I've been waking up a lot at night and I'm one of those people that require lots of sleep. This morning I forgot to turn my car off before I pumped my gas. I don't know what the risk is, but I know you're not supposed to do that.

I think your car would blow up!!!

I didn't realize you're not supposed to use cell phones while you're pumping gas. My mom called me and I couldn't get off the phone with her so I just started pumping my gas. The lady inside called me through the speaker and told me I couldn't do it. I had no idea it was dangerous!

LOL, make him stop. The lady was NOT happy with me. Evidently it's pretty dangerous.

ETA: I think both scenarios have something to do with sparks igniting the gas.

Although we always agreed we would NEVER go in August - too hot and crowded -

how would it be around August 21

and then the whole dilemma would be if we would pay for Nick or not - I guess I would and just not use his ticket - and save it for another trip - since his dining would be free - it would be silly not to add him on!!

Kate - I've been in late August twice recently (I'm also a late August b-day). If you can prepare yourself for the heat, I've never thought the crowds were that bad - a lot of schools have already begun to go back. It's just that heat and humidity that are hard - and I grew up in Houston - I know my heat! You just forget that you begin sweating the moment you step outside, you have no appetite, etc.

Hey, with that no appetite issue - that will make free dining quite a deal for WDW!

I love late August if you must go in the summer as southern schools have started back so the crowds are lower. The problem is the heat and the hurricanes. That being said I wouldn't hesitate to do August again.

I'm off to bed as I have to be at the bowling alley tomorrow at 8 am.
