I am looking forward to it...we are so used to the dining plan..it will be an interesting change.

Us too, the DDP is just way too much food. We are not doing it in April or August.

I like the DDE card a lot. We paid for it already just using it at V&A.

I know that after this trip, with the changes in the dining plan, we won't be doing it again. I'll be buying the DDE.

Since you're staying at Saragtoga you should try the Turf Club. The food was wonderful. Don't forget to look up my favorite dream team member AR at MGM. Maybe she can make a dream happen for you too.


I wrote a letter last night to WDW on her behalf. Would someone care to proofread it for me?

The menu didn't turn Bill on much either...but we are doing the Sunset Safari and it includes dinner there...so hopefully it will be OK.

Mmmmm. Kona! We loooovvvve Kona! Spoodles & Flying Fish are on my "to do" list. Citrico's was very good. We will probably go back there. Hopefully there won't be a malfunction of the sprinklers next time so we can order food from the grill. There was recently a very good review of Artist Point on AllEars. We liked Jiko, but it didn't blow us away. We don't drink wine, and once the waiter realized that he really lost interest in us. And since Chef Grey isn't there anymore I don't know if the quality/variety is still as good as it was before. We really liked Wolfgang Puck's at DTD, too.
If there was any way I could make the Deluxe dining plan actually SAVE us money I would do it in a heartbeat. But we'll come out WAY better going OOP with DDE.

I know that after this trip, with the changes in the dining plan, we won't be doing it again. I'll be buying the DDE.

Even if they offered "free" dining again I would only do it if we could get the reduced price Deluxe plan.

Has anyone tried 1900 Park fare since the rehab? I have that on our list for April but not sure if I should change. Right now I do not know what park we will be at on that day.

The dinner reviews are bad. Apparently breakfast is OK, but the stepmother & stepsisters are only there at dinner. The characters are supposed to be FABULOUS at dinner, but the food is getting slammed.

I am trying to figure out ADR's myself for June...we are staying at AKL concierge...and the 180 mark opens in just a few days. I think we will not do the dining plan this trip and just eat less table service...

When are you there in June? We are there June 6-14 with my mom, sister, niece, nephew, Chuck & the girls. I want us to do a couple of grand gathering events while we are there. Chuck wants to rent a pontoon boat to take us all out.

Wilderness Lodge is one place we didn't get to during Christmas last year. We pretty much made it every where else. I'll make sure we get there this year.

this is the first time Olivia actually went near him by herself. last year we went after coming back from wdw and she was still scared.

I thought that was what you meant! I thought that you guys had already done the Sunrise. Or was it a behind the scenes tour? Of course things are always changing, I wanted to make sure there wasn't some sort of EXTENDED safari that left at sunrise and brought you back for dinner!

I will have to book a night or 2 of concierge one of these trips so we can do Sunrise safari, since my plan to try to worm my way in last time didn't work.
