How do your 10 and 5 year olds get along? There will be 5 years between Christopher and this baby and I worry all of the time that I've waited too long :(.

They are both girls...my middle one is a boy. They get along very well & are very close to each other. They have always shared a bedroom. When Katie got to be 9 we asked her if she wanted her own room. I thought she would jump at it (we were going to give her my DH's office) but she said no, she didn't want to be without her sister. She said she likes to talk to her at night & say prayers together before they go to sleep. They fight like any normal kids would do but they do love each other..I wouldn't worry at all about the 5 year difference. The only time I find that it sometimes gets tricky in situations like when my 10 year old wants to see an "tweenie" movie which my 5 year old would have no interest in..then I have to make sure we take her & her brother to a younger movie to even things out.

OK..just one more AP question, I promise! :teeth: ..does anyone know if if there is ever an AP rate for a concierge level stay?

I have a terrible time keeping up with this thread with work etc, but I try to read a little bit every day to keep up with how people are. I don't chime in as much as I used to, because I am not always sure what it going on.

Hi everybody :wave2: .

Hi Melanie :wave2:

Feel free to chime in anytime. We don't know what is going on either but that doesn't stop us :rotfl:

Ok I have a nomination for DH of the year over here...
I came to bed still not feeling well. My head is pounding. My DH comes in & gives me his work lap top so I can "DIS" in bed. He knows this cheers me up. Aaaahhhhhhhh!

Nope, for scrapbook pages, I am going to start requiring pictures:rotfl: because we know that she knows how to post and she has an adorable little one that we want to see pictures of!!!!
Ah...good idea.

Ok - it's relatively quiet on here now. I'm heading to bed so please, please, please don't go crazy again like the past few nights.

I just got home from work. Only 26 pages to read to catch up. Woo Hoo, but then again the way you've all posted the last couple of nights I'll never catch up. Going back to page 1136 now.

Seriously, I had over 50 folders...of course there was one for him too!

I'd also like to state that most of the actors I had a crush on, matured into very good-looking 30 and 40-year-olds. Matt Dillon is finer than ever!!!!

Amy :)

AMEN!!

I'm way back on page 1116. I don't know if the oldest has been crowned yet, but I graduated in 1962 and got married 11 days later.

Give that lady a tiara...

So I go to work for 8 hours and you have made 20 pages of posts. I see we are definitely back in posting mode. I doubt I will keep up this weekend but will try.

Yes, definitely. And it's usually really good. Lives4Disney on the GF thread always snags an AP rate for the GF, RPC and SugarLoaf. I've seen posts for all resorts for an AP rate at the Concierge level.

You're so obnoxious. You were supposed to get back to me with dates on Sunday...remember, after Steve got home from the park with Julia! :teeth:

I haven't checked with Kevin yet, but that date looks good from my perspective.

Amy :)

:teeth:

I know I didn't check with him until today - but since you were irritated that I only commented on one of your posts - I thought I would feign indignance that you failed to answer a post dreictly asking you a question!!!

Oooh! That's pretty! Does it have 2 or 3 rows in it?

The second row is 2 captains chairs and the third row is a bench seat. But the third row has more leg room than the second row of my Durango. This thing is a monster!! :goodvibes

That is by far the BEST movie in EVER! How can you go wrong when the cast includes: C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, and Tom Cruise. Leif Garrett is in it too, but I never had a "thing" for him (and drugs did nothing to help his aging process!).

Jennifer, if you haven't seen this movie, I'm going to make you watch it!!!

Amy :)

Have you seen the new DVD release? There is a w/ commentary option with Macchio, Howell, Swayze and Lane together at Copallas ranch amd Dillon adding in from somewhere else. They all look SO good.

Sounds to me like Tinkerbell!!!

Speaking of Tinkerbell, Have any of you read Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. It is really good book and is a prequel to Peter Pan. It explains how Peter meets Cap'n Hook and Smee and how Tinkerbell comes to be. It also explains how Hook lost his hand and many other things. I recommend you read it.

And John is so awesome. He said, $250 to change tickets and losing the free dining is not even worth mentioning if it is better for Rees. What a great husband and daddy!

I think I see a DDA Husband of the Day recipient!!

Ok..to catch up:

Cinderumbrella: (Sorry, I don't know your name! I'm gonna have to start a cheat sheet!) Do you have room to leave the crib up after you set up his new bed? That helped my friends son for the first week.

Our plan of attack is to take the crib down (it needs to come apart to fit through the door) and not put it back up. It's kind of a cold turkey thing.
The furniture has been on order for 10 weeks and he was with us when we picked it out. We recently painted his room to match the new stuff- which he was really exicted about. 2 weeks ago we went to order a mattress- which he knew was for his "big boy room" and all week I have been telling him that is is coming and the crib is going bye-bye. He seems OK with it- so everyone PLEASE keep your fingers crossed that it goes OK! :thumbsup2
