I almost made a BIG boo-boo! I was looking at airfare and thought the fare for Orlando for August had dropped over $100 per ticket. I ran and grabbed my credit card and feverishly started booking. LUCKILY at the last minute I caught the fact that I put in the WRONG airport code and was booking us to go to Kansas City!:scared1: Orlando is MCO, Kansas City is MCI. I really should be more careful about that. At least I hadn't gotten to the point of no return!

o wow! im glad you caught that!

Is this the one you are referring to??

here is the video

I know it differently as a camp song, but I assuming this is what you mean. I went searching as I didn't think that was what you meant.

yes:woohoo: they played this song at the dance party at mvmcp and it has been in my head ever since. now i need a place i can download it.

Has anyone ever sewn a swimming suit, or had one custom made??:confused3 :confused3 I am considering it and here is the reason why, but don't want to do it yet as I still hope to loose more weight. However I really don't think my problem is going to change much even if I loose more weight. Or does anyone know of any companies with extra long torso swim suits? But if I am going to spend the money to have it done, I want it to fit for more than a year. I know this is still a ways off but it will proabably take awhile to find what I want.

The reason I am asking is because my torso length for a swimming suit has always been longer than even the long lengths for a suit. Right now looking at lands Ends size charts I should order a size 14, some other companies size 16 except it will be too short even the long length, torso measurement for that size is 67, I am 74 inches the size 26 torso measurement is only 73 1/2 inches.:scared1: :scared1: when I was size 22/24 my torso measure was like 80 inches+. I know I will most likely have to go the 2 piece route, as normal but they are still typically short by several inches. If it was an inch or 2 it wouldn't be a big deal but we are talking 7 inches, last 1 piece I had squished the daylights out of me, I felt like I was being vertically compressed. I guess if I find a 1 piece that actually comes over my chest, often times they don't do that, I could lengthen the straps.

You all are creative anybody have any suggestions? Sorry to be complaining about my clothing issues again but they drive me nuts.

It wasn't the middle of the night at all! It was 4:50 AM!:rotfl2:

But there is a method to my madness. First, if he doesn't know about the trips then he isn't distracted in the days leading up to it. He has Inattentive ADD, so he doesn't need distractions. Second, if he doesn't know then he can't blab to his friends. That gives me a better shot at getting the days excused when he comes back - our district forbids vacations. They did excuse the 3 days he missed in December, so that worked well for me.

DS got his report card today! All A's and B's for the marking period, all A's and B's EXCEPT math, which was a C, for the semester. The math grade is because he wasn't on medication for the ADD the first marking period, and his math grade was pretty low. He did well the other 2 marking periods, but not well enough to pull his semester average to a B. Still, I am very pleased. I think a trip to WDW is in order!:cool1:

That is great news!! Way to go on bringing the grades up and working so hard!

Becky - Lands End was the first place I thought of, but that doesn't sound like it will work. You can order suits from them, and if they don't work you can return them to Sears, but you lose whatever you paid in shipping. Been there, done that.
There used to be a custom swimsuit shop called "Tan Fanny" in St. Petersburg, FL. My friend was going there to have a suit made, but that was almost 20 years ago (God, I am OLD!) so I don't remember many details!:rotfl:

I don't know of any, but I will keep an eye out for a solution for you. In today's day and age, there has to be someone out there that can custom-make a swimsuit!

Hmm. Under the heading Examples of Medical Payments You Cannot Deduct
- Illegal operations or drugs.

Good to know, I suppose.:rolleyes1

this is the swimsuit that I'm considering for this summer. I still have 10 lbs to go so we'll have to see.

Cute! What does the back look like?

Speaking of swimsuits, have you guys heard that Subway commerical on the radio? It cracks me up! The guy and his wife are at the drive-through. He orders a pot belly with a side of love handles and a double chin. She orders a bah-donk-a-donk butt, extra flabby for just $.49 more, and a side of thunder thighs. There is more to it as the girl taking the order offers them more stuff. It is SOOOO funny!:lmao:
