So where is Bernadette? I need to know all about her trip!
I'm here! You know I don't like to post without catching up.
So...I'm caught up but I really need to go to bed. Here's some

and

for all until I get a chance to respond some other time.
We had a wonderful trip. The weather couldn't have been better. Definately the best weather I have ever had at Disney. It was warm enough during the day for shorts but I mostly wore jeans as I didn't know if we would make it back to the resort to change at night. I was cold just one night when all I had with me was a hoodie that was made out of t-shirt material-too light. It was the coldest night.
The castle was VERY magical! Osborne lights were much better than last year-I'm sure part of that was because the crowds were lighter this year but I think they were more extensive too. Lizzy was a real trooper. I did get her a stroller on Monday night it was actually free but I would have paid for it. We started that day at AK arriving about 8:30. Went to MGM and ended the night at Epcot. I knew Lizzy could not make it around the world showcase and out of the park and all the way to the Pop bus stop and still walk to the room. The stroller worked perfectly and I was able to put my bag on it so I was happy too.
That was the day that we met up with Debbie and Richie. She was so sweet. She brought really nice Mardi Gras beads for Lizzy AND for Halley AND Emma and Joe. We saw a few characters as we headed for Safari. We saw Gov Ratcliffe for the first time and Meeko for the 2nd time - haven't seen him since Jan 2004. Safari was changed from 30 to 40 min wait as we walked up but it was less than a 20 minute wait. I really wish they would drop the Little Red story line and go slow enough for picture taking. Then the others waited while Lizzy & I did Kali with no wait. We only got a little wet much to Lizzy's dismay. We then survived Everest. Lizzy screamed the entire ride. I've never heard her scream like that-she had a blast. It was a great morning. As Ralph was taking our photo I noticed my camera looked funny. I had lost a part of my lens hood on the ride. I tried lost and found at the ride twice, at the park entrance and again today at the main lost and found with no luck. I called Sony today and the part is only $6.95 (plus $6.95 for shipping

).
I discovered the "twilight portrait" mode on my camera did a great job on the night time photos.
I'll upload more photos later but I really must go to bed. Our flight was delayed Tuesday night and we didn't get home til midnight. I wasn't happy with Jet Blue in Orlando. The agent at the main JB desk was quite rude when I asked why our flight was 2 hrs 20 min delayed. She claimed it was weather. I said I just spoke to someone in Boston and they said the weather was fine and Logan had no delays. She said it was weather between MCO & Logan. I asked why no other flights to the Northeast were delayed and she said some flight to Newark was. I said that doesn't explain why all the others are on time. She just brushed me off. I asked her how confident they were in the 7:20 departure and she said it could leave at any time that we should go sit at the gate. I asked Ralph to see if he could get any answers. He spoke to a supervisor who also told him it was weather. He went back with me and asked for the supervisor again as I wanted to know why no other airline had "weather" problems and the agent moaned and after a long time finally called the supervisor who finally admitted that the 9am flight out of Logan had a mechanical problem and that through the whole day off.
JB has this "customer creed" thing now where they compensate you for a delay over 1 hour. She said it was a delay over 3 hours. How could a supervisor not know the "creed"? She said we would NOT be compensated. We went to the gate and finally got at least sympothetic agents but they also said we would not be compensated because our flight was delayed due to a late arrival. I was NOT happy. I didn't want to make a scene there and get kicked off the flight so I decided I would call today. So I called today gave my flight number and confirmation number. The agent put me on hold for a few minutes and came back and said "I see that your flight was delayed due to a mechanical problem earlier in the day. We will credit both you and Elizabeth $50 each." I am happy with that outcome but I think I will still write to Jet Blue to complain about the treatment in Orlando. They definately wanted me to think it wasn't worth the call for the credit. The gate agents finally confirmed that the plane that we were taking back to Logan had left Logan and that the 7:20 departure time was very firm. We ended up arriving in Boston too late to take the boat home. Luckily Dorinda's sons (22 & 17) drove in to pick us up.
I let Lizzy sleep in today. She worked on her homework today and will go to school tomorrow. She still has not finished it all. She had to read 2 books and do essays on those and the trip and had about 15 pages of math homework. She only missed 3 days of school.
I was sick for most of my trip. I think I slept less than 2 hours my first night. I finally got up around 2am and took a long hot shower and that seemed to clear me up enough to sleep a little bit. I had taken cold meds but they didn't do too much. I bought cough syrup the next day in the gift shop and slept a bit better the next night. For most of the trip I could hardly talk. Poor Emma sounds just like me today. She has had this cold for longer than I have.
We didn't have any major issues like last Dec but enough minor things that I'm not in a rush to travel with anyone (except Mary K - we travel great together) for a long while. Dorinda couldn't understand why Lizzy would want to see Wishes twice in the same trip. She wanted to leave MK just before they were going to start. I told her I would see her back at Pop that we were staying. Ralph stayed with us. We sat down on a bench after Wishes and enjoyed watching the castle all lit up with those lights. She seemed really annoyed when we got to the room "SO LATE" (9:30). Then the next night I left her and Ralph at MGM while Lizzy & I Epcot for Illuminations. Lizzy had never seen it. We again let the crowd disperse while we took in the atmosphere. When we got to the room she said "where have you been? what time did the park close?"
The crowds were pretty heavy on the weekend but I'm sure Debbie is having a great time now as they were really light on Tuesday.
I'm really looking forward to my January trip. I'm pretty sure the crowds will be very light.
Wish I could do more of a trip report but I really MUST get to bed.
