When I was looking for cupcake ideas today I came across a recipe for these groovy cupcakes. I immediately thought of Kristine and this thread

I wish I would have seen those sooner!! Very cool!

We spent the day dyeing...8 dozen eggs!! Bill was really getting into it...I kept saying to him..."try not to get dye all over" He says, "doesn't it wash right off" ummmm, like, NOOOOO. can't wait to go to Good Friday services tomorrow with him and his green hands!

Finally done baking. I made a devils food cholocate cake. actually 3 I had 3 aliminum bread pans so I poured the cake batter in them. that is cooling now. I also made cinnimaon swirl cup cakes. when everything is cool I am going to top them with vanilla icing that has choocolate chips in it.

Hi All,

Today I took my car in because the CHECK ENGINE SOON light came on last night.
Not just the Service with the little wrench, the BIG ONE. I got on the phone and called in and was able to get an appointment. I told them I had to be at work and the guy said the shuttle was going to be pretty busy. So I kinda jokingly said, "You could give me a loaner".
He told me to wait and then got back on the phone and said that there was one with my name on it.
So I got to drive a 2005 Saturn Ion. I love my Saturn SC2 Coupe but it is getting harder and harder to drive stick. My leg cramps up or goes numb when in long traffic jams. But this car has to last a while longer.
Thank goodness I had a coupon and saved a little $$

The Recreation Center that Steffy and I work at was closed today and tomorrow. I still went in because I knew it would be quiet and I could get a lot done. What was I thinking?
They have all day camp this week since the kids are off from school and it tends to get a little noisy with over 100 kids there. I tried to ignore the noise but it seems that everyone and their cousin still come inside even with the sign that says the office is CLOSED
And what am I going to do? Go back in tomorrow because I have a lot more to do.
But hey, I love my job and also my boss

Oh- you're killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My self-imposed no baking during Lent has REALLY tested my willpower! Thank goodness it is almost over!
But, I did lose a little weight across my tummy which was the goal now that swimsuit season is coming
Between the strawberry daquiri cupcakes and now the tiedie cupcakes, I'll probably gain it all back and then some! lol

Rees did well again last night. He did reflux a little at choir, but I gave him meds and he rebounded ok. Talked to the GI doc nurse this morning (she's been around since the beginning with Rees). She was going to see if we need to come see him on Tuesday or just go straight to the Surgeon. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.

Oh, and Rees has the 2nd half of his testing at the school tomorrow for his IEP. It's at 1pm, so if you can pray for calm, focused, attentive, happy, and cooperative, I'd appreciate it.

Continuing to lift up Rees and your family in prayer! Trust and know that God is holding your family in HIS hands - I can't think of a better place to be!!
