Here's one I have been working on for Kyle to wear on the plane. It is inspired by one of MidNite's designs. I keep feeling like it is missing something- any suggestions?

we were in the car on the way home discussing heroes and Julia said - do you want to know who my heroes are?

I am having a very proud mom moment. Kyle is in Cub scouts and tonight was the pine-wood derby. Out of over 60 kids Kyle won !!!
I am SO excited for him, and he was SO excited that he was shaking!!! This means SO much to him, he has such a hard time fitting into things because of his disability!!! In the final round all of the cub scouts in his den were chanting "Kyle -Kyle- Kyle" he was SO excited and proud of himself!!! I could not be any prouder!!! He is still walking around on !!!!

DH still has his pinewood derby car that he won with back in the day! How exciting!!!!!!!

Oh yes! It just isn't really my birthday until I've heard Elvis sing Viva Las Vegas when they play all his movies in a marathon that day!

My mom went to high school with a girl who played his love interest in one movie. Now, which one was it..... Blue Hawaii? Innocent looking blonde girl? I'll have to call my mom and ask her.

We had a horrible rain storm here that night (after I made it to the hall, thank goodness!!) OHare was shut down, the Ohare Hilton gave our room away since we were a late check in and we had a 7am flight to Orlando on the 17th!!

DH still has his pinewood derby car that he won with back in the day! How exciting!!!!!!!

The little trophy that he got is SO cool. The actual rocket that they made stands up in the trophy. He asked me if I would bring it to school to show everyone on Monday!!!

Does anyone have any good secrets for getting markers off of skin??? Nicholas and Alyssa decided to color their palms, as well as the inside of their fingers today, with what is supposed to be washable markers. Needless to say, it isn't coming off.

WD-40 spray a little on their hands.
Have them rub their hands together real good.
Then wash them with soap & water.

Degreaser also works well.
It drys my hands out.
So I don't used it much.

I get into stuff like this all the time @ work.
Works good with sticky glues also.

So did you have a disney honeymoon?? I remember it was SO hot that day and it rained briefly right before our ceremony (which I'm told is good luck). We did have an awful storm the next day but we were already gone on our honeymoon (not at Disney, we hadn't caught the bug yet-I wish we had now though).
