Looks I may be in for a bad night...my girls share a room...the oldest is at a sleepover. Kirsten has decided she's afraid to sleep alone. Mind you she has slept alone numerous times...she's already working herself up.."can I sleep in your bed" Bill didn't have a happy look on his face....I knew I was in trouble when he put on aftershave a little while ago...think he had other ideas. :teeth: Oh well...what's a mom to do?!

Whenever Cassidy is over at a sleep over Jim knows he gets to sleep on the couch...not sure what we'll do with Abi when Cassidy moves out to go to college. I am not sharing my bed with a high schooler!! She's a bed hog :teeth:

I modified one of my t-shirt designs for the 1000 post.

PresentingMK.jpg

It is my favorite design for myself. Pal Mickey and I will be wearing matching shirts for our Dec. trip. I might get Chuck into one as well.

Congrats on 1000! :cheer2:

That is the funniest thing. I swear I remember telling Steffy that Pal Mickey needed different clothes!!! I could get into making things for a Pal Minnie cause I used to sew for my DD when she was little and then would make things for her Barbie

My mother is the one that sewed, knit & crocheted all the American Girl and Barbie clothes. One of these days, I'll have to post pictures of Barbie World (well, it is kind of American Girl/Barbie World now). Seriously, we have a room for the girls to keep their American Girls and Barbies setup. When they were younger, we built a 10x10 half wall area in the basement because I got tired of the Barbies & accessories showing up all over the house. Once it was built, Barbies were only allowed in that area. They had three shelves all around the area. They had the different rooms set up and they would play with their Barbies. We dubbed it Barbie World. Last year, we wanted to have the space back for a ping pong table. Barbie World (which expanded to include the American Girls as well) could not be dismantled according to the girls (who were 16 & 19 at the time). That is the one part of their childhood they are not ready to let go. So, we had a little room in the basement where Chuck's sauna will go eventually. Barbie World moved into there.

I told the girls that it is their fault that I got into Pal Mickey so much. I don't have any dolls to buy clothes for anymore. I used to love birthday and Christmas shopping. So many cute things. They also have several Build-a-bear's. Kate and I were figuring it out the other day and we think Becky has 5. Kate has 2 I think she said and I have one. Mine used to travel with me but he is kind of big and hard to pack.

It is so funny that you also noticed the similiarities in our posts. I was thinking the same thing before you mentioned it. I always thought when I was younger and someone would say everyone has a twin somewhere on the planet that they meant in looks. Maybe they meant in personality because I think maybe we have found each other. On top of that, we both have two girls. How far apart are your two? Mine are almost three years. Katrina was born in September and Becky was born in July 3 years later.

My girls are exactly 4 years apart Cassidy will turn 14 on May 14th and Abi will be 10.

Since everyone is posting pics, I'd thought I'd share from our 2001 trip.

When I saw this pic, I knew he had finally fallen in love with Disney. It was one of the best photos the CM's took of us. They actually posed us like that.

Unfortunately, there are no wedding pictures to share. Why you ask? Hopefully he realizes that Disney is only 6 months away and it would be the perfect time to propose! Oh heck, who am I kidding...7 years this July 4th, I've quit hoping. :confused3

Nice photo. You two are so cute...

Oh Vicki I would love to tie dye a t for your pal mickey when I do one for mine!!! You'll just have to tell me where to get the shirts!!

They need t-shirts for 10-12" bears. There is a place on line that I found. They are $1.50 each - the first item is 5.95 in shipping and every additional item is 50 cents so I should order them all together. There are also some sweaters that I wanted from the same place. I'll order some and if Kate already has her tie-dye done, I'll send a white one to you for the dying.

I really hesitated posting about my Pal Mickey. I was afraid people would think I'm nuts. I should have realized you guys would help me feed my addiction & help me stay young!!!!

...I can see it now...Two suitcases for Kate and one for Pal Mickey. Don't forget the ME tag for his luggage!

You guys are killing me..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So we had an eventful day!! My husband is such a dweeb!! I found some already done, cute Easter boxes from Willy Wonka and asked him if we could get them...he said(in front of Abi, who still believes in the bunny) "Great, 12 less eggs for us to fill" :sad2:

Then I went to a purse party where Trista Sutter of Bachelor fame was the consultant(she has the personality of a wet noodle) and picked out a purse for Cassidy for a birthday present(I called and got his okay first) and he asks me in front of her if I got the purse I called him about!!

How did you manage that?

long story but the short one is Cassidy told us she was getting a baby sister for her birthday and she did!!

This is the site with t's that fit Pal Mickey if anyone else is interested. They also have some outfits that fit him. The outfits are the same ones that you can buy at JoAnn fabrics. I found some of the sweaters at Michael's. If you look at the pictures of my Pal, you'll see some of the outfits from this site.

I haven't ordered the t-shirts that are supposed to fit him but I've found them. What colors do you need me to order? I can order them and mail them to you. Can I keep the t's when you are done with them? Do I need to tie-dye one for him as well?

Okay..... Where did you find tshirts for Pal Mickey??? Mine is sitting here feeling rather neglected right now..... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I figured someone would be asking that question. I was posting this as you were typing yours!! The info is right above your post! If anyone is interested, there is a Pal Mickey Adult Club. That site is:

www.palmickey.net

Lots of cool pictures of different clothes on Pal Mickey. Also info on where you can find things that fit him. The only problem is that it isn't real clear on what fits & what doesn't sometimes. It was hard for me to get it down to the 10-12" bear size. After lots of research (and taking Pal Mickey with me to Joann's and Michael's), I found the right size.

O M G... I don't think I've laughed that hard in a while. The one with the nightgown on the bed had me running for the bathroom!!!

Where did you get the Happiest Celebration on earth shirt?? I want one for my Mickey!!! :smickey: :smickey: :mickeyjum
That is from the Disney Tales store in Downtown Disney. It is actually for a dog (shhh, don't tell Mickey). That is an extra small. I have to roll up the bottom a little bit but I actually like the look on him.

If you like the one on his bed, wait until you see my new purchase. I was at Target the other day looking for accessories for him. I found the coolest folding bed for him. It looks alot like mine that I use when I am at Girl Scout camp. The theme for the blanket is ice cream. I just had to buy it. I haven't gotten it setup yet but I'll post pictures when I get it done. I needed a portable bed for him so he can come to camp with me. The girls at camp will love him. I usually have my Tiggers, my build-a-bear, and my panda with me when I go to camp. Pal Mickey will fit right in. Now he needs his own sleeping bag and tent.

And yes, I'm obsessed!!! Nuts too! But it is a fun nuts!!!

It is time for this night owl to go to bed....We are going to try and go to early service tommorow which means getting all our hineys out of bed and in the car by 8:30 and I haven't been sleeping well.

Night all!! Hope everybody's Sunday is restful!!

Men!!!! They just don't get it!!! Then when you talk to them about it later, their like "Well, I didn't know!" Duh! After all the talks we have about things like this, you should! Did Cassidy or Abi catch on?! Or were they zoned out thinking about something else hopefully.
