The boys are glued to the TV watching Jingle All The Way. Garrett loved this movie when he was younger, apparently he still does. It is so sweet to see him still enjoying these movies

The front of the house is decorated. I want to get the tree up today so that I don't have to get it out of the garage tomorrow if the weather is bad. I also want to start baking some Christmas cookies.

I used to make Spritz cookies all the time but haven't made them in years. I decided this was the year since we would be around for the holidays. Now I can't find my electric cookie gun! Must be with my missing Christmas tree and Becky's ____ (fill in the blank since I just went brain dead here!). So, I stopped at a kitchen shop on my way home from dress rehearsal and bought a manual one. I hope it doesn't kill me!!!

Janet - I am doing enough laundry for both of us. I have about 4 more loads to go. I also want to wash our fleece Mickey jackets so they will be nice and fresh. DH put up a new liner for our shower curtain and scrubbed the tub, then he told me he shouldn't have to do anything else today because he "cleaned the bathroom". Apparently the sink, toilet, and floor are part of the bedroom now? I hope they can bring your washer tomorrow!

Kristine - I doubt I would be able to remember where I put the gadget, so I would write on a piece of paper with the intention of putting it in the gadget when I found it. Bill's way is probably easier.

Elizabeth - at least he did that much! Bob's idea of helping out around the house is wiping at the top of the stove and taking the garbage out twice a week.

He took the trash out this morning, and he changed the cat litter. But he COULD have been a bit more helpful since he is OFF today and I have to work tonight. We are leaving in 11 days, which means the house has to be clean enough for the pet sitter to come in. We leave bowls of water in both bathrooms and the kitchen for the cats, so the bathroom needs to be really clean, NOT just the tub! He is off next Saturday, too. I guess I will make him clean it then.

Then there is the issue of putting the list on the counter and leaving it there. I do that at work all the time. Luckily I have a decent memory!

I think I told you guys I have a gadget fetish (I love them) well, here's the new one: electronic grocery list. You press the button, speak the item and it automatically puts it on a list. Then you can print the list out when you go shopping. I think it's cool. Bill on the other hand told me I was crazy "and what's wrong with a pen & paper" <sigh> he just doesn't understand

Karen I hope you see this nurse the day of your surgery. What a wonderful way of going to sleep talking about Disney

i forgot to tell you guys that when i was registering at the hospital the nurse that was taking us around asked if i liked disney and if i had every been. i said yes and started a conversation about disney world. she said she had always asked her husband to go and take her. for their 30 wedding anniversary he took her and now they go every year and they have dvc. so i am hoping i see her before surgery and see if she can go in with me while they are putting me asleep so we can talk disney world and i can stay calm.

They have all kinds of Disney perfume at out local Kmart, but I didn't bother to smell any of it.
