Elin - I FINALLY got the darn Chase site to work properly. .....

Gotta love it when money is coming IN instead of OUT for a change!:rotfl2: But I did make that Chase payment...

Glad you got in and made your payment, Elizabeth!

h everyone :)

i had such a fun day! went shopping at hte outlets with a couple ladies from work--then we had dinner and just relaxed! now im home and relaxng :)

Of course, my football game wasnt on tv, but my team won, so its okay!

:goodvibes :yay: And I, for one, am glad that you posted it here, because I don't always get over to the TR Board to read!

I agree with Elin. I never go directly to the trip report thread. I only go if its from a link one of you post in your signature.

Olivia and I went to Target after church today to look at the halloween decorations. They had some Christmas decorations out already. They had cute tink, princees, cars, pooh and Mickey Ornaments.

Okay I think I am going to get off and read a little bit before I go to bed. I work tomorrow so will probably see you all Tues. Morning.

Hi all!

Debbie I am loving your TR & pictures!

Jennifer thanks for the heads up about Target. I will have to see if ours has Christmas decorations yet. I need small ornaments for our tree that we will have in our room at the Poly. I will look while I'm at Disney in Oct. as well.

Chanon the salsa I made is really good & so far has been a hit with everyone that has tried it. I took some to work & it was gobbled up & they were wanting more :thumbsup2

Found out we will be getting a refund from our power company, well everyone will be getting one. Anyway this means more money for Disney :cool1:

Kim I made some of your trail mix with the goldfish. I also added some sesame sticks to the mix, it is very good! Heidi I have a bowl of candy corn & peanut mix if you would like some :teeth:

I knew I was forgetting something,

Bernadette congratulations on getting the suites for next year :cheer2:

Hello everyone. I feel like I am so out of touch with you all. I have read everything but just haven't had time to comment. The weekend flew by. Saturday afternoon we took the kids shopping to try to get some long sleeved shirts and pants. I got so frustrated things fit perfectly, which means they won't fit in February, or they were huge. Nicholas is at a really hard stage because he needs a size 8 in pants for the length but he is so darn skinny that he swims in them. He looks like he should be in a rap video. So I don't know what I'm going to do. Then after dinner they went to their dads. In the evening Bob and I went to Joe's Crab Shack, where my neighbor was playing. He plays guitar and sings, and even made a CD. So it was nice to socialize and have a few drinks with friends. Then today we watched some football, went downtown and walked around and then went to Walmart. I got Bob his black tshirt for MNSSHP but I am on the lookout for a black tank for me.

Debbie - the trip report is great! Brandon is such a lucky little boy. I'd like to know more of how you did the window clings if you don't mind.

:wizard: and :grouphug: to you all.

Thanks Tammi, they are actually window decals that I found at Office Depot. I tried them at home and found that they worked better if they were placed on the outside of the window, air bubbles were a problem when I printed the design in mirror image and placed it on the inside. The designs were mainly our t-shirt designs that we wore. I did have one that was damaged, the moisture in the air made the ink damp and it look like someone ran their hand over it and smeared it. I just took that one down and respaced what was left. I also made sure they would come off clean before I put them up, it was no problem.

Well here we are headed out on day 4, I guess you can tell who was in charge of pushing all the elevator buttons,

IMG_2603.jpg

Our destination this morning was MGM, we were going to attend the Playhouse Concert and today's show would be the Doodlebops. I must admit that I had never heard of them, but Brandon had. I had read that you had to get a ticket for the concert as there was limited seating for each show. I was prepared to find a CM and find out where to get the tickets but when we got there they had a special line set up for tickets.

IMG_2608.jpg

The concert was being held in a large tent set up behind the RNRC courtyard, and thank goodness it was air conditioned!

IMG_2611.jpg

The first concert was at 10 and we had a little time beforehand, we were right by TOT and believe it or not Brandon said he wanted to ride it. I asked him if he was sure and was he still scared, he told me that only babies were scared and he wanted to ride. So HE DID IT! Now PawPaw had some serious claw marks where Brandon grabbed his chest during the drop sequence, but he was really proud of himself for doing it. He has however let me know that he won't be riding again, he said he didn't know who broke that glass but it scared him.

After that it was time to get in line for the Concert, and as far as kid's groups go they really weren't bad, here they are,

IMG_2631.jpg

It didn't take long to figure out that Mo was the crowd favorite,

IMG_2632.jpg

We got out of the concert in time to run into some more entertainment, I have to admit that I have never seen HSM, but once again Brandon knew who they were,

IMG_2635.jpg

I guess taking a picture here has become a tradition for us, he doesn't fit quite as well as he did the last trip, and in case you're wondering he's not sleeping, he's dead. I made that mistake myself. :rotfl:

IMG_2639.jpg

We headed over to Star Wars, Brandon loves this one too. From there it was on to Pizza Planet for lunch, the food here's is not fantastic but it's ok, and Brandon loves cheese pizza. And since we were eating in an arcade we had to invest some money in the games. We had given Brandon $100 in Disney dollars for his birthday that was his spending money, he bought a toy after Star Wars so I told him he could use the money he got in change in the arcade. Giving him his own money to spend worked great, he spent it all and then when he would ask for something else I would remind him that he spent all of his Stitch money and that would be the end of it.

IMG_2645.jpg

After lunch we went to Muppet Vision, after Philharmagic this one is a little outdated but we still enjoy it. This is one of my favorite picture spots,

IMG_2646.jpg

We ran into these two, if you're wondering where Brandon is in the picture, he wouldn't get anywhere near them. Do you see a pattern here? He wouldn't ahve anything to do with Aladdin and now he won't go near Kim and Ron . . . . .

IMG_2648.jpg

We decided to pass on the car stunt show due to the heat, we had been when it wasn't quite as hot and it was miserable in the stadium. We headed back to Disney Animation, and we met these guys, Brandon was very excited to meet them, here he is holding hands with two rats, but he wouldn't get near Kim Possible? :confused3

IMG_2657.jpg

It's also our tradition to get Icees and sit on the curb to wait for the parade. Brandon was playing with his Star Wars toys when he dropped one of the light sabers in the grate around the tree, a wonderful CM stopped and helped us retrieve it, thanks again, you made a little boy very happy. Then along came my favorites, the Streetmosphere Actors, one of the reasons I love MGM.

IMG_2663.jpg

Here's my little guy anxiously awaiting the parade,

IMG_2677-1.jpg

And the newest star of the parade,

IMG_2681.jpg

DH couldn't get over the fact that Lightning and Mater were not in the parade, but here were the days Grand Marshalls,

IMG_2685.jpg

Brandon loves parades and he almost messed up here and smiled for the camera,

IMG_2695.jpg

He's a little more serious in this one,

IMG_2705.jpg

And even though he wouldn't get near him during LOEMH, Brandon couldn't get away from this guy and ended up shaking his "Hook"

IMG_2709.jpg

After the parade we headed back to POP to take our afternoon break, it would be a short one today as we stayed linger at the park than we had intended, but Brandon really enjoyed the parade so I'm glad we stayed.

Up next, dinner at Crystal Palace . . . . . . .

I'm gonna have to call it a night, I was hoping that I would be feeling much better by now, but I'm not. The most I've done today is clean the kitchen and work on this report but I'm worn out. Missing work tomorrow is really not an option, for more reasons that one.

Karen-Im headed to bed- but just PM me your question and iill answer ya tomorrow!

time for bed ! Have a great night all

Hi, all! I haven't gone back to catch up yet. I should have a few minutes to do that, though. :goodvibes

I had my second meeting with the principal today. She was nice enough, but she is not bending on this route home. She did come out today to look at my hill, and she said that it looked too steep to her and that it had tree roots on it. My neighbor told her that the tree roots made great steps. She made me feel like I was either stupid or neglectful for letting my kids on that hill. She didn't actually say that; it was the feeling that I had. It is steep, but I walked up and down that hill when I was 9 months pregnant. We have been on the hill in all kinds of weather. I could see something happening, but certainly no more so than the "approved path" home. There are some steep concrete steps on that path, but they are town property, not school property, and I think that makes all the difference. She told me that she couldn't do anything about the cars that congregate at the bottom of the "approved" path.

I am still thinking about what to do. I may go take some pictures of the groups of cars and the two pathways in case I want to take this any further. Also, I want to keep times on this one bus that flies down our street and around the corner at the same time Miles rounds the corner.

Beth

Isn't it amazing how people can make you feel. My first customers tonight were the customers from H E L L. The ate very slowly so there food was ready before they had finished their salads (well actually their second plate of salad). From that moment on there was no pleasing them. Of course they complained as they were leaving and what did they say "The waitress was dumber than a rock". It's a good thing that I didn't hear her say it because he ignorance is no excuse for bad manners.

Vertigo is horrible! pixiedust: that you are better soon!

I only had the vertigo in the morning. Once the decongestant kicked in the vertigo went away and I was fine :thumbsup2

I can relate to all that. Except no calls from family.;) The kids start soccer tomorrow if it doesn't get rained out. I've been getting emails from all the coaches. Lizzy coach said cleets were optional and Emma's said they were required. I actually think Lizzy is playing well enough to benefit from them but if I get them for her I need to get them for the others. I think I'll wait and see how they do. We'll be getting 5 "discount cards" for each child that they are supposed to sell for $10 each. Who am I supposed to sell these to? Everyone we know is in soccer and family is out of town.

We've already got the wrapping paper package too.

:wizard: Good luck with your back!

Neither you or Anne Marie looked lopsided to me! :rotfl:

:wizard: Hope it clears up for her!!!!

You did do the right thing.:thumbsup2

Thanks on all accounts!:)
I hate those "discount cards"!!! We don't have any family to sell them too so we end of buying all the wrapping paper, cookie dough, candy bars, discount cards, etc etc etc!!!! Well this year I am not doing it. No fundraisers for me! Especially with what i am paying for Daniels school, they can't have more of my $!!!:rotfl:

I'm in agreement with all of you on the fundraising front. I will not ask people to buy items that are ridiculously priced. I don't do them anymore. I am more than happy paying for whatever my kids need, but I won't try to make friends and family buy things that they simply don't need just to raise money.

Yes, we do & totally agree with you. I need a job....I am applying to the Disney store on Monday. Hopefully that will help out with the kids expenses & some $ for future Disney trips.;)

Good luck on the job front

Thanks everyone

Thanks for letting me have somewhere to go to talk about all this--just having a hard time

I've already had my first Scholastic Book sale come home with Alyssa. While I feel guilty not buying anything, I really have a hard time justifying it when I can get the books at the library for free. And like I need more books to cram into the bookshelf that they can't seem to stay on as it is!

I don't buy them books either. We have shelves full of books and they take them out of the library too. No need to buy more.

Well it's been a rough one this week. Brandon came down with a cold our last two days at Disney, and it is impossible to stay away from kid's germs when you have them 24/7, sanitizer can only do so much.
So of course I had to come down with it, and with my lung issues already I always end up with at least bronchitis, so I'm back on antibiotics, I did check them out before taking any. I can't believe your pharmacy Steffy, I think you should definitely report them so hopefully thet won't cause harm to anyone, if it has happened twice to you there's no telling how often they make these errors.

I went back and finished makeing trip notes, I do plan on trying my hand at a trip report. And I've almost finished adding borders to our photopass pictures, we really didn't have that many, we get so involved in doing things that we didn't stop enough for pictures. I had prepurchased the CD so I had intentions of getting lots of pictures.

Our DD made a quick trip home this weekend so it's gonna be Glynis's pot roast for dinner tonight before she heads back.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

:wizard: Feel better soon. Can't wait to read your trip report.

Debbie - Princess likes the Doodle Bops.;) Yay for Brandon for doing ToT! DS hates that ride. It sounds like you guys had fun. I'm sorry you still aren't feeling well. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow!

Deb - Yikes! Your customers sound like jerks! How was camping?

Tammi - There are a few brands that make 7X pants. I know Izod does, and so does Osh Kosh. Ralph Lauren Polo run narrow and long but ONLY in size 7 where they have elastic in the back of the waist. DS still can't wear boys size 8 pants in those because they are HUGE. Gap has pants in "slim" that also have the adjustable waist, so those work well. For jeans go with Levi's slim - they have them at Kohl's and Dillard's. DS has shorts from Talbot's, J Crew kids, and Hanna Andersson that are great but we don't have pants from there. Lands End has some pants in size 8 with elastic in the back but they are gigantic. Good luck!

Just wanted to let ya all know, mom got the results from her polyps and they were benign. She just has to take extra calcium, zinc, and 1 other vitamin.

:cool1: :cool1:

I'm still 5 pages behind and I haven't read anything current, but my bed is calling me. i'll catch up and post our weekend tomorrow.
