Thanks!! at my party I was the youngest (other than the kids) by a decade....I have always hung out with the "older" crowd!!

I think being a young parent will help in HS as I can remember all to well what happened in HS. Plus I am still a cool mom!!

Are you saying I'm not a cool mom since I'm one of those a decade older??!! :lmao:

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT THESE PAST FEW WEEKS!!!

The doctor's office just called and told me that Nicks test looks normal!

I still want to talk with Nick's doctor to find out what caused the original test to be abnormal -

but the nurse said that the echo is much more accurate than an EKG!!

I can not even tell you all how relieved I am!!!!

WHAT WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!! I'm so happy for all of you! My guess is that there will be some celebrating tonight, right?

Kate,

I am glad Nick's tests came back negative! I am sure you feel like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We finally got to McDonald's today..got my Captain Jack beenie!!! :cheer2:
They said they didn't have anymore so I very politely asked if they could check & wouldn't ya know it, they found 4!! So I got 1 for me & 3 for my kiddies.

I bought the 1st POC movie today at Target too..I am guess I am on pirate overload.

Went to the Dr's today. Check up on my high blood pressure. 130/90. Dr. wants me to watch my salt & try to exercise more. I told her how I have been feeling lately (pretty crappy actually) & she said I could be pregnant (which I highly doubt) or something to do with the BP. I had my blood taken today & am schedule for any ecco this week. I told her I wanted everything checked before I ride anything at Disneyworld since there have been so many horror stories lately. oh gosh, if i was preggers we'd need to look for another house!!!

Sorry about your BP. It's really a pain, isn't it? Mine got very high right before my surgery, but so far, I'm back on the low end of normal!

I don't know whether or not to say "I hope your PG!" I have loved living through Amy's, Dawn's and Angela's pregnancies, and now they are almost all done! Another DDA baby would be fun! However, I won't wish you anything that you don't want!

Vicki has minnie chosen her wedding invitations yet. How about the cermoney music. have her and mickey registered yet. :teeth:

Nope. She is an indecisive mouse and can't make up her mind. :rotfl: I guess I'm going to have to start the thread so that people can give their recommendations to help her make some decisions.

This is another favorite dish the kids loved. If they hear I am making it, they find a reason to come over. Here we can get smoked sausage at the meat counter at our local grocery store. I cut it into bite size pieces and put that and potatoes and green beans together in a crock pot for the whole day. I also season with onion and garlic salt or powder and salt and pepper.
Add water to just cover everything. Sorry there is not exact measurements because over the years I have just added what I think we will eat with a little leftover.

Yes please I loved planning my wedding. I would love to help plan another. Maybe if she had some opinions it would make her and your Job a little easier.

Oven Porcupines

Ok, who has been the official DDA secretary and collecting all of these recipes?

Does anyone have a nice file of them that they can send to me, please?

This is a very favorite recipe of the family.

Oven Porcupines

1 lb ground beef 1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/2 c uncooked regular rice 1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 c water 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1/3 chopped onion 1 c water
1 tsp salt 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp celery salt

Heat oven to 350. Mix meat, rice, 1/2 c water, onion, salts, garlic powder and pepper. Shape mixture into rounded balls. (Now since it is just DH and I, I use less ground beef and I use a ice cream scoop and end up with 6 balls.) Place meatballs in ungreased baking dish 8x8x2. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over meatballs. Cover with foil and bake 45 min. Uncover; bake 15 min longer. 4 to 6 servings

I usually serve green beans with this dish.

Terry -- this sounds a lot like my MIL's recipe for the filling for her stuffed cabbages!

Well I have my 3 & they are all a blessing. My DH has always wanted more. I went through so much physically with the pregancies & births that I was quite happy with 3. However, if God thinks I can handle 4 then I would be very pleased about it..."Johnny" or "Meagan" would be a nice addition but I just don't think I am...I think I feel like crap because I eat terribly & don't get much exercise unless you count running around with the kids.
