Good morning, DDA!!!

Sorry to miss out on posting yesterday. At least I was productive though - 4 loads of laundry, mowed the backyard (FINALLY!), emptied the dishwasher, finished dishes from our impromtu BBQ with Rachel's friend's family on Monday, cleaned the fish tanks, went to the library, made returns at 3 stores, took BIL to work, took and picked up Phil from work, picked up Mom from work. Whew! The only think we didn't get to on the list was working the dirt for our garden. Now it's raining again so it won't get done today either.

We are off for some fun though, I think, as Mom is off work today. I think Rachel's choice is the Science Center though we're kind of hoping to talk her into something that Mom and I enjoy a little more. Either way it should be fun though.

Guess I'd better go get ready. Have a great day everyone!

Good night, everyone! I'm off to finish packing the kids suitcase, and start pulling my clothes for the trip. My goal is to have the suitcases completely packed by the end of the day tomorrow. Then I can work on the beach stuff. Gotta figure out how to squeeze it all into our car. Hmmm.....
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Good Morning DDA

I stayed on my diet pretty well yesterday. I did end up eating at work, but I split a meal with a co worker. I had 8 points available and really don't know how many I ate, but it should have been close. The good news is that I'm down a pound this morning :thumbsup2 I like the idea of moving in the right direction. With 52 days left I don't have time for screw ups ;)

Deb
Great news!

Jo,
Thank you to your DD for everything she does for us. You should be one proud mama!

Kelli,

I'm sorry, Amy, but :lmao: :lmao:

He's just so cute about it, though. :goodvibes

:cheer2: Wow Have lots of fun. I'll miss not being at DL this summer. If you ride the Nemo subs post a report.:goodvibes

I'm hoping for a chance at the submarines, but I'm not holding my breath. We are going to be there during the AP preview, but none of us are AP holders. We're going to try, but I'm not saying anything to the kids.

I studied mythology in HS and college (Not a major just for fun) so I did find that part interesting although I wonder if we read more into it than Lucas intended.:confused3

I think that's probably true!

are you kidding me??? Of COURSE we are interested. Remember, we LOVE TRs!

okily dokily! I'll remember to take good notes (and pictures). Got the cameras packed and ready to go!

Been there, Amy! It's amazing how much fun they can have with a roll of toilet paper. At least you were a "good mama" and ran for the camera.

When Katie was 2, she squeezed herself into the bottom shelf of our corner pantry and got stuck. I heard her calling for help, and when I got there, I was in a quandary; do I help get her unstuck, or do I get the camera? I got the camera, of course. I'm going to have to dig that picture out. Wonder where it is (pre-digital days).

I am so mad right now :furious: Garrett & Riley just came home. Riley has bruises around his neck & Garrett has bruises around his neck & a nice gash in his back! They were at a friends house in the club house & Garrett's friend told Riley he needed to go. Riley did not leave & this kid starting choking Riley. Garrett got mad & tried to get the kid off of Riley. This kid then gets a stick or something similar & whacks Garrett on the back with it!

I called his mother & had a nice little talk with her. I will not put up with this! Garrett & Riley are to stay away & I told the mother to make sure to tell her son the same. What A way to start summer :sad2:

Garrett has a game tonight. Talk with you all later!
oh my gosh:scared1: how scary. I hope the boys are okay.

Thanks, Lindsay. After looking at all the pictures, it does remind me a lot of WL's decorations. I inquired for Dec. 2-7, but I could do Dec. 9-14. I'm trying to stay away from Fri and Sat nights though.

That's great (and I can definitely understand about staying away from Fri and Sat nights)! If you were there Dec. 2-7, we might be able to meet, as that is when we'll be doing the DVC portion of our trip, although we'll be over at SSR. If I didn't have so many different accomodations already arranged over there, I would switch our reservations in a heartbeat to AKV!

Hi Chanon!

Thanks for the ecard :goodvibes

Yes, thanks! :goodvibes

It was soggy down on lake LBJ, but not as bad as here. We drove down and back in lots of rain -- very frustrating! I-35 is bad enough in good weather.

It was great fun to see our friends, and also nice to be able to go outside when it's not broiling hot. We did go out in the boat twice between rain storms, and sat outside at the covered dock a lot, so we didn't get too wet.

Games were cancelled for tonight, and we're expecting rain every day but Saturday (but that night there is a chance) then more on Sunday. UUUGGGHHH! Someone take the rain away!

I hope everyone has a restful evening!

Glad you guys had a nice time, despite the weather. This rain is crazy!

 Hi Friends!!

Hope things are going well for everyone! I'm really going to try to keep up here! Life has been so hectic. I miss you guys!!

Hi, Kelli - good to see you! :goodvibes

Oh, that is just terrible, but good for Garrett for sticking up for his brother. What in the world was that kid thinking? Does it sound like the mom will be punishing her son for his behavior?

Hi Glynis! The girls are doing well. Kaelyn gives me a daily countdown on how many days of school left until she's a 7th grader.

Stephanie graduates preschool next week. She doesn't have any idea what graduation is, but she's excited. LOL

Glad to hear the girls are well - I bet Stephanie will be thrilled with her graduation!

It was a slow night at work tonight. I had anticipated that and brought my 5 shirts that I will be tie dying. I got all 5 mickey heads basted :cool1: I work again tomorrow night so maybe I'll get the rubber bands put on. I always hate wasted time so it was nice to have something to keep me busy during the down time

Congrats on getting the shirts half-way there!

Hey! Just another fly by post to say all is fine in the great U.P. My brother and his son are still here with Mom. My sister and her two kids left this morning. Last night, it was just mom, my brother, my sister and our families. It was really a nice visit. Mom says it is the first time ever that she remembers us being together without us making it a competition. I guess we are all growing up finally. :lmao:

Billy Ray, my baby nephew, is absolutely adorable. I'm having so much fun with him. We've gotten lots of pictures. I'll post some later. Yesterday, I took him and my sisters kids to see the horses next door.

Mom, Bill & Billy Ray leave in the morning and i'll have lots of work to catch up on. We are hoping to go down state this week-end for my cousins kids graduation. It really is to spend more time with Bill & Billy before they fly home to Japan.

Hope all is well with everyone. Hugs, pixiedust: and prayers for anyone that needs it.

Sounds like a great time - I hopep you continue to enjoy your family!

Yay! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I will definitely do a TR for you all. Well, if you're interested, that is.

I can't believe you're even asking this...

TR's are like crack to us! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How adorable, Amy! I am glad the toilet paper is on the floor and not in the toilet or trying valiantly to go down the toilet...

Last night I finally got Nicholas to let me pull out his other top tooth. He looks so cute with no teeth.

We need pics! Congrats to Nicholas!

Good morning, DDA!

Just popping in quick before I have to get ready for work. I hope everyone has a good day! Looks like we're in for more RAIN! Gosh, what a surprise! Sister wants to go to the aquarium today. It is a great place, it is just really expensive and it only takes about 90 minutes to walk through. We've been spending a fair amount of money and I don't want Dadboss to have a heart attack when he sees the credit card bill. I told Sister maybe we'll go there next week - we need to spread our excursions out a little. No clue what we'll do today.:confused3

You said it, Elizabeth. This storm that just blew through was terrible! I think a transformer must have blown down on the street, as it looked like the 4th of July out there, and there are now fire trucks everywhere. It was so dark outside, it could have passed for 9 p.m.!

Good Morning DDA

It's just me and Colby this morning so it is so nice and peaceful. No yelling, No fighting and No backtalking :thumbsup2

Colby just put a mickey sticker on the countdown calendar and he removed a link from the countdown chain. He definitely seems more excited to go than the older 2, but it is probably because I spend more time with him.

I'm off to do laundry and a bit of straightening around here.

Deb

Glad you're enjoying your day so far!

Sounds like a very productive day (want to come to Texas and run my errands?)! Have a fun day!

It's not just 10 mo. olds - my dog does this, too, when unsupervised! ;)

Okay off to the post office.

I think Pal Mickey might have arrived as their is a package at the post office waiting for us.

Thanks for all the comments of support for my Mom!
The hospital is going to release her on Thursday. The tests are inconclusive as to what happened.
She is still somewhat disoriented, but is getting better. She still doesn't remember falling, or laying on the floor of her apartment for over 24 hours!

The doctors are changing some of her meds around, hoping that that will remedy the problem.
My brothers and I will be calling twice a day from now on to check on her. I figure with all of us taking a turn, it will be easier for all of us.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, we have a new member to our family.

A six week old kitten that Leighanna fell in love with while visiting her aunt and cousins last weekend for my nieces graduation.

She named her "Patches". She has a couple of patches on her, but I think the REAL reason is because one of the neighbors has a cat named Patches and Leighanna liked her name! (Of course with me being a true Disney freak, I wanted to name her a disney name, but Leighanna won out!)

I will try to post pictures later when I can!

Have a great afternoon all!
