I just realized I am over 500 posts!!!!!

Kelli - I'm so glad that you were able to get the Minnie. I felt bad when I asked Kate to change it to Goofy after all of her hard work, but it worked out just great for both of us.

Elin, I feel your pain. My mother died 12 years ago today (it was on my son's 26th birthday, and it was also HER mother's birthday). Time will soften the pain, and you will see her in yourself and remember her through so many things that you do exactly the way she did, and don't even realize it now. Our loved ones really do live on through us.

Rees' appt with the GI doctor is tomorrow at 12:15pm EST. We'll talk about everything and try to figure out the best course of action to take. I'm hoping the doctor has decided what test to order so we can see about the Fundo and surgery. Rees did reflux tonight again (not as bad). He cried at the end of school today as he was stressing out over going to the doctor tomorrow.

One of the women I teach with (actually she is BK's teacher) is watching Davis and Brantley-Kate for me. John will meet us at the doctor. So if y'all can spare some prayers for him, I'd appreciate it.

Of course he (and you) will be in my prayers. I'm so hoping that the GI doctor will be able to figure things out in Rees' best interest. Give him a hug from his DDA family, and get some rest!

Surprisingly, he hasn't said much. When I told him about it, I thought for sure I'd hear how crazy I am. Instead, he just said "ok, write it in my palm pilot so I don't forget". And then nothing.

So it came up again tonight, and I asked him if he really minded going for a BBQ with total strangers (since I sort of just told him we were going without much conversation ) and he said something along the lines of talking about the DDA all the time anyway.... blah blah blah....

I assured him I'd try and fill him in though a bit, at least on names and maybe what families belong together. Right now when I talk about anyone from here it's always "[Amy] who? Oh, from the boards". So I'm pretty sure he might stop listening at that point.... which means you might all be one person in his brain
