french dip sandwiches with the provolone and sauteed onions and au jaus.

Probably veggies in there too. :rotfl:

Yum. There's a really good recipe for french dip sandwiches on the What's for Dinner thread! I'm thinking about doing them sometime next week. Alan loved french dip!

Flintstones is my fave, then Scooby Doo and then Jetsons. They don't make them like they used to.

We love having the Boomerang channel....Abi just love Tom & Jerry. I gotta say Flintstones and Jetsons still make me laugh. Scooby-Doo is good too and I am probably one of the few ones who like Scrappy!!

I think Tristan is most definitely a boy's name :confused3

I have a boy cousin named Tristan. I love the name. He and his wife just had a girl baby that they named Isolde. They are really into medieval romances, so they figured that Tristan should have an Isolde.

I thought Katie was tough at 7 pounds 14 oz. After that it was all downhill. Jacob weighed in at 6 pounds 8 oz., and the twins were, Leslie 5 pounds 11 oz., and Mary 5 pounds 10 oz. I guess the 2 of them together equalled over 10 pounds, but they came out one at a time (thank heaven!!!)

Oh, that just brought back a memory!!! I was lying on the table during the C-section with the twins (they were both sideways in the womb). They had delivered both girls, and sent them off to the NICU, and my doctor was finishing up with me. Alan was standing there, watching, really into the whole thing. The doctor was replacing my uterus and Alan said, "Is that her uterus? That thing is HUGE!!!" The doctor and all the nurses (all female) looked daggers at him, and said, "Well it should, it's been housing 2 people for 9 months." Alan got really sheepish, and quickly left the OR for the NICU. He was so embarrassed!

well that's better than most men...I'm guessing they would need an explanation what that was they were replacing. But poor guy!!

Do them! Do them! Do them! I've been doing it for about 4 months or so and have almost $70 in my account. And that's with only getting 50 cents for the probably 50-75% that I don't fully qualify for. I plan to use mine for Borders Rewards and buy Christmas gifts with them and then put that Christmas money on my Disney card.

Of course today I don't have any surveys from them. But i won't be deleting any future ones!
I got the e-mail from the Movie thing, but I didn't qualify for that panel, either! Disney has no love for me on their panels, which really makes me mad. With all the money I give them you would think they would want my opinion. Or maybe not. They figure I dump thousands of $$ into their theme parks every year so they obviously don't NEED my opinion.

Elizabeth, thank you for ordering the Build-A-Bear magnets for me. :goodvibes

You're quite welcome!:)

Sorry you get to join our pity party but that other panel sounds cool too!!

Welcome to the Moms' Panel pity party! Enjoy the Movie Club panel!!:thumbsup2

My aunt just called, my cousin had her football player, er, baby at 10:09am this morning. The baby weighed in at 10lbs, 10oz. :scared1: :scared1: No C-Section!

I don't think I would appreciate it if my OB let my baby get to nearly 11 lbs. On the other hand, she was the one who turned down the induction, so that's what she gets.;)

I see I passed 5000 posts sometime yesterday as I posted my :( on several mom's panel threads. Seriously, I was a creative writing teacher. Sheesh! :rotfl:

Congrats on 5000, Amy! I am still chapped about the Moms Panel, too.

Thanks, Theresa. It is the happiest and most positive I've been in a LONG time!

Denise, I am hoping for a good outcome from this!!:wizard:

Princess seems to be feeling fine today.:) We went to gymnastics, then to the mall for awhile, and now she is having a nap.

want my recipe???

too bad you're getting it anyway!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Put roast in crock pot with one packet of Au jus mix and about 1/2 cup of water....cook until meat is done to your liking (usually about 4 hours on low for us but I had a HUGE roast this time, still partially frozen so it's going to have about 7 hours).

make another packet of au jus for dipping.
sautee onions

toast the provolone on the bread til melted, add meat and onions and you are done!!

Well.....put the au jus in a bowl to dip into...then you really are done!!

This is quick, fairly cheap and ohhhhh so yummy!!

Poor Alan! That is a funny story though!

I gotta say I agree with them but I never have learned how to pronounce Isolde...can you help??
