That was Theresa (babytrees). I thought about that as soon as Paula posted about her hoo hoo but I didn't want to be the one to point it out :teeth:

Sorry grandma. :guilty: :)

But it is what we call it.:teeth:

I will find another to use when talking about it with you all.

The 5 kids are outside doing their best to try to kill each other. My DN (the only girl) is running in here every couple of minutes tattling on one of the boys. I finally said unless there is blood involved I don't want to hear it. I guess I'd better go out and get them back under control. You'd think they'd be able to get along on such a nice day. The yard is fenced in so I know that they're safe. Give a girl a break. Disney take me away. Disney take me away.

My mother used to say…. I don’t have time for hospitals today.

I am a size 8 and I got the shirts in a Medium and they fit perfect! They are fitted slightly at the sides (which I love!) I will probably air dry them though... also, without trying to be crass, my "girls" aren't the biggest so someone with a better endowment than I may need a large :rotfl:

The pants I took in a Medium also and they are a little more roomy, but still fit very nice!

Well, I am NOT a size 8, so I guess M is out. :rotfl: What would I need- I'm a 12 on the bottom and am "well endowed" on the top! :rotfl:

So all you West Coast DDA's, how close are you all to Reno? I found out today I am headed out there May 1st. I am doing some independent contract work for the company I worked with before I had Emma. 6 days in Reno, without my DH or DD's. But the biggest plus is that for 24 hour of actual work I will be able to completely pay for our WDW trip. :cool1:

Is there anything that I should do while I am there. I won't have a car so that will limit my ability to do a lot I am sure. But would like to know if there is something I shouldn't miss! I will have a lot of time to myself.

Sorry, I can't help you. I don't live anywhere near Reno. Wendover, yes, Reno, no. I wish I was closer, I'd arrange to meet you. Can't help you on what to do, either. Sorry.

Just got home. The appointment went as both John and I expected. Dr. Meyers agrees Rees is refluxing again. He said best case scenario is that it isn't as severe as it appears to be, and that Rees is just really sensitive to the acid. If that is the case, they will manage him with meds and diet. But, we have to find out just what it going on. So either this Friday or next Friday he will go to the Outpatient GI Lab at the hospital and have an Endoscopy and pH Probe. They will give him an IV and put him to sleep. They'll put a tube with a small camera down his esophagus into the stomach to view the anatomy, check for hernias, and check the status of the Fundo. Then Dr. Meyers will attach an electronic sensor to the inside of his esophagus. The sensor sends data via a wireless device to a gadget Rees will wear on his hip for 48 hours. It will tell the doctor the pH of the acid in his esophagus and show how bad the reflux is. He has to stop all Reflux meds that week and must eat a very acidic diet for the weekend (apple juice, oj, tomato products, etc) to make the stomach acid as bad as possible. It is the only way go get an accurate reading. Last time he had a pH probe was awful. without the meds, he refluxed horribly and was in a lot of pain. I'm hoping this time won't be as bad. After 48hours we take the data box back to the doctor to download and analyze the info. If it shows moderate reflux and the Endoscopy shows anything, then we will go to the Surgeon to repeat the Fundo.

That is all I know at the moment. Please pray it isn't as bad as it appears and Rees can avoid surgery. Thanks for all your support. It means a lot.

Denise that procedure sounds awful. Poor Rees. I hope that it really isn't as bad as it seems.

Hi, Lynn! We need to have a DDA Atlanta meet with me, you, and Julia. We should go to Chick Fil A so we can torture Marti!

We always say that we will get together but we still haven't. You know I live in Snellville so between you and Julia decide a good central location.

I'm sure you would be fine with the pants in a large. As for the top, :confused3 not sure what to tell you. If you normally take a large in polo type tops, then you should be fine. If not, go a size up- I don't think it would be too big that you'd be swimming in it! Also, the light pink was on backorder until the middle of May :(

Wow! What a lot for a little guy to have to go through. On top of everything else, too. I will definitely keep Rees in my prayers. We'll k eep our fingers crossed for as little pain for those 48 hours, and for no surgery, as well.

You're in Snellville and Julia is in Roswell. Sounds like Dunwoody or Alpharetta would be a middle ground? What would work best for you?

Thanks! and I'm not even the OP, but that guy really ticked me off!!! Something tells me it could get ugly if he comes back and posts again...

Well, it wouldn't be the first time I was part of a locked thread! ;) :confused3:crazy: :furious: :rolleyes1

It seems that every time I log on there is either talk of turtles or hoo hoo's. It's no wonder why we have so many beautiful DDA children. It seems our minds are in the gutter (shell) most of the time :rotfl: :rotfl: . If I mention all this talk to my dh he will be logging in more. :rotfl2:

Probably Dunwoody.......is there a Chic A Lick at Perimeter Mall??

Another one that is getting ugly is the MVMCP 2005 thread from the theme park board. Some people went crazy over there when the Dis released the 2006 dates. This time I chose to stay out of it!! ;)

Let us know if he does. I've posted over there too. Took me a while to think of what I wanted to say. I believe he has a Disney website with some software that he designed to help plan your Disney trip (meaning he is a Disney regular and can afford to wait). They don't understand that for some this trip is a once in a lifetime kind of thing or that people scrimp and save to go for this one time a year. I realize things happen and you need to roll with it but when it is apparently widespread at Disney that is different.

Oh my gosh! Kristin, those are so adorable. It ALMOST makes me want another baby. ALMOST. And if any of you tell my DH I just said that, I will deny it!

There is one in the food court and there is one right off Exit 6 on 400 near Perimeter mall. Or we could splurge and go nicer. There are tons of good places at Perimeter. And John works right next door to it, so I could bring the kids and let you meet them and then he could take them home!
