Thank you

I'll second that!!! Have a beautiful day

It is a picture of me on my 1st birthday. Little pink ruffle dress with matching bonnet, sitting in a lawn chair outside the trailer we lived in, down in Florida.

Was it at least a good picture :lmao:

Thank you
I would love to come to your restaurant, but John would never agree.

I have no doubt. You always seem so happy. How could you go wrong? Happy Anniversary. Sounds like you need to have a nice night out tonight. I know a great restaurant and a hostess that could find you a spectacular table, but I hear it is quite a commute

How much diet soda should I have at the party? Would 6- 2liter bottles be overkill?

Good morning everyone. Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes.

My bratty sister put a picture of me in the paper today, telling everybody that I am 40. Good thing age doesn't bother me. :thumbsup2

that's funny....too bad none of the papers around here do that (at least one's Jim would see!!:rotfl: )

Today is also my anniversary, 21 years. :goodvibes

Do you all think we will make it?? Had a few naysayers who didn't think we would even last a year.

 Happy Anniversary!!!

We had similar naysayers....we all showed them didn't we????:lmao:

Sounds exciting! Will you be standing somewhere to see the Queen?

not me! I figure even if I did go down there today I would not get close enough to make it worth my while. Besides, I have more important people to see all day today and tonight, namely you guys and my students!

Well, Bob too.... :rotfl2:

And I understand the service is impeccable!

How many people are you expecting and will you have other beverages? I find that it is better to have enough on hand. You don't have to open it all and I'm sure you could use the remainer at home

Last count was 27 people

I am having tea, coffee, soda and bottled water.

Wow--just checked out my tickers!! 8 days til graduation..2 weeks til Disney...my last day of student teaching is TOMORROW!

I just knew you could make it through the student teaching! What a great accomplishment! I hope you know how proud we all are of you! Good luck with everything (including the interview). If you need to bounce ideas off anyone, feel free to PM me! Keep in mind, though, it's been over a decade since I last interviewed for a teaching position!

Happy birthday, and happy anniversary to you Heidi!!!

I think that you and John are doing just fine! Sometimes I tell Alan that as long as we take this marriage thing one day at a time, we'll be just fine! Here's hoping that you guys celebrate this special day together for the next 60 plus years!!!!!

I would think that 6 2 liter bottles might be a bit much with all the other beverages, but you never know.

Well, it's a gloomy, rainy day here in Alpine. I'm leaving in a few minutes to take the twins to school, but what I really want to do is pull the covers over my head and sleep the day away! Unfortunately, I have to finish Katie's dress for her choir concert tonight, get dinner going, do the shopping, and finish reading the book for tonight's book club.

Guess I'd better get going!

Talk to you all later!

What book is it???

I hear you about sleeping the day away...though it is beautiful here today!! My knee hurts like the dickens and I didn't sleep very well last night.

Jim is getting movers lined up for the piano and our heavy items that need to come up the stairs nicely.

When I was doing the insurance estimate yesterday I realized how much we have invested in musical instruments. :scared1: Not jewelry, not antiques, not tv's and stereos...but thousands of dollars in musical instruments...most given to us.

I have decided age does not bother me any more.

Age is just a number on a piece of paper...the only ages that should count is 16 (or 17) when you are allowed to drive, 18 when you are allowed to vote and 21 when you become an "adult". Other than that you are as old as you feel or how old people think you are....which according to my daughter last night I was about 2. :rotfl:

I knew that you would understand....I just didn't realize how much we had until we were describing it...It's just part of our lives. I think I underestimated replacement value though....heck if I know on those things!!
