Thanks, Kate! I really appreciate it!

How are you feeling today? Is the knee pain any better?

I woke up in tears at 6 this morning it hurt so bad and was prepared for another bad day -I couldn't believe there had been no improvement overnight - I fell back asleep and slept rather soundly until 10:00 and when I woke up I would say the pain was about 1/2 of what it was!! I am getting around much better - I still can't really be alone but at least I can do a little more - I am at my parents and Steve went to spend the day with the kids!

I still can't really do anything - walking to the bathroom is about all I can handle! But now I feel like I can at least see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel!!!!

I'm so glad that it's a bit better, today! I'll just keep praying for noticeable improvement each day! I'm so glad that you have your parents nearby to be able to help out! And Steve definitely gets the good husband award for taking the kids to give you a break.

So, how is Nick liking school? Has he started, yet, or is it this week?

He had orientation on Wednesday and he loved it!

His teacher came to our house to meet us last Thursday and showed him a picture of one of the little girls in his class - first words out my sons mouth "She's my girlfriend"

we were cracking up - I guess the teacher knows who to watch out for now!! I keep asking if he wants to stay home with me and the answer is always a resounding NO!!

His first official day is Tuesday - he is so excited - his class is next door to Julia's so I think that will make the transition easier for him - she has already promised to walk him to his class each day!! (whether he likes it or not ;))

He will do so well! Having Julia around will help immensely! The twins start on Tuesday as well, and we'll see how that goes. They are both excited, now, but I never know how Leslie will react when push comes to shove!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Nick, if you'll keep your fingers crossed for Leslie and Mary!

Hi,
I am on 1 pc scanning all my photos so I can post them..agh! I need a digital because this takes too long. I am on Dana's laptop so I can post.
I have over 200 photos so I am trying to be picky on what I post.

Kate, hope you are feeling better each day.

Dawn, hope Caroline is home now & doing well.

OK, I looked all over our grocery store for roasted soy nuts today to no avail. Anyone have a clue where I can buy them?? Thanks! :)

Thanks. I didn't see the difference until we looked at pictures today. I really see it in John. He's in 36" pants again!

Denise-

Perfect pictures!!

You all look so cute!!

Before I head upstairs to make supper I wanted to tell you all something:

Every once in awhile I am awakened in the middle of the night with a voice telling me to pray for somebody or something. The last time it told me to pray for all the pregnant ladies I knew...at that exact time a friend hit a rough patch in her pregnancy/life and felt the comfort of prayers.

To make a long story shorter....I was awakened at 1 my time this morning to pray for some very specific DDA'ers and some general prayers for all the DDA....so I am hoping those I was asked to pray for have had a good day. I also am telling you this because I know prayer works and you all have been in my prayers constantly...even when I think should be sleeping!! :teeth:

I just uploaded about 15 more pictures of my room. I am very pleased how it turned out.

Denise...you and John look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Practically skinny!!! :teeth:

This is our update: The 1st photo is from June, the next 2 are from last night. I can see a big difference in Bill's face. But, we still have a long way to go!!

Denise, CONGRATULATIONS to you and John! You have done a terrific job! I also LOVE your room. You have given me a few ideas for mine. I need to get in this week and really put some of myself into it.

Theresa, thanks for sharing that with us. I couldn't sleep last night and spent time praying as well.

Kristine, you and Bill have also done a terrific job! CONGRATS!

Theresa......I think that is wonderful. If you don't mind I would like to add to your prayer request list.......or.......maybe God knew that I was needing some prayers and this helped me open up.

I had posted a few months ago for Denise to post a prayer request for my family. Well........older son and his wife are having problems again. He will probably be here later today to move in. I am hoping they will start some counseling this week and pull it back together. They have two adorable little boy......Jake 3 and Noah 5 months.

Thanks

I will pray for your son and his family. I hope that counseling will help them pull it back together.

Kristine and Denise.....WOW!!!!! What a great job ya'll are doing. You are both really inspiring me. I shared the pictures w/ David and told them that if ya'll could do it we can to.

UPDATE: I just got off the phone with Deb. They are still on their camping trip and having a great time. Lot's of rain today from Ernesto so they took the kids to Chuck E Cheese earlier today. I gave her updates on June, Caroline and Kate and she will check back when she gets in tomorrow.
