Yes, Soarin is included. EE is coming once it opens regularly and he can see how the patterns work. I'd say that for a Nov trip it will be all there.

Thanks Tia - I guess I'll be signing up again... and buying this year's unoffical guide even though I've read the old ones a hundred times!!

Planning is a big part of the fun right? :thumbsup2

I just wanted to say thank you to the DIS and the DDA for fueling my Disney addiction, my Diet Coke addiction, allowing me to have a place to celebrate and cry without being judged, and giving me a home away from home. This is a wonderful group of women and men, and I'm proud to be a DDA! I love you all very much.

Now, on to 10,000!

Congratulations! Great speech Denise - love the photo too - did you actually drink all of that??

Okay here is my trip down memory lane

So nice to see, Kate. I like the one of you and Julia and the baby after Nick was born too.

Maybe I will need to go through all my pictures and see what I can come up with. If I post for the last 33 years I may hit 5000 pages on my own :rotfl:

It's quiet here. Must be family night for everyone. :thumbsup2
I just wanted to say thanks for help with my avatar too!

I received my Disney catalog today. I swear the designers are coming to this board for ideas. They now have "Disney Couture" and other similar designs that I've seen before...

When I was in college at Kent, my roomate and I learned to "stack" everything. We had a wall of milk crates that became bookshelves, TV holder, storage for CD's and movies... You'd be suprised at how much stuff can fit into a dorm room. Alot of the newer ones though are much bigger now. Kent just had dorms built with a dorm room then connecting door to bathroom then connecting door to another dorm room; wireless access, every 10 rooms has a common room that shares a kitchen area...must be nice.

Well I'm off to cook dinner!

Looks great :thumbsup2 Glad it worked :goodvibes

Our first year "dorms" at uni were self contained flats - 5 rooms (including a vanity sink), one shower, one toilet and a kitchen to share.

In my final year I lived in a student village - owned by an outside company - they were houses with three floors - downstairs was a large kitchen and living room and then there were three bedrooms and a bathroom on each of the upper two floors.

The rooms were pretty small - a single bed, a wardrobe and a desk... but it is amazing the amount of stuff you could cram into them :rotfl:

I promised some photos earlier so dh and I took a stroll down memory lane tonight. It was very nice as my parents took all 3 boys for a sleepover at their house tonight. So here goes my little stroll down memory lane with a disney time line:
Deb I loved seeing your pictures! Thanks for posting them. What fun memories you have.

Wow! This is fun. We pretty much know what everyone's kids look like now, but it's nice to see them when they were smaller.

That is seriously ABSURD - I would tell him if he wants to pay him that is fine but you will not be splitting the cost as you know someone who will do it for free!!

Jo, I completely agree with Kate!

Told you I've created a monster! Don't worry, the novelty will wear off and I won't bore you with pictures quite so much. :)
I love seeing pictures. Keep 'em coming!

Hi Elin. I got up early for nothing. Soccer is canceled. Go figure.

I figured it would be... it is yucky out there. I, on the other hand, got up because my lessons are not canceled! :) I teach this a.m. and then am getting my hair "foiled" late this a.m. Tomorrow we are headed to Richmond to see "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" at VCU.

Kristin is the head dresser for this main stage production and says it is wonderful. We know she would rather be on the stage than backstage, but she has found this task to be mostly enjoyable and appreciates better what goes on behind the scenes to make her look good when she is acting.

Kathrin will meet us and go to the show and then the 4 of us are going out to dinner. I love that my kids are within 10 minutes of one another!

Denise congratulations on post 5000! Love your picture too!

Ours in now, they go back on the 17th.

I think I can answer this... When you upgrade from a hopper to an AP the first day you used the hopper is the initial day of your AP. So, if your first day is December 17, your AP would be valid through midnight December 17, 2007. Also, I do believe they will apply the entire cost of your hopper towards the cost of the AP.

Hope I got this right!

How much is an AP currently? And does it include water park entry?

I have a hair appt Thurs evening and cannot wait to get it done. It needs to be 'touched up' in the worst way.

Have an enjoyable evening tonight with your family.

I am quite pleased with myself right now. I took a photo (non-digital) that was taken of me, my son and my daughter at Innoventions about 5 years ago and scanned it in (new with the scanner), then downloaded software that allowed me to resize it (never did that before) and then made it into my new avatar and it worked!!!

Cool! Nice to "see" you!

Here you go, Clare. Basically, Delta has filed for bankruptcy protection. They have some meeting on April 18th, I believe, and depending what happens, the pilots could strike. If they do strike, analysts are saying that would be the end of Delta, and they would immediately stop flying. Here are some articles on what you can do if you hold delta tickets.

http://www.mousesavers.com/delta.html

http://news.cincypost.com/apps/pbcs...EWS01/603070361

quote:

Tips for travelers who hold tickets on Delta Air Lines or Comair for travel during the next month or who may be considering traveling during that time:

Use credit cards to pay for tickets. If the flight is canceled because of labor disruption, you can dispute the charges with the credit card company and then rebook on another flight.

Know your rights. If you demand it, an airline that cancels a flight because of a labor action must provide a full refund. Otherwise, the airline must try to rebook you on another airline for a $50 fee.

Be open to other options. It could be hard initially to get a flight on another airline directly out of Cincinnati, which doesn't have much service other than Delta and Comair. And the flights out of CVG are already full, you would be on the bottom of the list for standby. So if possible, be flexible and prepared to travel to one of the five surrounding airports.

Travel insurance. You can protect your trip against a strike only for flights exclusively on Delta. That's because travel insurance companies stopped protecting against a Comair strike because of the positive strike authorization vote, which made the risk a known quantity. And the Delta pilots are expected to return their strike authorization vote on April 4. As for a policy against full financial default by Delta and/or Comair, it's too late. The companies' bankruptcy filings made such an event a known risk as well.
