The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 4

We are staying at All Star Movies, but we have debated on changing it because of Pop Warner. We have never stayed at a Value Resort before, but after 3 trips in 3 years we just can't swing anything else. Besides we are never in our room, so its hard to justify spending SO much money every year!!! Maybe every other year!!! I think that the kids are going to love ASMo, and I have heard a lot of great reviews. Does anyone have a preference in ASMo or Pop???

I'll be interested to hear what you decide. If we go next year for our 10th it will either be at Pop or ASMo... we're leaning towards Pop so we don't have to share a bus.

Have you found anything out about cheerleading???

I found a place right down the street from us that has classes once a week for preschoolers - 8 week sessions are $135

there are no competitions or uniforms - definately a better option!!

and now we can get her whatever color uniform she wants!!!!!

I bet she is SO excited!!! When does she start?? Carli asks me everyday how long it is before she is starting cheerleading!!!

Tonight we(Cassidy and I) are off to a taping of Wheel of Fortune! A friend of mine had extra tickets so we get to go!! I have never been to the taping of a national show....some local ones...even participated in one.....so this should be fun!!

We love the show and watch it often - hope you enjoyed.

Last time we did a value, we stayed at ASMo... if was cute...the kids liked the pool a lot. Pop wasn't open back then. What would you change to if you did?

Well we are booked at ASMo, I have thought about changing to Pop (just because of Pop Warner). I have also thought about changing to one of the moderates, although if I had my choice I would be going back to the Polynesian again!!!!

I'm so happy!!!! We might be going next month to WDW!

It depends on if this big job we're in the middle of pays us in time to do it. I'm so excited! I haven't been in two years and my DS2 hasn't ever been (unless you count when I was expecting him). My DS3 doesn't remember much from the two times he's been at 9 months and abt. 18 months. My DD10 has been about 10 times ....

Our plan stands like this for the moment:

Drive down (13-14 hours depending on stops) and stay offsite for two nights to recover from the drive, relax, and do DTD. Then we check into the Cabins at FTW for 7 nights. Oh the planning I have to do! And I loooooooove the planning.

So guess what I have to start doing now!? Making shirt designs!!

So, anyone have any suggestions or tips for us?

I'm so thrilled. Gosh I hope they pay us on time or it'll be September before we can make it.

We're back to POR again- DH loved it there. We never get a car- DH has a 70 mile commute (1 way) each day so when we are on vacation, he does not want to drive!

We stayed at POR in Oct. and we really enjoyed it. It was alot of walking though!!!

I am having a very proud mom moment. Kyle is in Cub scouts and tonight was the pine-wood derby. Out of over 60 kids Kyle won !!!
I am SO excited for him, and he was SO excited that he was shaking!!! This means SO much to him, he has such a hard time fitting into things because of his disability!!! In the final round all of the cub scouts in his den were chanting "Kyle -Kyle- Kyle" he was SO excited and proud of himself!!! I could not be any prouder!!! He is still walking around on !!!!

YAY Kyle!!! That's great news!!!

we were in the car on the way home discussing heroes and Julia said - do you want to know who my heroes are?

Mommy and Daddy!! of course I cried!!!

How did you like the Poly? This will be our first time there. Last time we stayed at the Contemporary...which I have mixed feeling about.

I think that we will really enjoy it too. Whenever we go on vacation anywhere else we just like to drive around and explore a little, at Disney I feel like I see nothing. I don't have the slightest idea of how to get to anywhere in Disney (that's not saying much though because I never pay attention to where I am going when I'm not driving). I will love not having to wait for buses either!!!

Now if only I could find cheap airfare, when do they start going lower-or do they for December???
