I'm catching up all out of order so if my posts seem out order, you'll know why!

I'm just back from my ultrasound and dr's appt. The baby weighs 4.2 pounds! She also told me the baby has lots of hair. I was surprised that she could see that on the ultrasound and surprised that she has hair since I was bald until I was 18 months old and Christopher was bald until he was 14 months old.

My appt. went well. My dr. did say the baby will be short like me .

Thank you all for the good vibes! We are back from the specialist...the short version:

They would like is sugar level to be 100...120 on a bad day, his is 250!!!

He begins daily medication today (oral) has to monitor daily via the finger stab system..or I should say, I have to monitor it...since this is the way it seems to be going.

Besides excessive thirst, he has no other symptoms...

Diet, exercise, medicine, monitor & we go back in 3 weeks....

It sounds like you are on the right path since you've already started working on the diet. I'll keep you both in our thoughts & prayers while he is getting his sugar level down.

Marci - I think I missed your original post, but I just wanted to send you some prayers and for Jessie. I hope the vet was able to help her this afternoon and she is on the mend soon.

I'm so glad all is well with Caroline! Short is not a bad thing for a girl! She will be petite and dainty! I can't wait until we get to see her baby pictures. Hopefully you won't keep us waiting as long as Kevin and Amy!

Well, I have some terrific news!!!! Alan booked our flights to Florida for the half marathon! As soon as he gets home I'll have the dates and I can get a ticker up!

He's also working on renting a house for us while we are there. His sister and brother in law are coming with us as well as another brother!

I'm so excited about this trip. It will be very quick for us, only 2 days in the parks, so we are choosing the 2 we really want to see: Magic Kingdom and Epcot! Be sure that I will be coming to all of you for advice and tips on the whole thing.

I'm so happy!!!!! Now to really pump up my workout so I don't disgrace myself at the half!

I was also bald at birth but both my girls had long black hair when they were born. After about 6 months, it turned very blond!!! They still have blond hair.

The length of her femur is a little behind the rest of her. I hope it catches up or maybe the tech made an error. I'm not quite 5' 2" so I really hope she's at least several inches taller than me.

I talked with Theresa about 15 minutes before she was scheduled to get on her flight. She sounded fine. We had a nice chat. She is looking forward to meeting everyone this week-end. I so wish that I could come!

Ummm...y'all might have to wait longer! I was in the hospital 5 days with Christopher and I've been approved by my insurance co. for 5 with this delivery. I'll only stay that long if I need to (which I did with Christopher). So...y'all might have to wait a week!

Paula, have you thought about doing your embroidery work as a side business? One of my team members has a side business and she has a lot of business. She is in the middle of nowhere so if she has business, I would think that you would be able to have it too. If you haven't thought about it, you should. Your pillowcases are awesome and would make neat gifts.

Tomorrow I will be 35. My mom asked me last night if I felt 35. I told her no because I have two more days until I am!!

How's the first day w/o Steve going? The first few days for me are ok, it's the "I miss Daddy" part that makes me sad. The it get good for a while and then they go wild and crazy. That is when I beg for the time to fly by.
