This afternoon, I had to drive by our vet's office and later this evening, I was watching a DVD with Alyssa, but I was just picking at the white kitty hair that is still there on our loveseat. I never thought I would take losing a pet this hard, but now I know I will always empathize with others who experience this kind of heartbreak.

I used to teach Cry the Beloved Country to my seniors, and they hated it! Of course, most of them hating reading period...at least required school reading.

Julie, I'm so sorry to hear about Cody. I can't imagine the anxiety you guys likely have right now. I remember what a mess I was losing my childhood Sheltie when I was in college, and I can't even bear the thought of losing the Maltese I have now. Amy what up with all the Ewwww Ewwing you are the pregnant one so we all know what you DID!!!! We can all claim the stork brought ours - like in Dumbo!!!

Actually I'm quite familiar with that movie...Alyssa has been watching it every day for the past two weeks!!!

I Walt decided the stork is easier to explain than the fact an elephant is pregnant for 22 months!!!
