HMMMM...well, I bought my first pair of knock-offs from Walmart...they weren't too comfortable for me. At least for my left. I would like to get a pair of Croc Caymans...I hope they fit better than the walmart ones. Ecspecially since the are 4x more expensive.

Kristine

The Walmart knockoffs didn't seem as comfortable to me either. I ended up not buying them. I like the Payless knockoffs. I want to get some of the real things but couldn't afford it before this last trip.

I got the professional crocs and they are okay. I haven't tried the Caymans yet. I don't like the walmart ones. I actually prefer the Payless ones over my professional crocs. My real crocs broke 1 day after I got them. They sent me a bag of rivet things.

Everyone thinks I am strange because I have 6 different color/style pairs, they think I have some weird fetish..okay maybe I do...

I have three pairs of beach crocs and they are soooo much more comfortable than the Wal-mart ones. The ones at Pay-Less Shoes seems to be a little better than the Wal-mart ones. I think they run about $15.00. My mom was going to buy the ones at Wal-mart till she tried mine on and she said no way. The real crocs are softer and conform to your foot much better.

I know what you mean...I have sage, butter & navy colored...I think I am going to pick up the caymans today. Bill thinks I have an "Imelda Marcos" complex!! :rotfl2:

I have never looked at the Payless ones. I may just go out and buy the caymans later.

I have been watching for October too - I check everyday - so I will post for you when they come out!!

Which reminds me - I need to go check now - Sept. came out about a month ago so I would say any day now!!

Tammi, Jennifer, Julia and Kate --Thanks for the info. We will book as soon as prices drop and I bet that will be as soon as Airtrain releases their dates. We rented DVC points for a 1BR BWV for this trip. Easy access to Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival :thumbsup2

Kids, ya gotta love them. My oldest son has Asthma.
During his childhood he only ended up in the hospital once. Now he is almost 35 years old and has ended up in the hospital three times in the past ten years. It usually was when he did too much getting ready for something special or was already sick with a cold and it just got worse.
He is still too stubborn to admit he just cannot go places where there is a lot of smoke. Apparently he has been feeling not up to par and was wheezing a little and then decided to go to a concert. Well,,,,,,,,,,today he is in the hospital and on an IV and breathing treatments and they also have him on oxygen with moisture. We expect him to be out by Tuesday or Wednesday.
I will go to see him tomorrow when he is feeling better and can talk without coughing.

Steffy,,,,glad to hear you are feeling better. And that you are not walking around at home!!!! :teeth:

Poor baby!!! Give him hugs and kisses from Auntie Stephanie :grouphug: :grouphug:

And yes, I'm in bed. My DD just looks at me and says, how am I getting to New York??? I can drive, I'm taking my computer so I'll have things to do while I'm at the hotel. It will be fine.

See, when this happened at WDW, I just rented an ECV. No ECV's in NYC. Oh well. I'm going to get better. I'm going to get better... :yay:

Yes as long as you are following the DR's orders you should be ok. You are stubborn tho :lmao:

I just checked out Payless shoes.
They have Croc knock-offs.
They call them Air-walks.
$14.99 I love the multi-color 1's.
I'll have to check out the stores.
As I have very little feet.
I wear a size 6 kids.
Kids shoes are cheaper, but I always have trouble finding adult looking 1's.
Although I would love a pair of the light up tennies. :lmao:

ME TOO!! I want light-up Princess tennies! But I wear an adult size 8, so doubt I'll find them.

I bought baby blue Sketchers (which my mom calls Skeeeechers, but that's a diff story), with a snazzy silver glitter strip up the sides, and walked around pointing them out to people for weeks.

Speaking of Crocs...

I bought some at the end of last summer but have never worn them. I'm packing them for our cruise next week, so was wearing them around the aparto this morning. Does that strap around the ankle eventually loosen? Right now it is shoving my foot into the front of the shoe so my toes are getting jammed. Meanwhile, there's a half inch of space between the strap and back of the shoe. What to do?

How do you think the t-shirt designs would fare in the ocean water? Because I'm so fair, I always wear a white t-shirt when we snorkel. I'd much rather wear a new t-shirt with a spiffy design than something plain or something I already own. Do you think the salt water would loosen the image? I suppose I could always try it and see...

What's the worst that could happen... I'd have to make a replacement shirt! Wouldn't that be too bad!!

This little guy reminds me of Jack Jack from The Incredibles. :furious:

We watched that movie again the other night. I love it! I always find new details to amaze me. How do they do that with animation?! We saw the movie on some spiffy TV in Sharper Image and were blown away by how great the water and everything looks on a high-end TV. But it still looks amazing on our low-end TV.

DBF, the Nascar fan, can't wait for Cars to be released in June. Yes, we will be there opening night.

Come to think of it, I should make us some Cars shirts!

I've already tried the nail polish remover. Didn't work. If I find some baby oil I will try that. Then I'm going with the toothpaste, but I think I'm all outta baby wipes.

MidNite - When would you be going? Would it be while Kate, Marti, Kristine and I are there? How exciting to get an unexpected trip!! Oh the fun you will have with your kids, especially since it will be all new to the younger ones.
God willing, we'll be going from April 20 - 22 offsite then April 22 - 29 at Fort Wilderness. When do you gals plan on being there?? I'm about to go make some ADR's :)

This is from the crocs website: "To insure that the strap is not pulling your foot into the front of the shoe, rotate the strap forward and determine if your foot rests comfortably in the foot bed and there is room all around your foot. If so, you have the proper size but the strap is too short. To alleviate this issue, work your fingers around the strap and stretch it as you go around being careful not to put excessive pressure on the rivet hole. Stretch the strap until it is just short of the back edge of the shoe. The resin material has memory and will stay at the proper length after one or two of these types of adjustments."

Hope that helps...

Kristine

Have you done Fort Wilderness before? I have always thought about it...but have never done it.

I just got back home and stopped at the store, I picked up 2 t-shirts with pockets for DH and was thinking of putting adesign on the pocket for him so any designers our there up for the challenge??
We will be on the Magic cruise May/June so really need to get design deciding and printing and ironing!!!!
