You and your family remain in my prayers. This will be a hard time for you, but I hope you know that we are here for you! I hope that you will be able to enjoy your time at WDW with everything else that has happened. Remember that your mom is probably really happy that you are doing such a wonderful thing with your children, making some happy memories at such a difficult time. That's a wonderful thing for them, and for you as well.

Please let us know if you need anything!

I was sitting here trying to figure out what to say Marci and Glynis you did it so I'll just add :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

My day. Got up and took my pain medicine (wanted to start the day off right). Bowling went well and all 3 boys had above average games. Best of all we were out of there about an hour earlier than usual :thumbsup2 We went to the dealership and changed my Dad's tires and Chris's from summer to winter. Then we came home and had a quick lunch. Colby and I took a nice nap. I wasn't feeling too bad when I got up so I headed into my bedroom to try to find some sort of order in all the chaos. What I should have done is take another pain killer, but I was hoping that the new reflux med was the charm (wrong). Anyway, Chris helped me finish the wrapping and we got all the mess picked up, thrown out or otherwise taken care of. Tomorrow I just need to vacuum and dust and that room is done :cool1: My mother had called and wanted to make a quick road trip to South Royalton to go see the light display at the Joseph Smith Homestead. Glynis will know what I'm referring too as Alan covered an event there last year (?) It was beautifully decorated with millions of lights. We were able to drive through. Here is a link to some pictures. I did not have my camera, but these are better than I would have taken as we were moving.

The ride about did me in though. I had taken the pain meds as we left the house and I even ate a piece of pizza to make sure that I had food in my tummy, but I got so nauseous. I still have a really upset tummy and I'm not sure if it is med related or if I am just ill. Nick and Hunter have both complained of upset tummies since yesterday so it really could be either. I'm tired, but I'm not sure if my tummy will allow me to sleep. It is so frustrating.

Tomorrrow I hope to get more of my house cleaned as the end of the week is going to be hectic.

Thanks for the link to the pictures. Wow, it does look gorgeous!

I'm sorry that you're still feeling icky! I'll keep my fingers crossed that tomorrow is a much better day!

Congrats!!! I must have hit 5000 tonight too and didn't even realize it :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was gonna comment at 5001 but I didn't. Congrats Deb and Elizabeth on 5000 posts.

I also hit 3000 posts tonight.

Bernadette--- what a wonderful card in the mail today!! Thanks your kids are so cute!! :goodvibes

Our day started at the Scholastic Warehouse Sale....I had such a hard time not leaving with all of the books!! The other couple of sales have been so so...really easy to come out with nothing. This time we came out with a box!!
Then I got 5 inches cut off my hair....Tracy said she didn't want to scalp me for Christmas...though it would take alot of cutting to do that!!
Then it was Costco and grocery store shopping.
Then we came home made choc. chip cookies, choc. snack cake, the marshmallow s'mores, one batch of fudge, chocolate dipped pretzels, sugar cookies with reese's on them, the chocolate covered cookie balls. None was completely made from scratch and but it was fun.....but we have decided the girls aren't marathon bakers and my foot problems have to do with standing for too long of periods...my tootsies are throbbing!!

We are singing at church in the morning so we have to be there for a 7:30 call time...I may need toothpicks for my eyeballs!!

Today was quite a full day here! We had breakfast at our church at 8:00 this morning. I made a french toast bake, so I had to be up early enough to get it cooked before we left. The breakfast was so yummy! There were muffins, and french toast, and scrambled egg casseroles, fresh fruit and juice. We ate and visited with our neighbors. Then Santa made an appearance and all the kids got to sit on his lap. After that, he had the kids sit in a circle around him and spoke to them about the importance of remembering the true meaning of Christmas. It really made an impact on my kids as they talked about it all day long. After Santa left, each family was given a gingerbread house kit. Alan and Jacob and Katie got to work putting that together, while I took Mary and Leslie to a birthday party for their cousin. Unfortunately, the gingerbread house didn't quite make it home. Alan ignored my suggestion that he let the frosting set up for about 20 minutes before decorating it. Nope. He was in too much of a hurry, so it fell apart from the weight of the frosting and candy! Oh well, at least they had fun decorating it!

We all met up at noon and headed to Sears to pick up our family picture for the year! I'll try to scan it in and post it here tomorrow. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out! Then we stopped for haircuts for Alan and Jacob. Once that was done, we went to the library for about an hour. Finally we were on our way home! We made dinner, and then popped some popcorn to eat while we watched Elf! We love that movie! Glad it was on TV tonight!

Now, the kids are in bed, and I'm catching up here! Tomorrow should be much easier. Church in the morning, and then nothing!!! I plan to clean my kitchen and get ready for next week's round of Christmas baking!

Night, everyone! I'm off to try to finish my book! See you tomorrow!

We got Peter & the Star Catchers and the next book in the series today...I can't wait to start them and I was a hero to Abi....I got #7 & 8 in the Series of Unfortunate Events for her, hard to say no to books that are half off the already great Scholastic prices....funny thing is I already have so many of the books. :confused3 :rotfl:

I think I may get a complex...the third night in a row I come on and everyone says night!! :teeth:

Actually I am also getting off....tomorrow has church and then we are doing the grandparents gift....we got aprons and are going to personalize them in the afternoon, also need to put the cousin packages together, all needs to get in the mail on Monday if at all possible.

Good Morning my DDA family!!

Good Morning my DDA family!!

I'm still here, working on my trip report and was last night, I am determined to finish it, although its a few months late.

today I got up did some decorating, baked some cookies, went to AC Moore and ended up not buying anything, as I knew if I waited in the line I would be late to work. So I headed to work. After work I went to Walmart and came on here and have been working on my trip report.

we had a fun day. Had my nephews birthday party. Got my hair cut.
Tomorrow is my grandmothers Christmas party after church, then Jeff's work party is tomorrow night.

Good morning!

Denise thanks for keeping us posted on Marci!

Marci :grouphug: to you, hope you have a wonderful time.
