Hey -

I have a question:

if you thought one of your neighbor's (who you really don't know very well) might be having an affair - and you knew an innocent question to ask the wife that might tip her off - would you do it? If he isn't having one - the question would not make me look like I suspected he was and she would have a perfectly logical answer

If you are not good friends, then I probably would not. What if she did figure out what you meant and he isn't... or what if he is and you're the one that tips her off- she might be really mad at YOU (displace the anger) and think you are being nosy/invading their privacy. JMHO.

Kate,
How long do you plan to live in that house :lmao:
Having a feud with a neighbor is not a good thing.
So DO NOT DO IT IMHO

Terry

If I did not know them well, I would probably not say anything. A close friend, definetly!

Suppose she knows and just wants to save face. And then she'll know you know... what good could come of it????

I almost accidentally asked the question the other day before I really started thinking about things -

her DH has been dropped off by or arrived at the same time as a car that I didn't recognize - while we were talking the other day I almost asked - did you get a new car? After I came home and talked with DH about a few things she told me - he asked do you think xxxx is having an affair? I had suspected but hearing DH say it really got me thinking and then I realized I saw the car a lot last week when she told me she was out of town (which I did not know when I almost asked the question)

I actually was pretty relieved that I didn't ask her - but then I got to thinking what if I had!!!

Just a quick post - I've read everything, and sorry that I don't have the energy to respond to everyone individually.

Elin and Marti - safe travels. We'll be thinking about you while you're gone.

Amy - cute pics of Alyssa!

Steffy - I feel your pain, sister. Southwest Airlines is torturing me on at least a weekly basis with DING fare to Orlando!

Kate - hope the knee gets to feeling better. Don't push yourself.

Kristine and Denise - :grouphug: :grouphug: to both of you. I'm feeling like you guys tonight as well. Life is just too much for me right now.

Goodnight DDA! I have about 2 more hours of work I need to accomplish tonight to just go start over again in the morning.

I'm wiped. Today was good and bad. Kids had a creative movement show at school and did the balance beam, tumbling, and line dance. It was cute, and they did a really good job. Then staff meeting, then ballet. By the time I got home and had 40 minutes to cook dinner, unpack from the day... I was in a FOUL mood. I think all the stress of Rees, being so busy, didn't sleep any last night has caught up with me. Went to choir in NOT the best mood. The kids were bouncing off the walls (I teach 4 year old choir). The other teacher and I both are rejoicing that there are only 2 more weeks.

Came home and got the kids in bed. DH went to bed early. I asked if I could DIS and watch TV in bed and got the big NO. So I am downstairs in the recliner. I feel like screaming, crying, breaking everything in the house, throwing a fit. I hold it together and then I just break. So now I'm crying typing this and hating how I feel. Sorry for the ramble. I just get so freaking mad over how life is for Rees, how complicated everything always is, how much effort just normal activities can be, how hard scheduling our lives can be. It is never just a simple little life here. It is ALWAYS something. Gosh darnit, why can't some evil kid have all these problems? It is so damn unfair. I'm off to have another glass of wine. Maybe I'll relax and get some sleep.

Oh, Denise!! :grouphug:

You came to the right place to vent!!

Hope you already have had that little something that will relax you.
It's always something on top of something!!

Hope your day goes better tomorrow.

Sleep well and have lovely dreams....

don't let the bed bugs bite!!

Okay, it's way past my bedtime. I can't sleep. I closed the window to get my airfare. It's probably gone. Soooooo, if I can't plan my own trip to Disney, maybe I can help my friend.

My friend's family is going to Disney. For a lot of them, their fist trip. First trip for her 92 year old Mom. First for her and her hubby. First for her brother and his wife. They are staying at the Westsomething villas offiste. Looks great. Her daughter and her husband, 3 kids are staying there too. Sona, wife and 1 kid staying at Bonnet Creek. If her youngest daughter can find a dog sitter.. party of 14.

Obviosly they are not touring together. My concern is for the core 5. Her, hubby, 92 y/o Mom, bro and sil.... I'm trying to help them plan a nice trip. Not too much park time, some nice resturants, and cool attractions that are wheelchair bound 92 y/o friendly.....

MK.. country bears... hall of presidents... cop...philharmagic...small world....

meals at CP or LTT. They like plain old American cuisine...

EPCOT SE, energy...soaring...living seas...circle of life....the land..innovnetions..mission space..just kidding!!!.. imagination....Although they will get tired, I do think GG(grandma) would love the world showcase. stop and see the candy lady in Japan.. off kilter... accrobats.. snack around the countries...meal at Le Cellier.

AK, they are going to get a little sweaty and tired pushing her around here... but the safari, lion king and lunch at tusker house or flame tree BBQ is so worth it.... she'll love bugs life if she stays in her chair....

MGM.... muppets 3d, movie ride... lights, motor, action, she'll like that....beaty and beast show.. ariel.. little mermaid....

Okay, I think I can sleep now...... :cloud9:

Tinkaroo -- You and I sound like we have the same schedule. I'm up working, too, as usual. Bleck!

You're good, you keep up with the thread. I just log on when I can, read a few pages, then go back to working. That's why I'm always wondering what people are talking about like with the turtles and the new site, etc. I need DDA Cliff Notes!

The weather was so nice here in Dallas today (upper 80s -- cooled off from the 99 it was on Easter Sunday and yesterday) that DBF talked me into leaving the laptop this afternoon and going for a swim in our aparto pool. We took the fins, mask and snorkel. We wish we were back on Castaway Cay, so the pool is the next best thing.

It was so nice outside that we called some friends to come over for a BBQ (I'm from CA, we call it a BBQ. Others would call it grilling or a cookout). We grilled up beef burgers, turkey burgers, asparagus and mushrooms. I love veggies cooked on the grill! But just as we were starting to eat, the sky lit up with huge cracks of lighting and there were big booms of thunder. We stayed outside until the trickle of raindrops got more steady. From the looks of weather.com we are in for a big storm tonight!

That was my thought too. What if she knows and is in denial. Then she'll know you know and things will be really weird on your block.

Hi everyone - I just popped in to say I'm waaay back on page 1488 and won't be around much for the next few days. I really have to get back on top of my studying and catching up with you guys is just way too much of a distraction.

I miss you all and know how Tammi was feeling now!

Hope everyone is ok.

Elin - I may have missed you but I just wanted to say I hope everything goes as well as it can do these next few days and that I'll be thinking of you and your family :grouphug:

"See" you all soon.

:)

Thanks, Tammi (and all the rest of you). I don't think I will have internet access while we are gone, nor the time to get on here if I did). Again, my family and I wish to thank you all for your thoughtfulness and caring. You are an amazingly loving group of people.

Just stopping by...

Not in Vegas yet....I am just in a cranky/depressed mood! I am not really a moody chick...so not sure what this all means...so if you don't see me around this is why. Hopefully the fog will lift soon....
