Alrighty then, I'm headed to bed. Tomorrow is our bad day, and, if possible, it is even busier. School/teach, kids have their Creative Movement program at school, staff meeting after school, ballet, church dinner, then choir. Oh, and John won't be home tomorrow night until late.

BTW, anyone know who said the above tag line and what show it is from?

I'm sure it's already been answered, but it's Jim Carey, and I believe the show was Ace Ventura, or the Mask. Can't remember which one.

Am I right? I'll keep reading to see.

I'm going to bed too. Colby doesn't know that it's a school vacation week and that we should all sleep in He'll be up bright and early. Tomorrow I hope to pressure was the front of my house and put out our bench and some plants that I bought today. I hope that it will look nice before Sunday.

I promised myself when I was young I'd try to be a good mommy. I love my babies so much & couldn't imagine someone else raising them. I love to play with them, do crafts, listen to music with them, read to them...just BE with them. I think I go overboard even to the point of spoiling them sometimes because I want them to have such a happy childhood. Whoa..ok getting to heavy here Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Anne Marie - this is one place where you never have to worry about dragging us down. We are here to listen and to help when we can.

From what I've heard about you, you are an AMAZING mom! Your kids are so incredibly lucky! I don't think it's possible to spoil a child with love, and that is what you are doing: loving them! Keep it up! We need more happy kids!

I'm glad you feel you can come here to get things like this off your chest. I'm sorry that your mother and MIL get you down. I can sympathize. My MIL has that same effect on me, so vent away all you like!

Hug your babies, and know that you are a wonderful mom!

I am cracking up - my dog has "rediscovered" her mirror image in the refrigerator door and is pawing at it! She hasn't done this since she was a puppy - she's almost 6 - and it's just making me laugh!

Of course, maybe I'm just a bit lonely tonight as DH is out of town - or maybe it's that whole "mental" thing we've been talking about!

I hate it when Alan is out of town! I never sleep really well, and have to leave the TV on for company all night long. I hope that you will be able to get some rest, or that "mental" state we all have will intensify, right?
