Thanks! Laura really needs to avoid it. She has a huge synchro meet in Albany this weekend. I've told her not to go near her brothers or touch anything that they have touched. She has to wash her hands all the time and isn't allowed to touch her eyes or nose. She gives me this but it's better than .

I remember doing that a couple of times and also getting caught doing it a couple of times. It is so hard for them to miss school these days, too. He will have a gym class that he will have to go in early to make up. Then there will be all the make up work to get done. I wish that he missed Wednesday and Thursday, because then he could get the work before the weekend. I really do think he needs to stay home another day, though, and the fact that he really didn't fight too much means that I'm right.

Got news today that a dear friend passed away on 4-30
He had been diagnosed with lung cancer 2 years ago.

I am so sorry to hear that.

I hope that Matthew feels better soon! There's just something wicked going around. It's been hitting our neighborhood pretty hard. I am just waiting for one of my kids to get it! Hopefully not this weekend, though. Alan and Jacob are going camping on a Father's and Son's outing with our church.

Thanks! that your kids stay healthy! Matthew was supposed to go on a Boy Scout camping trip this weekend. That unfortunately isn't going to happen for him.

Elizabeth -- I hope you enjoy your quiet time while your boys are camping.

We had lots of fog this morning, but we might not have rain today. Yeah! We've had so much the last few weeks, and while I know we need it because of the drought we've been in, it would be nice if it was spread throughout the summer and not just in a couple of weeks.

Andrew and Jake are supposed to have games tonight, but I think they'll be rained out. And a good chance that the soccer games in the morning and make-up baseball games tomorrow afternoon won't be played either.

Good Morning DDA. We have plenty of sunshine here, but it is still cold. We are expecting a high near 60 today though. Nick will be camping with the Boy Scouts tomorrow night. They are predicting a low of 34 degrees with a high tomorrow in the mid 60s. It should be fun trying to pack him. Shorts for the day and parka for the night

Chris is taking the other 2 to a a Monster Truck Rally tomorrow. They are pretty excited. I plan to get my camper cleaned and Work of course. I can't believe that we are camping in 2 weekends and we are still having frosts here some days I told the cub scout parents on Wednesday night that if they wanted prizes for the activities they'd better get their butts in gear and find some. I asked for help 2 months ago and no one has made an effort other than "I'd be happy to help, just let me know". Umm I already did. Oh well, it will be fun no matter what.

Next weekend is Mother's day weekend. Traditionally the restaurant is busy. I signed up to work, and may do the whole 8 hours. If we are as busy as expected I could make really good money. I can do breakfast with the boys in the morning or they can do something with me on Saturday. Whatever works out.

The inside of my cheek is killing me. I apparently bit myself while sleeping on Tuesday night. I had a dentist appointment on Wednesday and she said the bite is on a saliva gland. I had hoped it would be better by now, but it seems to get worse each day. It hurts now from my ear to my neck. It hurts enough that I keep looking in the mirror for a swollen or black and blued cheek, thankfully there is nothing noticeable on the outside.

That we all feel better soon.

For nice weather everywhere this weekend so that we can all get those lovely spring chores, games and moving done. We will all be much happier.

Good morning, DDA!

I hope that you feel better! I also was hit with a ton of bricks yesterday evening...lovely UTI. It came on so suddenly. I went to the walk-in. The doctor couldn't believe that I didn't have symptoms longer, because she said that it was a bad one. It sure felt like a bad one! I went from nothing to being in tears in no time at all. Thankfully she also prescribed something to help with the pain. I still don't feel 100%, but it's a lot better than it was.

Jen, YAY! for your last day! I have never heard of kids who go on so many field trips!

I slept well last night, but I must have slept crooked because my shoulder is really sore this morning.

DH called at 7:30 to chat, so now I am up. He said things are going well. 2 of the boys in their cabin are notorious trouble-makers, but he said they are behaving and being polite. He also said he doesn't think the kids are going to get anything for dinner tonight! The bus can't come get them until the driver finishes his after school drop-offs, which would be around 5 PM. If it is 2 hours down there and 2 hours back the kids won't be home until around 9 PM. DH said the food is pretty bad, so DS will be starving! None of the kids have money so they can't stop for food on the way home. MAYBE DH & DS will get to ride back with DS's best friend and his dad. The dad had a flight delay from the bad weather and missed the bus, so he drove his car down to the camp. They can stop for food if they aren't on the bus! Hopefully DH & Bill will figure that out.

We have a busy weekend with Daniel's communion so I'm not sure if I'll be on much so hope you all have a great weekend!

I am a nervoud wreck...my mom & MIL will be staying for the weekend staring tonight & they can drive me up a wall (mostly my mom) so I am very apprehensive about that which has made my stomach go all wonky.

I guess it is too late to hire movers? We moved in here in monsoon-like rain, and our movers were amazing. I hope if it does rain on you that it is just a quick sprinkle!

I am off to bed, too. I hope I can sleep. I tend to have nightmares when I am here by myself. Good night, DDA!

We're in the process of hiring movers for the big things that we can't get up the stairs gracefully....there may be a few boxes left over from this weekend...we just really wanted to do it ourselves...cheaper!!
