Good morning, DDA!

I just realized that it is almost time to go get the new tires so I have to get Terra dressed. I'll finish catching up later, but Elizabeth, I just had to post this license plate I saw in someone's siggie for you:

I spent today shopping for clothes for Kristin to start her new job at Carrabbas on Sunday. And California Dreaming/Planning.

For the DL portion of our trip I think we will try out Napa Rose and The Vineyard Room as well as RFC and the Uva Bar at Catal. Of course, we have to have lunch at Blue Bayou. I get to make our reservations this weekend! :yay:

We are celebrating our 34th anniversary at Napa Rose. Can't wait to surprise Bob with thi
s stuff. :goodvibes

Your DL trip sounds fantastic!

Okay, let's just agree these are the cutest little Crocs you have ever seen...

And my DD's birthday cake as promised...

Okay, I've gotta get some sleep. We have to be at the park at opening. Thank goodness it is only 7 minutes away...:yay: :yay: :yay:

How cute (the crocs AND the cake)! Have fun today! :goodvibes

I am off to Kohl's in a few minutes. One thing I love about that store is their hours. Someone like me must have developed their marketing strategy! ;)

I totally agree! :thumbsup2

Good Morning DDA.

We're home from the campout. I need a nap ;) Hunter had a lot of fun and he seemed to sleep pretty soundly. Me, not so much. Chris is loading the truck for hazardous waste day at the dump. We hear you need to be there early or you will be in line FOREVER. The fishing derby starts at 9 so I'll take the boys to that. Then we'll run home and get hot dogs and punch for the cub scout picnic that starts at noon. We'll probably leave there early as I need to shower and get to work by 3:45PM. I'm pretty sure that I'll be exhausted when I hit the sheets tonight.

Sounds like fun at the campout, and more fun planned today! I hope you get some rest in between! :goodvibes

ugh..im a bit aggravated this morning...For the past week, my family has been saying were leaving a 8am, no later..last night, around 10, i called my mom to check times and said if they were going to change, to call me (i had my cell the whole night) ..so i got home, set my alarm for 630 and went to sleep..i wake up, shower, get ready,,,everyone is still sleeping...they changed the times and didnt tell me...so i am ready, packed, went to dunkin donuts, and when i got home, i "accidently" woke my brother up to find out what time were leaving..so here i am

sorry to vent, just a bit aggravated right now

Oh no! I hate when that happens, but ultimately I usually am thankful for waking up the extra hour or two ... and the trip to Dunkin Donuts sounds perfect! Have a great day despite the bumpy start! :goodvibes

I would be a little ticked off too, Jen.

Ah, very cool! Thanks, Tia! I am too cheap to have a personalized plate, but I sure would like to have one like that!

I have been working on putting all of our pins into "collections" on PinPics. You just register a username and then you can click all of the pins you have into a collection. I just did DS's pins. All 95 of them. Now my neck is stiff! It is pretty neat, and a good way to keep track of what we have and what we don't. I am sure DH will want me to put his pins in too, but I am not going to start that right now.

Just popped on to say good morning and good bye! We're heading out the door! Have a great week everybody!!! Thanks for the good wishes!

I'm sure I missed you Glynis. Have a Wonderful Trip!!!

Happy Anniversary to Glynis and Elin (if my tired memory serves me correctly)

Have fun Jen!!

Glynis and someone else (but I don't remember who right now either!). Mine is in July when we are at DL so that is probably why you thought it was now with Glynis' Deb. I hope you get some down time to rest, but I don't think it is going to happen.

Prayers for Aidan needed...

June 02, 2007 at 09:27 AM CDT
Well yesterday was an exciting day as Aidan was removed from assisted oxygen and Naomi got to feed him his first bottle. However this excitement was damperred last night when we received a phone call from his Doctor and he was running a temperature of 104.
It seems he has picked up some infection via his central lines and they are performing a spinal tap this morning to check for any other issues. His potasium level has been compromised and urine output has decreased. He is now on additional anti-biotics and doesn't act ill, but we really weren't expecting this after such a wonderful day yesterday.

Well the fishing Derby was a bust. There were tons of kids there and hardly any fish being caught. My nephew caught 3 and that was it for our 5 kids. We bagged it early and came home for a few minutes before the cub scout picnic. We've made the 5 gallons of fruit punch that we said we'd bring and the awards are all together. That starts at noon and we will have to leave at 2 for me to shower before work. At least I have a few minutes to relax. I'll eat here before we go as I don't want to wreck my diet at the picnic. I've been 100% on track since Tuesday morning :thumbsup2

:lmao: :lmao: I think we're brain sharing again. I had this copied and was ready to paste when I saw your post :lmao: :lmao:

Oh, dear! Just when things were going so well for Aidan!:guilty: I hope he recovers from the infection quickly!

Deb - Have fun at the picnic!

I just put some laundry in, and we are almost out of detergent. I guess I will go to Target later.
Today is DH's last day to work and then he gets 2 days off!! He commented the other day that he will never work 27 days in a row again. Well, DUH! It wasn't really a good idea to start with!
We are going to go see POTC3 tomorrow, then we will stop by my new employers' to sign my contract. DS & DH haven't met them yet so this will give them a chance to say hello.
DS got his second pirate shirt from UPS yesterday so I have it in the wash in case he wants to wear it to the movie. This one looks like it is the right size (FINALLY!).

We are going to WDW in 75 days!!!

Have I told you how much I hate shaving??:confused3 :confused3 If you are a bit squeamish you may not want to continue. You have been warned.:rotfl: :rotfl2:

This morning I proceeded to skin my right shin. Yep, I removed a quarter inch wide 2 inch long piece of skin off of my shin. I could feel the skin coming off, but it was too late. I think it still may be bleeding not sure, as it is covering in neosporin, gauze and tape.

 Ewww!:scared: And OUCH!:scared1:
I hope it stops bleeding soon! Yikes! Maybe you should consider a different brand/style of razor!
