I am off to a birthday party for our friends twins. They are the BIG 3!

I tried to keep up with the thread today, taking short cleaning breaks, but at this point my brain is fried, so I'll have to respond tomorrow. Here's a few and lots of until then!

Our meeting with the realtor went well. Our house will officially go on the market tomorrow, so it's going to be a busy weekend of finishing several last minute projects and more cleaning. Luckily, we'll have a nice long break Saturday night when we meet up at Kate's for the cookout! I'm hoping the weather will be like this

I would like to first thank Stephanie (Steffy) for telling me about the DIS board. About two weeks after that, I found the Design thread and that started my year long posting.

When we went to WDW, I had the most fun. Not only because I was having a real, real vacation since my cruise in 1987 with my DH. But all the planning, and making of shirts from everyone who made the most wonderful designs for our time with Disney.

I do not have the money to go as often as I would like to in my dreams, but I can live vicariously from everyone else going. Right now I would give anything to go this year, but it is not looking like that in the cards.

Thanks everyone for your prayers! From what I have heard the procedure is fairly simple, but I think Meme is a little concerned because it just sounds so odd. When the PT said they would inject "concrete", I think that it threw her for a little while. Now, she can't seem to get past that part. She should be back at home and good as new as early as tomorrow so that is good! I just told her that this had to be better and faster than the time she broke both wrists within 4 weeks of each other. Not fun for a woman who lives alone!

I made my ADRs this morning!

Thurs 19th - Akershus 11:55
Fri 20th - Primetime 5:05
Sat 21st - Kona 6:25
Sun 22nd - Cape May 10:30

I made my ADRs sitting in the car on the way home. It is so funny to me how eating changes as your kids gets older!

Thursday 19th - Spoodles 5:00
Friday 20th - Coral Reef 7:00
Saturday 21st - Party for the Senses (no ADR)
Sunday 22nd - Le Cellier 11:30

FWIW, I think we should go to Disney as our annual October vacation.....

We could still shop for Christmas presents... have great meals.... buy ornaments.... relax... and be there for Food and Wine again. See, I have this little vacation condo in Disney......

Rees' tests are next Friday. We have to be at the hospital at 7:30 am. He goes Monday for his pre-op appt with the Anesthesiologist. I don't think I'm going to be around as much the next week or so. I really need some time to try to recharge. I'm having a tough time with all this and I can't take it out on my family. I'll try to pop in and say hi, and I'll keep you updated on Rees.

Hello all! I have not posted in a while, but I have been "lurking". All this turtle talk kinda scared me I am a little shy and it is hard for me to come out of my "shell". We just got Leighanna's pictures back and I wanted to share. I have enjoyed seeing all the DDA's kids.

Tom -- what precious pictures of Leighanna! I think she looks like Drew Barrymore in these.

I'm sorry I don't remember whose recipe it was, but I made the Dutch Meatloaf tonight. If I hadn't screwed it up, it would have been really good. I guess it was anyway because John and the kids ate it up! Instead of reading through the instructions, I just started dumping everything into the bowl with the meat. So by the time I realized that all of the liquid ingredients were supposed to be mixed separate, I had already put in all of the tomato sauce, water and brown sugar. At this point it was too late to do anything else so I just mixed it all together and had one big blob, because it was way to moist. I baked it anyway and it still was a little soft when done. Didn't hold together well. But we ate it and the kids didn't complain, so that makes it a winner. Next time I will get it right.

On another note, to show you how my day is going, since it has been so rainy and we can't do anything outside, I decided to try to capture some of my digital movies into my computer and edit them. Well I spent over an hour trying to get my laptop to recognize my camcorder, which it will not do. I have tried everything that I can think of, but it is still isn't working. I don't know what to do now. Any ideas?

Finally I figured out that I need to put the video editing software onto the laptop. Duh. Now the question is, can I find the CD? No. Do I have time to look for it right now? No. I have company. Just came here for a minute to whine about this very thing.....
