HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKUNKA!

Well I've finished my speed reading catch up and posting party. We have a busy day planned. Brian and his dad got all of the baby stuff down yesterday and I've figured out how I'm putting all of the crib bedding together so now I just need to take measurements and start sewing. I also need to paint Christopher's room and the nursery. Christopher won't be in Extended Care anymore and only has a few weeks of school left so it's going to be more difficult for me to get things like that done.

We also need to rearrange furniture and take lots of things to Goodwill.

I hope everyone has a great day! Hope all the DDA's and DDA kids are feeling better today!

Amy and Kevin if you check in, good luck today!! Sending you pixiedust:

Kate, how is Nick today?
I can't decide

he is up and when Julia touched him this morning she said to me "HE ISN'T HOT ANYMORE!!" How hot must he have been that his 4 year old sister could tell the difference!

But the fever has been gone every morning and spiked in the afternoon

his eyes are still very dark and somewhat hollow - and he is pretty mopey -

I think I am going to take him to the doctor but I can't really make up my mind

Kate I hope nick's fever doesn't come back. :wizard: :grouphug: But if it does get him to the Dr.

Kate, take Nick today. Guarantee he's got a sinus infection and will do it again tonight.

Good morning. Rees is done with his test!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPPPEEEEEEEE!!!! He did great. He did reflux once I saw during the night. Overall, he only refluxed a few times that we witnessed. I am guessing the doctor will say that medication and diet for now to control it, and when and if the reflux breaks through that treatment, then we'll redo the Fundo. I'll get all the official results on Tuesday, and it still depends on the biopsy results and if he refluxed more than John and I saw.

Thanks for the prayers! He had milk for lunch and oatmeal (his faves!). Taking them to the movie later and getting a giant popcorn with butter. Yummy!

What a disappointing week-end. Friday was so nice - sun shining and warmer weather. Saturday was overcast, windy & chilly. Today is starting out the same way. Bummer! One of those days I just want to stay home under the covers. Wish I had an indoor fireplace that I could snuggle in front of.

Chuck is making italian sausage soup because we wanted something warm for lunch. His parents are taking a drive over for a visit this afternoon. They live 1-1/2 hours away. The house smells wonderful!!!!! The last time we made it we were hoping to freeze some but I enjoyed it too much and wanted it in the fridge instead.

Gotta Go! His parents are here. I'll catch up later.

Ok. What tree are you? I'm a chestnut tree. Pretty accurate for me.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1090267

Chestnut Tree (Honesty) -- of unusual stature,
impressive, well-developed sense of justice, fun to be around, a
planner, born diplomat, can be irritated easily, sensitive of others
feelings, hard worker, sometimes acts superior, feels not understood
at times, fiercely family oriented, very loyal in love, physically fit

Hazelnut Tree (Extraordinary) -- charming, sense of
humor, very demanding but can also be very understanding, knows how to
make a lasting impression, active fighter for social causes and
politics, popular, quite moody, sexually oriented, honest, a
perfectionist, has a precise sense of judgment and expects complete
fairness.

Pretty good I fight about social causes but not so for politics

Ah yes, my fear of escalators has come to roost...... :teeth:

Yes, i clicked. It took me a long time to get used to escalators because my two sisters used to scream going onto them and I still find myself standing in front of the one so she will not fall :goodvibes

Hi everyone.
Hope you all are doing well.
Just popping in to say the move went well.
All settled in before the rain hit.
Pretty much all done unpacking.
I cheated.
Apartment has been empty since 4/8/6.
So I have been moving things in since then.
Just needed the furniture, kitchen stuff in.
The girls ( :cat: :cat: ) are a bit confused.
Need to get some food & Ramiro pictures up in his room.
Hoping I can get caught up Sunday.
Only 250 pages behind so far.
take care later.

Hi Jo,
