I finally made a trip to the doctor's today. Apparently I have a sinus infection. I feel like cr*p. I hope that the antibiotics help with this sore throat that won't let up. I have tried every sore throat remedy that I can think of and It just won't let up. I'm taking motrin and tylenol around the clock. Usually when I don't feel well I sleep, this time I feel so horrible that I can't sleep. Send a miracle cure this way.

I know everyone has been seeing the "server busy" message often and it's very frustrating. We just keep getting busier and the servers run out of steam. At one point today we had about 2000 users on.
I'm looking for short term solutions but the real answer is another server upgrade and that takes a little time to arrange. I think we have outgrown anything I can do with 2 servers and we are going to have to move to a server farm of 3 servers so it needs quite a bit of research. I'll try to get it done as fast as I can!

Kristine - Here's my cure for the blues: I make something; chocolate chip cookies, brownies, cake, etc. I can't eat it, but smelling it baking really trips something in my brain and I just have to smile. You can let your kids eat the treats, or better yet, plate them up and take them to your neighbors for a surprise treat. Everyone gives them at Christmas, think what a hero you'll be if you give plates of goodies for no reason at all!

Seriously, the smell of home baked goods really does something to alter a bad mood into a good one.

If that fails, a nice bubble bath with candles, chocolates and a good book simply can't be beat!

I just have to say I am SOOOOOO impressed with your willpower and your attitude. You talk about making all these yummy things, and NEVER complain about not being able to eat them. I would be such a baby, and you are AWESOME! How lucky everyone is to have you in their lives!

You should have seen my grandpug when I took her to the kennel. She looked up at me and I swear she called me a witch.. ug: ug: When she ran through the house looking for my DS and Ddil, and couldn't find them, she put her paws over her nose and cried. I think she thinks they deserted her. Poor little girl. And then, the next time she sees them, they'll have the baby. Gonna take some adjustment.

All I can say about the grandson is... he's so cute. I'll try to get a picture up as soon as I recharge my batteries in my camera and send a pic to his other grandparents and family....

Well, I wanted to catch up before I posted my good news. I was blessed with another grandson Sunday morning!


He weighed in at 6 lbs 13 ounces, 20.5 inches long. Lots of hair. Baby and Mom are doing great. My son didn't faint, so it was a good day.

I'm off to take the grandpug the kennel, so I can go back to the hospital and play with the baby.

The first thing I told him we were going to Disney in May 2007!

I am feeling somewhat better. I suppose it's a combination of things, weather, bad work day, worried about a surgical procedure tomorrow. I have a strange growth on my finger that has attached to the bone and has to be removed. DH says I'll have to use my nose to click the mouse Gotta love him...

I tried posting this earlier but the server seems to have eaten it.

My cures for the blues:

Coloring

bubbles or something else that I used to do as a kid ie chinese jump rope.

going into the car closing all the windows and screaming

and if none of that works and I still need a good cry but can't seem to do it.... I put a tear jerker in and watch it.....good cleaning of the tear ducts perks me right up. Chocolate also helps

So finally this morning, everyone is going to school, right?? WRONG!!! We all get up, get dressed, hair brushed and then 10 minutes before we walk out the door --- Grace throws up!!!!!!!

THis child has not been to school since the Friday before MLK Day! This is her 6th day of missed school!!

THen she spend 15 minutes crying so hard because I would not let her go to school, I thought she would throw up again. Now she is watching Disny Channel!

Will this never end????????
