She does it all, how would we all live without her :Pinkbounc

In all seriousness, I honestly don't know what I would do without ANY of you! I was thinking about it today, and I feel closer to you guys than I do to most of my neighbors and family members as well. There's something about having common interests that has really bonded us as a group, I think. I just feel so comfortable talking to all of you!

I am just so excited for the DL meet and the half marathon where I am going to be able to finally meet some of you! That will be the highlight for me! Alan told me the other day that he's so glad I have this group, as I'm happier than he's seen me in a long time. I told him that I get unconditional support from you guys and that means the world to me! So THANKS, ONE AND ALL!

Glynis - One of my coworkers is making sure she runs in a marathon in every state. She did the full and the half last year and had so much fun! She's looking forward to a marathon in Hawaii, I think she just ran a marathon in Seattle and Reno in the past two weeks. And you better be contacting me if you need a sponsor for your October race!

Wow! That's quite a goal! Good for her!

I'll let you know on the breast cancer 5K. I haven't gotten all the details from them, so I'm not sure what's up. Thanks for the offer!

definately buy the cruise passporter - it has answered a lot of my questions!!!!!

One thing I have learned - is that there is not point in stressing about what your dining rotation is - you get what you get and if you aren't happy - you can choose another on board -

the most experienced cruisers say it doesn't matter which one you get - and the passporter has a formula that should tell you what your dining rotation will be

Heads up though! Although I still banked on the same thing, because the passporter was dead on in most cases.

People aren't getting those rotations with any frequency anymore. And we were no different, we got about the opposite of what they predicted. So I will agree with Kate to just NOT put too much stock in it until you get your KTTW card. :goodvibes

Kate -- you've already done your homework! There is lots of debate about dining.....many different opinions. Right now they are using staggered dining, so I requested the latest main (first seating) through the concierge manager. Even the first late seating -- 8 p.m.-- is much later than my kids eat. Some people would rather be in Lumiere's (fanciest rotation restaurant) on formal night, so that's how they pick.

I will be on Main Street cheering (in spirit)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really wish I could be there to cheer you on in person. What a journey that will represent!

We were there two years ago when they held the Danskin Women's Triathlon. We went to MK early to cheer on the runners as they came in. It was very exciting and moving for me even as a spectator.

Yup, it's real now! Before I was always sure that there would be something come up that would make Alan say No! However, now that the marathon fees are paid, the flights paid for, and the place to stay worked out, I know that he will not back out! Get this, now he thinks we'll have time for Sea World, USF and the space stuff, too. How do I get this guy to think in reality!

Oh my, we really need to help Alan don't we. You'd need a week to do even a half day at each patk. Make sure you get the best taste in your two days so he'll get you all back there ASAP! :thumbsup2

I need lots of info, Marci. When to book excursions, best dining rotation, better to eat early/late, Palos (which night is best), etc.

and I hope your kitty is ok!

I like the APL rotation, we then get to go to Animator Palate three times, we did Palo's on the Monday which was the first sea day, that also put us in Parrot Cay for Pirate night which is the tropical theme.
We prefer to eat late as for early you are still enjoying the afternoon and then you have to go get ready for dinner, this way the kids can also eat early at the buffet/room sevice etc and then go to camp and you can relax over dinner.

You can tell by his smile is is so proud to have lost his 1st tooth :goodvibes I love the BTB tooth bag!
