The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 5

I hope everyone is having a good afternoon!

My sister and I went to the Aronoff for a play this morning with her homeschool group. It's called "My Heart in a Suitcase", based on the book of the same name (by Anne L. Fox). Usually the plays we see are just good fun... but this one had me in TEARS! I'm going to try and find the book... has anyone read it? It's about a girl who was sent to London with the Kindertransport during the Holocaust. It was only a one-act, but it was done SO well that even with less than an hour the whole place was crying!

So then we went to lunch and listened to Disneymania 4 to lighten the mood a bit.

Now I'm off to the park with Kyle and Thea.... I told him last night when I went to bed that I had goofed (hence the waving, "tell them I said hi" but was too incoherent and still too asleep to accomplish much more). I'll ask him if he plans on joining us now, or if he still has an excuse

Random question When is your due date again? I JUST got an email from a friend of mine saying they found out today they were having a girl as well. She is due September 1st.

My due date is September 3rd. My c-section is scheduled for August 29th.

Ok, we only have about 400 more to our next milestone. Yes, I counted right. I'm not totally crazy!!!! Well, that discussion is for another time. When we hit 22584, we'll have more posts in this thread than in the monster thread. That is only about 400 away. It took you 220 days to hit it in the monster thread. How many days will it be in this thread? So far, this thread has been going 104 days.

The same thing I drink everyday. Lots & lots of pepsi. Oops, I forgot, I gave most of that up. Actually, it's kind of strange. Before Halloween, I was drinking about 100-120 oz. of pepsi a day. I'm crazier now that I'm drinking less than 24 oz. a day. Hmmmmm. Must be my normal personality is crazier without all the caffeine. Kind of scary, hey??!!

Hey stop that!!! I too gave up Pepsi....I am down to one sweet drink a day....I can't go cold turkey and I think I am way nuttier on less caffeine!!

So all you West Coast DDA's, how close are you all to Reno? I found out today I am headed out there May 1st. I am doing some independent contract work for the company I worked with before I had Emma. 6 days in Reno, without my DH or DD's. But the biggest plus is that for 24 hour of actual work I will be able to completely pay for our WDW trip.

Is there anything that I should do while I am there. I won't have a car so that will limit my ability to do a lot I am sure. But would like to know if there is something I shouldn't miss! I will have a lot of time to myself.

Here's another "my DH pays more attention to me than I thought" story

I was telling him Dawn called me and how nice it was to talk with her and that even though I knew she had a southern accent it still threw me -

and he said to me

"Just wait until you talk to your friend from England - I bet you don't think about her talking with a British Accent!!"
