It has been over 15 years since I have been around military personnell(sp....sorry sleepy tonight!!) full time...

seems to me that this sounds more like Monty Python...but I did say I was sleepy!!

ETA: YEAH!!! I was right it was a Monty Python reference(pretty good for a girl who has never, ever watched a Monty movie or show!!)

I told him I stayed off the DIS all night, watched a movie, played with the turtle. So now I get to DIS on the laptop in bed and watch tv on close caption. Not a bad tradeoff.

Kate's target reminded me of something -- Am I overreacting, or does anyone else think it is weird that a coach for 7 and 8 year old coach-pitch boys named his team the Snipers and has camo shirts with sniper targets on them?

That's very, very odd.

The worst of the storms are through now, we still are under a watch till 3am. I think I can sleep now, night all

I just spent the last hour in the basement listening to our tornado warning siren. I am so scared of storms, when I was younger our home was destroyed by a tornado & that put a fear in me I will never forget.

My oldest ds is spending the night with a friend. I called to make sure he was ok, as we were talking the sirens went off & we were disconnected. I was in panic mode! Garrett called me back in tears wanting to know if I was ok. This broke my heart, it was so hard to hold back the tears. My baby was so scared & worried about me.

Anyway I think everything will be ok now, my heart can slow down. I don't mean to sound so dramatic, but this is a big fear for me. The worst is dh was outside with the video camera, what was he thinking

Hope everyone else that was in or is in the path of this storm is ok.

I was part of a flood....can't even stand if there is a threat of one(not much threat right now as we are in the middle of a drought!!)

Easter Party









Karate today which was a BLAST!

Denise - those three are ADORABLE - BK looks beautiful in her party frock and the boys look very dapper in the karate outfits -they all look really happy

I'm all the way on 1230 as my mom came out for a visit this week for Easter and I've been cleaning like mad before she came, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter this weekend, I'm sure it will take me awhile to catch up. I hope everyone's doing well.

Julia had tumbling tonight and I saw one of the coaches inside talking with her class - right where Julia was - he came out cracking up laughing - he said - I love those little girls - they are so cute - one of them just told me - THOSE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!

I didn't need to look at his feet to know what kind of shoes he had on!!!
