Well all, just putting the finishing touches on supper--chuck roast with tomatos and macaroni. Then off to babysit youngest grandson. Will be back on late tonight.

I know it is hard to ask but keep the posts down :lmao:

Image ready came with my copy of photoshop, it's used to optimize pictures for the web but has an animation function - I didn't realise you could do them in photoshop.

I need to think what I want in my signature then I'll have a go...

Hmm... I'll have to check! I'm home now to play with photoshop anyway (took lots of pictures at the zoo specifically to play!), so i'll look to see if I have the program as well. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Hi all!

Sorry I missed the Minnie/Mickey talk last night! I almost spilled my Diet Coke all over the keyboard!!

While you were chatting we had our first fire in our outdoor fireplace last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH spent all last summer building our patio and the fireplace and we finally finished it the weekend before we went to WDW. By the time we got back it was too cold in the evenings to enjoy it :(. The whole block came down to help us celebrate- we had a ball!
Here's a picture of it:

Have a Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!

That's beautiful! My dad has a fire ring and this elaborate area that he set up and it's always so much fun to gather around it gets dark!

So, what.... Cincinnati just isn't going to have Spring anymore (aside from the storms every night)?! :confused3 We about had a heat stroke today in the sun! This is the second or third year in a row that I feel like we've skipped an entire season!

Are we joining the ranks of Chicago and Minneapolis that just go from Winter to Summer and back again?

We had fun though. I don't normally take pictures at the zoo since we go fairly often, but I did today because I just got a new camera in the mail yesterday that I ordered weeks ago! I took a bunch to play with it, so when I get done uploading them (and the cupcake pictures) I'll share a few!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun :goodvibes

That's all for me for the weekend!! Hope everyone has a Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!!! Please keep the posting down to a dull roar!! :rotfl2:

Here in Chicago we only have 2 seasons: Winter and Road Construction! :rotfl2: (But since the latter pays the bills in this house I can't complain!)

OK, I am really going now! Have a great day!

Hey Jennifer,

Don't forget to post pictures of your cupcakes!

We ended up making the Peep cupcakes and I'm still hoping to make the Strawberry Daiquiri cupcakes after we finish dying Easter eggs.

Hi everyone.
I have some time on my hands.
I know, can you believe it.
Going to do a bit of relaxing.
OK I lied!
The dryer is on, so is the dishwasher. :lmao:
Anyway I'm going to try to catch up.
Still back on 1300.
Can we all just slow down a little. :moped:
I flunked speed reading. :rotfl2:

Ok, so here are yesterday's pictures :)

First the cupcakes, although I couldn't quiet get them to swirl... I still think they're cute! Thanks again Dawn, for posting the link!

And while we were waiting for the cupcakes to cool, we went to a dog park nearby and I played with my camera a little .... although it was too muddy to really bother, so it didn't last long. :)

These aren't the clearest pictures, because I wasn't really messing with the settings at all.

It takes really nice pictures. What kind of camera did you get?

And here are a few zoo pictures! The rest are here , if anyone really wants to look at them (only a couple pages). It's time for Zoo Blooms, so there are some gorgeous flowers... but I won't bore the rest of you who don't want to see them! :rotfl:

It's a Fuji Finepix E550. I had an older version, but this one is MUCH nicer! I was really impressed with the pictures it took today, and the majority of them were mostly automatic.

There are a few at that link of various fountains and waterfalls where I played with the shutter speed, but even the point and shoot pictures look crystal clear! I'm excited.

Thanks for letting me share :teeth:

We're going to bring back the 70's! Which is fine with me, because I didn't get to see them the first time around! :hippie:

Is it a point and shoot? We've had the Canon S2 IS since early December and I still haven't figured that bad boy out. It takes nice pictures on auto but I've seen pics. posted on the Photography board where people have used the settings and they're awesome.

I love your flower pictures too. And the gorilla with the Easter basket is cute!

It's a lot like the S2 IS. It has an automatic setting, but then you can do about half the stuff manually that you can do with a manual camera. I have a manual film camera that I bought in college and read websites, etc to try and teach myself. I have a basic knowledge of manual photography, so it was fun to try and use this camera that way! The camera you have is a good one! I looked at it for quite a while, and only ended up with this one because I have XD cards galore, and Canon doesn't support them... and those suckers are EXPENSIVE! I felt like i needed one more camera to use with them, but after this one I might look at other brands. I wish this one did take SD media, because it's less expensive! But I'm happy enough with the Fuji :)

Please do, I am sure we can figure something out!

Sounds good to me! I know that Chanon and I overlap a few times in our plans. I'll figure out which ones later and post to see if they match your schedule at all. Plus, I'm flexible so can adapt to meet up as well.

Great pictures, Jennifer. Looks like you have already had a good weekend! :)
