Morning DDA! Sounds like everyone had a great weekend!!! I split some hostas on Saturday - probably planted them too close together but oh well! It looks like I only lost two transplants out of 10 to moving them. I'm not a very good garden person - even if hostas are easy to take care of - and will have to go get some mulch to help keep the ground wet around them. I moved them to the south side of the house so they do get more sun - I just don't know how often to water them! I'm really not a plant person but I don't want them to die! Bob's finally feeling better - he's been sick the past week, and my friend from FL is flying up Friday night to suprise her daughter for her 30th birthday so I have to go pick her up at the airport. That's about it. :teeth:
I hope everyone has a good Monday!!!

Tammi - We had to have Amanda put down on Tuesday. Her poor old body just wasn't able to make it any longer.:guilty: We are worried that Aurora is lonely now, so we decided to get a kitten to keep her company. The kitten is in a foster home right now, so we aren't exactly sure when we will get to bring her home. She isn't spayed yet, and they won't allow us to spay her at our vet's -they insist on doing it before we can take her.

Oh I didn't realize that Amanda was gone. I'm so sorry, Elizabeth. I hope that DS did okay.

i need to ask for some MAJOR prayers. my attendants friends brother who is 12 went to the eye doctor on friday because he told his mom that he saw blood in his eyes. the eye doctor said to get to the ER immediately. come to find out he has a cancerous brain tumor and he is having major brain surgery tomorrow. the outcomes of the surgery are he'll be fine then do radiation/chemo, die, become paralyzed, or have mental challenges. so please pray that the surgery goes well and he will be okay. and if he does pass (which we are praying not) that his family will have comfort knowing he is with Christ. I will let you know his name later i didnt get that from my attendant earlier.

What a sudden scare for the family. He will definitely be in our prayers.

Oh and I was able to get everyone's requests taken care of, except for poor Robyn. For the life of me I couldn't find a Mickey spoon/fork set. Hopefully I will get everything in the mail in the next day or 2. Except for you, of course, Elin. ;)

Robyn - If you'll let me know what you are looking for, I can check at DL next week!

Hi everyone,

Daniel's communion was lovely. Yesterday was sunny & warm. Daniel did 2 readings & all went well. Today we had the celebration with family & friends which also went well. The D.J. kept the kids busy & dancing & playing games. The food was good..yummy penne ala vodka & chocolate cake...yum. I will post pictures asap.

Hope you had a good weekend..I am pages behind..I know Tammi must be home by now so "welcome back Tammi, hope you had a great time!"

I'm glad that everything went well! I drove past several communion parties on Saturday and was hoping that your weather was as nice as ours.

Good morning, DDA!

Tom - Good luck with your assembly of outdoor equipment!:thumbsup2 I am sure Leighanna will enjoy it!

Tia - DS has done pretty well, thanks. He is already pestering me this morning about when the new kitty will be here. It would be nice to have her Friday afternoon so she will have the whole weeeknd with us.

Jen & Tammi - Good luck today!

I have to get DS to school. Be back later!

I have decided I need one of those special passes. You know, the one where you don't have to stop for red lights? And if the person in front of you stops at a red light you can lay on your horn? Not just tap the horn, but BLAST it, like the person just cut you off and almost caused an accident. Yep. I need one of those. Because the jerk behind me on the way to school obviously has one!

Tia how did the game go?

It was a little slow for several innings, but still alot of fun! We were up high, but right behind home plate. Best of all, we stayed in the shade the whole game. We actually get to go again on Wednesday as it happens to be the country station's cheap-ticket day. Now if only I can sneak in at least one more game this year so that my only 2 games of the season weren't in the same week.

Here is our new kitty. Not a very flattering photo, but since we don't have her home yet it is the best I can do. I think DH took a pic of her with his phone yesterday, but I don't know how to get it OUT of the phone!
OMG!!!!!!! How cute!!!!!!!!

Before going to bed last night Garrett told me he misses Disney & is ready to go back now. I wish I could take them on a quick trip, but at this time I don't see it happening :(

I asked him when he gets older & has children if he will let me go with his family to Disney. He said sure, you will help me pay for the trips right? :lmao: I pay for them now, so I guess he thought I would always be paying lol Of course I would pay my way & if he needed a little help I am sure I would help all I could, but I would never tell him that!
:lmao: He's a riot!!!!! Katie told me that she plans on taking her kiddies (my grandkids!:scared1: ) to WDW every year. :cool1:

Her lease was up on the house she was in located in Church Hill. (lovely neighborhood, if you live 3 blocks closer to Broad Street than Kathrin did :scared1: ) She has always wanted to live in "The Fan" and this place opened up just as she started to look. The price and location were perfect and it was available when she needed it to be, so seemed like Kismet! No room mate, and she and Monkey are happy that way. :goodvibes It is small (LR, DR, K, 1 BA and 1 BR) but practically perfect in every way for her.
Looks wonderful Elin, Congrats on the new place!

The kids look like they had fun at CM's! That stinks that you had lost your keys but you handled it nicely:thumbsup2 ..I would have lost my composure right there & then.:headache:

Party was loads of fun, but I only sat long enough to eat.
I got money, Disney Villains Snow globe, money, lottery tickets (I won on a few), money, 4 Pooh pens, money, Pooh address book, money, Mickey and Minnie sticky notes, money, Mickey and Minnie mug, money, Pooh tablet, money.
Too bad you didn't get any money!:rotfl2:

I cannot believe that it is cool enough in our house on MAY SIXTH that we are debating turning on the heat!
Our heat is on...it was freezing this morning!

No, not this trip. We will be resort hopping to see what we like.

Sounds wonderful!!!!

Hi Anne Marie! Happy to hear Daniels communion went well. Chocolate cake, oh that sounds good!

I am going to be so bad at Disney & eat all the yummy stuff I have been staying away from lol Wish I had a Mickey rice krispy dipped in chocolate right now ;)
Thanks, I am going to be bad at Disney too..I don't know how anyone can stay on a diet at Disney!

I ate yummy food yesterday but I went right back on WW's as soon as I got home & today.:thumbsup2

I did 5 loads today, and even got the suitcases unpacked and put away, in under 24 hours from returning home. I think that is a record for me.
Wow!!! i usually leave the suitcases by the door for days. I guess I don't want to admit that I am back home!;) :rolleyes1

7000 posts!!!

I'm glad that everything went well! I drove past several communion parties on Saturday and was hoping that your weather was as nice as ours.
Thank you! It was..low 70's & sunny, couldn't have asked for more!

Glad to hear you had a good time!

I am not cut out to do outside work. I got suburn on my face, my nose won't stop running, I am coughing, and my eyes itch. John is on his own, I'll keep the inside the house clean, he can do the outside.
