Glynis - your trip sounds so wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with us! I'm so thrilled that Alan is finally getting sucked into your obsession. How fun!
How sweet of your DH to offer to upgrade your ring. I'm the same as I don't think I would want to change my ring as it's the one I accepted that he put on my finger. I'll never forget I took it off at my mom's house to do dishes and my mom shook out the table cloth in the yard that I had set it on. I was in tears as we had just got engaged that month and my ring seemed gone. But Mike went out with a flashlight and scoured that yard the whole evening until he found it. He was really a nice guy before he became a workaholic. Maybe someday he'll realize work isn't the only fulfilling thing in life.![]()
We only have one photo that we got from the photographer....she kind of fell off the face of the earth after our wedding. The video is all of one of my bridesmaids....our friend, Jim's brother and his dad were all enamored with Melanie's whoo has.
I would have gotten sick.I did forget to mention that Alan broke down and bought a turkey leg both on our MK day, and on our Epcot day. I hate the things, but Alan just loves them! In Epcot, he was tearing off chunks to eat them, and just about died, as the meat was raw and dripping blood!!!
He took it back to the cart and they quickly exchanged it for another one. I was glad I hadn't eaten any of it! It was really yucky! I just don't like the smoked taste of them. Alan always buys one for a meal in DL and he and the kids pick it clean. Not me, thank you very much!!!
Hi How are things going with your family? Did your trip go well?Good to see you, Christi!! I am so happy that you have a chance to check in. I hope that the laptop can visit with you for a long time! No computer is hard. I hope that all is well with you. You are in my prayers.
How fun!!! You'll have to tell us all about it! When do you see the show?
I wouldn't mind a proper wedding night where I actually spend it with DH instead of some groomsmen and a bartender.Of course, I'm not sure he would now for fear of another
9 months later.
Europe would be a great overdue honeymoon. Hope it's a wonderful trip. That sounds so sweet!
Gary proposed to me on the beach at sunsetWe lived in CA. at the time & flew home to be married. I had to ship everything to my moms for the wedding. Our wedding was on Halloween weekend. After our reception a few of us went to a couple bars(Gary's dad owns one) & everyone would ask us if we really just got married or if we were dressed for Halloween

We never have had a honeymoon, just a couple nights at a hotel. We were happy just being home with family & friends. But our trip to Europe will be like our very overdue honeymoon![]()
We have a book of proofs but no real pics. She moved and than we moved out here and never were able to order any. DH said maybe we could somehow use the proofs to have some pics. done.
Not sure if that's doable. My sister's wedding video is funny as she had a strapless wedding dress and I don't even know what size whoo has but you could fit a person in her bra.
She didn't have any support up there needless to say her dress kept creeping down through the ceremony I was afraid she would flash the minister.

Our last day in Florida dawned colder than any of the others. We had been blessed with great weather while in Florida. None of the days got below 72 degrees, and it just felt good! Tuesday was a lot chillier!
Hi Everyone!
I am sure it has been asked a thousand times, but with 6396 pages to look at I am never going to find the answer.
What does DDA stand for?
Thanks!
ETA: I found it!![]()

I would expect his mom to pay for anything he breaks in my home relation or not. It's just not right of her to let him destroy other people's property if she doesn't mind her own that's her decision. I was always expected to pay for/replace things I broke, even if by accident, as a child. Usually by doing chores for money etc. of course this taught me to be more careful of things because my mom didn't accept it was an accident as an excuse. I try to at least let my children have a little wiggle room on this as I do feel there are real accidents. Of course than when I have problems with the kids my mom says it's because I'm not strict enough.Well, they're gone now, and I've done what I can with the bookshelves. Alan will look at it when he gets home. At least they didn't destroy my books. They've done that before. Donny likes to tear the covers off. I caught him doing that last year, and I about came unglued!!!
