sentence is in no way trying to minimize your fear - it is ONLY to illustrate that I have been down this road.

Matt was two and had 107.1 with a rectal thermometer when we took him to the emergency room. We had been doing the tylenol vs motrin thing for two straight days - all that accomplished was that he started to throw up blood. The emergency room drs. said that unless a child has a temp of 105-106 they don't start to worry. Why? Because a child can handle so much more than an adult.

Keep your eye on her - you are her mom - you will know when to do something more. Continue with tylenol/motrin until your mother's instincts tell you otherwise.
