I can just imagine arguing with Alyssa over the guest list. "No Alyssa, you can't invite your college friends, because 55 DDAs are attending." :rotfl:

But I sincerely hope we meet before 2030! :teeth:

Amy :)

You are going to let Alyssa get married before she is 30?!?!?!?! Julia is not allowed to date until she is 30 - which is what makes her arranged marriage with Davis so convenient - she won't have to date him

besides - how can they not love each other - I know she would have great in-laws - BK can be her MOH since Steve won't let me have a sister for Julia  - he loves Disney and he is a cutie pie - I am thinking the arranged marriage thing isn't such a bad idea at all!!! Do you know how long it would take her to find someone that perfect on her own?

Just don't post this on the CB...they'll eat you alive and tell you you're a horrible parent. :teeth:

I hope Julia1234 is feeling better soon!

Amy :)
No kidding -

but my kids are happy and well adjusted - I would take that over some of the brats I hear about over there!!

Kristine,

Sending hugs and pixie dust to your family.

You better be careful or you'll be on Dr. Phil. He had a show about mothers trying to "arrange" their kids marriage just a couple of weeks ago. :rotfl:

Since Kevin doesn't post anymore, I will quote him:

"I'm not quite sure if Nick is the right one for Alyssa quite yet. I must leave her options open for a little while longer, although he is quite cute and would most likely make the short list." :rotfl:

Back to me now. I got married at 27 and I found the perfect guy. :lovestruc

His dilemma? What does he get her for Valentine’s Day? Jewelry is probably not appropriate as they have only been dating a little over a month. I suggested flowers, candy and a book, but he doesn’t know what she reads.

Sorry this is :offtopic: but it reminded reminded me of something someone said to me today. A lady came in to my store today with her Husband or boyfriend. She was probably in her mid forties. They were together a while whatever the case. She asked me which I would rather have for Valentine's Day a dozen of roses or a Black and Decker Scumbuster.

I said the roses. She said to me well you are too young, because the roses will die. So I want a Scumbuster.

No matter which answer I would give I would be wrong. :confused3 Depending on who I was talking to. I was trying not to :lmao: .

So who wants a Black and Decker Scumbuster for Valentine's Day?? :rotfl:

I just wanted to give a big Thank you! to everyone here.
Without everyones help, encouragement, and designs, I would not have even attempted to make shirts, autograph pages, and mousekeeping envelopes for our upcoming trip.
Kate , thank you, thank you, thank you, for all you have done! Your tips have been so helpful to me! Without you and the others here, I know I wouldn't have been able to do it.
I know that my daughter's birthday trip will be one that she will always remember. I will cherish these memories forever!
Amy, thanks for putting together the memorial collection for Kate and Nancy's grandmother! You are truly incredible!
Again, I cannot thank everyone enough! You are truly wonderful people! :grouphug:

That would be awesome - I would love a free trip to LA!!!!! :thumbsup2

Then I could head over to Disneyland!!!!! :woohoo:

I was just looking at some of the pictures over on AllEars from the EE Preview, and a woman in one of the pictures looks like she's wearing one of your designs! (At least, if memory serves...)

2nd couple profiled - Jean Miller.

I did have one more thing to add:

Although my Disney trip isn't until Dec 31 2006 I have been trying to pick which days and which parks and where will we eat. This is what I came up with.

12/31 Sunday:
Animal Kingdom....eat back at the house since we are supposed to be able to see the fireworks from the pool area.

1/1 Monday:
MGM....3:30pm parade.....This will be my Mom's 60th birthday and she will have 7 grandkids and 2 great-grand kids all with her. What are my chances in getting her to be the Grand Marshall of the parade.....I'm going to try!!!
5pm Hollywood & Vine....hopefully w/ Buzz & Woody.....I guess there are rumors that this will turn into a Character Meal

1/2 Tuesday:
Magic Kingdom....2:30 Crystal Palace w/ Pooh and 8pm Spectromagic Parade and then Wishes

1/3 Wednesday:
Epcot....7pm Princess Storybook in Norway and then 9pm Illuminations

1/4 Thursday:
Polynesian w/ Lilo.....free day-pick any park

1/5 Friday:
Magic Kingdom....8am Chef Mickey....3pm parade and finish up any missed rides at any other parks

Of course all of this is subject to change based on me getting the ADR's that I am wanting. But I have to start with something. With 14 adults and 9 kids I have to start somewhere.

Now I am really going to bed......GOODNIGHT TO ALL!!! Lynn

I have to admit I'm a little past the flower days (unless they were hand picked lilacs or something) but I sure wouldn't want a scumbuster!!!!! Disney dollars sounds good to me too.

Hey guys! I could use some prayers and pixie dust this way... but not for me, this time!

My mom just found out this morning (and has subsequently been on the phone ALL day, LITERALLY) that her paypal account was fraduently charged almost $2000.00. The short of it is that the person who wanted the money cannot touch it right now, as a huge investigaion has been started.... but they won't credit my mom's account either. This is also from an account that does not have $2000.00 in it. SO.... she's obviously stressed. She thought she might be able to transfer money into the above account so that it does not get overdrawn, etc, as it was never meant for large purchases. She has been advised not to do that, however, until the investigation is complete.

So now, she's just having to sit back and watch as she incurs fees (which, ultimately will be reversed... but still), can't touch her account, worries about anything else (ebay, etc) that was supposed to come out of that account that won't be able to, etc. All while the bank AND paypal both say they can't do anything about it.... no holds on the payment, no reversal, no cancelling, etc. Nothing. She also has to fill out affadavits (for unauthroized use) for paypal, forms from the bank, a form with ebay (even though she wasn't even involved in the laptop "purchase" in question), etc -- which totally isn't her responsibility, but something she's stuck doing anyway.

She's a little stressed, to say the least. Add this to the fact that she was supposed to be dealing with the internet company today, which is still not working, plus a million other thing she does on a daily basis. She's just now starting Cassi's school day, so she's beyond frustrated.

Prayers that this is quickly resolved (without too terribly much (more) hassle), are greatly appreciated!

OMG. And I just reactivated my account so I could send Amy money..... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Oy.

Hope when I catch up, all this will be over and her account will be back to normal... :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

And he knows her name already! :rotfl: Of course, Tammi may want someone a little more "mature" for her precious Alyssa! :rotfl:

Personally I probably wouldn't want the flowers either. But to me they would be much better than a Scumbuster.

Perhaps she is a cleaning fanatic. :confused3

She kinda got mad at me when I said flowers.

I hope ya'll don't mind me posting this here instead of the restaurant page. But I really value ya'lls opinion.

My very LARGE family trip in December 06-Jan 07 will consist of 8 kids from the age of 2yrs to 13yrs. Of course not everyone will want to do the same Character Meals. These are the ones I have suggested to them.

MK - The Castle
MK - Pooh & Friends
Contemporary - Chef Mickey

Has anyone done any others that they would recommend??

Thanks for the input.....Lynn

I've done them all Lynn. My favorites for a large crowd like that would be Pooh or Chef Mickey. We had 8 at the Castle, but there was more interaction with the 8 of us at CP. Plus, the food was a buffet, so everyone had something they liked. The most I have had at CM was 5, but it was so much fun... :yay: :yay:
