I hope to get a thread started tonight just for this Pal's travels.....I believe the other ladies will be doing the same shortly.
You know, I was thinking about this the other night. What do you all think about have a stickey thread, Trips Reports from Pal Mickey? Then after each trip, the DDA person that has him could post his trip report. Could all 3 of the PMs go on the same thread or do you want one for each PM?

Jen, Kate, Marti, Denise, Julia, Jo........and anyone wanting to come to Atlanta this summer. These are the days that I could have an afternnon cookout at my house. The Braves also play the same Fri, Sat or Sun of the same weekend. We need to start checking our calendars and see what works best.

Cookout Dates:
June 3rd, 17th
July 1st, 8th or 30th.......the 30th is a Sunday
August 12th

Let me know..............Lynn

June 17th would be ideal for me. I will not start work until late June, but the 3rd is out because we'll be gone on our trip.

If you have to do July or August to accomodate others, I still might be able to come -- I just won't know until I see if my residency schedule is weekends or not.

That's a great idea!! A sticky!! I have no idea how to do it though!! I don't think it would be too hard to keep the boys all on one as they have different "middle" names to help us tell them apart. And we could have the schedule for them on the first page, so we could tell where he is at all times if we want!!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Baloo would need to do it for us. I'm sure she wouldn't mind. :goodvibes

Hey all

I am glad you all like your new signatures!!

I got bad news today - I had a follow up with my doctor this afternoon - he said my knee muscles are strengthening but my knee is not responding as it should and he immediately stopped PT - I am going for an MRI in about 20 minutes and he is HOPING that he might be able to surgically correct it -

I don't know what it will mean if he can't

I am walking out the door now and won't know anything until I see him again next Wed. - I could really use some :wizard:

You got it! Keep us posted, and take care of yourself!!! :wizard:

Oh good, thanks. I'm still not sure if we are going to bring ours (single), rent at the park, or rent a double from an off-site place like we have done in the past. Nicholas is a bit too big, 48 lbs., but I hate the thoughts of making him walk everywhere. It exhausts me, I can't imagine what it will be like for a 6 yr old.

We used a stroller for Matt when he was 6 just in case. I would say we used it half the time, and he was a big kid. But even big kids get tired! I was glad we used our own and on a day that we didn't have it with us, we knew we could always rent one. But that was when he was just barely six and we haven't used one since. Boy I miss it!! Nowhere to put all of our stuff now!

Kate - did they read the MRI today??

Amy - what did your doctor say today about your blood pressure?

If it matters - that is father's day weekend

I have a more immediate need - Cheesecake Factory to lift my very deflated spirits!!

We only have a single, so I'm going to need to rent a double from somewhere. Or bring the single and rent a single. In December we rented a regular Graco double stroller and he looked so big in it. He is avg. height, but a bean pole. I don't know what the weight limit is for those.

ETA: I found out they are 45lbs each side.

I'd say you're owed! Will Steve take you? If so, order 2 pieces of cheesecake.

Did they give you any hint of the knee situation at the MRI?

Kate, I hope you knee is gonna get better! Let us know about the MRI. Just in case www.walkermedical.com delivers ECV's to the resorts and he has good prices! Or just rent a wheelchair! I don't think the other DDA'ers going would mind pushing the Queen around! :rotfl:

I'm off to start cleaning the junk room! Found out a friend is having a garage sale Friday and Saturday and money always motivates me! :thumbsup2

I'm not pushing her anywhere, but I will tie it to the bumper of the rental. We'll just call that one Expedition Skunka... :rotfl2:

UUMMMMM......not meaning to offend or anything, but wouldn't she need to be in front of you, Skunka, so she's not downwind? ;)
