I promise I've read but since I am doing it undercover(can't get caught at work again:lmao: ) I am just going to send out a bucketload of pixie dust and congrats to everyone.

Please be thinking about Littleton on Thursday morning. We had a young man who survived the Columbine shooting who went on to serve in the military. He was killed last week in Afghanistan. His funeral will be held here at my work church on Thursday morning. The stupid people who picket military funerals have heard about it and are planning to be at the funeral. Hopefully because of a venue change (family didn't realize how much military presence there would be) they will be picketing the wrong spot. But this will be a huge funeral either way.

So sorry to hear this Theresa  Prayers for the family

I am having a hard time wondering why some idiots feel they have to picket a very private thing any family has to go thru. May they all go to the wrong place or at least have a lot of flat tires if they do show up at the right location.

Elizabeth-hope DH & DS get better soon and keep it to themselves!

Hi everyone!
My first day went well.
:woohoo:

That poor family.:grouphug:

The whole idea of picketers just turns my stomach. How can they pretend to care about the war if they are willing to do this to those who have already suffered so much???? It is so awful!!!!

Hi everyone!
My first day went well. My co-workers are nice. I have to learn alot there but so far so good! I did love being around all that Disney stuff I can tell ya!
Must have self control not to blow my whole paycheck on "cute" Disney stuff.;)

Ah yes retail. Hope you have a good time and "KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET"!!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl:

I wonder how they can actually justify it to themselves. And how is that there are so many willing and able to do it?:confused3

DH went to local appliance store and they too said that Maytag Epic, Whirlpool Duet and one of the Kenmores were actually the same machine. This store was a Maytag only place but they will soon sell Whirlpool appliances as they are the same company now. We would have to wait at least 1 week for the Whirlpool. So I called them this afternoon and ordered the Maytag Epic. They will deliver sometime on Wednesday.

The LG at Sears was $500 more.:scared1: And it looked very complicated. The control panel was very intimidating. As much as I would like the steam feature I couldn't justify the price and didn't want to risk getting a machine that would be more difficult to service.

Hope we have better luck with this Maytag.

My problem is they aren't actually doing it against the war per se....these are the same ones who tried to picket at the Amish school shooting victims funerals. These idiots are just attention seeking hounds.

As I said at supper tonight, "I don't like the war but no way, no how would I ever picket at a funeral of somebody who served valiantly so we could have that freedom." I also used some not so nice words.
I wouldn't picket anyway....hardly ever do I feel that strongly about things...plus I suffered through my grandma picketing at my high school and getting thrown off the grounds.:sad2:

ITA. They need to support the soldiers and picket the government. This makes me mad.

Oh -- I bet they were so cute! Around here, the little ones wear lime green, bright pink or bright purple, along with soccer shorts that are half way to their feet and huge matching bows! I can't wait for my niece Hallie to start playing!

Jennifer -- If Lindsay was there at the game, getting wet was only half of the problem, as the Horns were stomped on today... Randy is NOT happy about the outcome... Did y'all get any rain? It was dry here...

Yikes! That does not bode well for next weekend. My sister is headed to Sooner territory and was not very please when she realized they had moved the trip to Texas-OU weekend. She's thinking that might be a good day to go visit grandma as opposed to our Sooner uncles.

Reading this brought tears to my eyes, Elin. You have every right to be proud of your daughter and it came across loud and clear in your post just how proud you are. Brava, Kristin!

Ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto!!! Beautifully written, Elin. Congrats to Kristin on an amazing performance.

Ok People...Here are the Much Anticipated Photos...

I can't wait to see how they look in the dark tonight. I'll post those pictures after work tonight :cool1: :cool1: I'm so excited as I LOVE THEM

SO cute!! I just love them.

I had these quoted from the last time I was here. Seems like you all decided to get chatty, it's nice to see so many pages but I can't possibly catch up. Any one got a recap?!

Robyn - I am sorry about your dog-in-law.:guilty: When DS was 4 they euthanized the hippo at the zoo and DS was devastated. It is horrible to have your child so sad and you can't do anything about it!
I hope Emma feels better soon and wants to use the potty some more!:wizard:

I know you meant Molly but I had to :rotfl2: Molly is at the very least sitting and trying. It's a step in the right direction, but we're not making much progress.

Hope Molly feels better soon :wizard: Hopefully you can unwind at dinner & enjoy yourself with your friends!

We had a wonderful evening out. The food was good and the company much better. It was so nice to just relax with our friends.

I do know that I owe Terry and Jo belated birthday wishes...

I wish I could stay and chat but I need to get caught up on some laundry and I need to work on Lucy's next slideshow. I can't believe that she will be 3 months old tomorrow.

Have a great night...:grouphug: and :wizard:
