Shirt question...can you use the light transfer paper on a light gray shirt? Or would you use the dark transfer paper? I have a mickey picture in front of the epcot ball so his eyes & hands would come out gray?

Egads!!! How long has it been since we've had one of these???

Use the dark. Whatever is white on the design will come out white on the shirt.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll make it until after the 10th. My sister's official due date is the 7th. Odds are that the baby will come in last November, but I don't want to miss being there! I'm debating between the 10th-17th or the 13th-20th right now.

Beth, I love my car!!!

I had an old VW Jetta before I had three kids. I loved that car, though I secretly lusted after a Rabbit convertible like they had on Remington Steele (yes, I'm dating myself). I loved my VW. It was just too tight with three kids (and it was 13 years old at that time), so I moved on to a minivan.

I'm going to get a picture from her mother. The tree is huge! It split in two. We still don't know how much damage there is because they haven't moved the tree.

Yes, I love Miss Blue too, she just does not have a trunk :rotfl:

A shirt question? Are you sure you are on the right thread? :rotfl:

I would use the dark if you have it. Otherwise, yes, Mickey's eyes and hands will come out grey. Also, I've found the dark paper more long-lasting and durable (though maybe I was doing something wrong with the light paper). I plan to use the dark paper for all of my shirts, even if I end up making some on white.

Well, it looks like the X chromosome reigns supreme in my family yet again. My sister had her ultrasound last night and it looks like it's a girl. I told Kristi that I shouldn't have doubted it because she determined the order over 15 years ago. She has said for years that she would have a girl named Kassie Rene, a boy named Connor Michael and a girl named something that I can't remember. Well, she's 3 for 3 on the genders and 2 for 3 on the names. I think they are planning to name the baby after his mother in some way, but don't know if it will be her real name or nickname.

Also, the tech and doctor said that one of the baby's kidneys is slightly dialated. He isn't concerned about it and will just check in again in a few months, but does anyone know what it can mean?
Tia

my brother's little boy kidney was large in his first ultrasound as well

it is an indicator for Down's syndrome - but they would have looked at a lot of other signs then as well - and if they told her there was only an enlarged kidney - it probably means the baby has to pee!!! :teeth: honestly that is what it means - it took two more ultrasounds before his kidney was back to normal - and he is perfectly fine

I am sure if they suspected Downs in any way shape or form they would have expressed their concerns to her!!

Morning all. Lynn, Julia, and I are meeting Terry for dinner tonight at Olive Garden at 7pm. Should be wonderful! I'll take the camera and get lots of pictures.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Wish I were there too, even with the 7 lanes of traffic!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi Anne Marie,
Yes, his eyes and his hands would be gray.. I decided that a pale yellow shirt would be okay with the light transfer paper. It's a night shirt. :goodvibes

those of you with a DVC waitlist -
how long did it take it to come through?

I am hoping that we get BWV or BCV but not sure if we will - I am so impatient - I know it won't come in one day - just wondering about how long each of you waited!!!

That seems to be the case with my shirts too.

When I waitlisted for BWV for October, I was able to book one night immediately, which was on 4/4. I would check the DVC website daily, because I was so anxious. On 4/5 I had another night and on 4/11 I had the third night. On 5/24 I had my fourth and final night. Did you waitlist on a nightly basis with autobooking?
