I think it was the weekend that so many of us were in WDW...

It happened a couple of weekends ago.

Tia because I know Jim and Phil are very similar-

Jim, who hasn't EVER wanted a supervisory position, had his half year review last Friday and was told that next year there will be a couple of supervisor positions opening up and he came home excited. The fact that he thinks he'll be there next year AND wants to move up in the company made me me do the happy dance.

That's great! I hope he maintains his enthusiasm and is able to promote up next year!!

I think I forgot to say how cool all of the costumed DDA kidlets look.

It looks like it was a pretty good day throughout the DDA.

I just checked the Family Fun website. There are 15 pages of original costumes since I posted ours a few days ago I keep voting, but I don't think there is a snowballs chance in WDW that we will win

Of course some of those costumes are not original. There are several John Deere costumes on one page and that missing dog one has been done for years. I wonder how they will actually choose. Is it purely by votes or originality or something in between.

I will have to try those and let you know how they come out. Maybe tinkerbell I plan to make some disney pot holders for my kitchen and either a tablecloth or table runner so those kinda go right along with it.

Well, I was going to catch up, but you all got post-happy tonight and I'm tired. So, I'll post my pics and then catch up tomorrow. Our night was a little hectic. First, my dad was an hour late getting home so we didn't get to the mall until 6:20 (trick-or-treating was 5-7). Over half of the stores were out of candy by the time we got there. Erin ran out of goody bags at Chick-Fil-A before we arrived and out of film (thus the cow left) before we got done trick-or-treating. Apparently, the neighborhood was very light on tick-or-treaters so I guess we should have stayed here and gone out for the good stuff.

Our pumpkins - Terra's green/orange one is supposed to be a picture of me and mine is supposed to be a picture of her. She drew the picture of me on paper and I transferred it to the pumpkin. then she added hair and lots of freckles with black marker though you can't see it very well here.

A visit from The Great Pumpkin. The Great Pumpkin visited and left a present in exchange for most of her candy. This was a first for us and it went over really well with Terra, which made me really happy because most of the candy she got was crapola that I don't really want her eating much of.
