Good to hear from you Elin. When did you get your new tags?? Or are the Dis Musician and Piano teacher ones old and I just don't recall seeing them?

No new tags, Becky. :) When I got my hen party tag the TF made those permanent ones too.

Welcome back, Elin!! I hope you had a great time. You didn't miss anything really. I had just kind of narrowed down the date a few days ago. I forgot a couple of lines in the response to Deb so I'll finish it now...After Terra and I fly out, Phil will stay here for another week or two to enjoy the peace and quiet before submersing himself in my crazy (and loud!, but in a good way :thumbsup2 ) family. He will then load up the stuff that we end up taking and haven't already shipped and meet ups with us Labor Day weekend probably.

Tia -- sounds like things are starting to work out for you all. I am glad you are getting to go back to St. Louis since I knew that was really what you all wanted to fo!

Theresa's b-day party went well although she had to run around and get some stuff for it. Her head was feeling better but her headach returned.

Nope still don't get the fascination!! :confused3

I am with you, Theresa! But I do want to go see the movie anyway.

My middle-of-the-night P3 is over. Don't know why I woke up and couldn't sleep. Maybe it is that I miss the sound of the waves... Anyway, I will see you all sometime later on today between or after classes. Have a great day everyone! :sunny:

Morning DDA--
You would not believe how sunburned i am this morning..so much for not burning! I am off to work, but may not be going to class tonight--Im allowed two skips, so i may just use this one and just use one for the next few weeks..i was up about 4 times last night, due to not getting comfortable with this darn sunburn..Ill see how tired iam as the day goes on, but i may be here earlier than i thought!

Hope you all have a great monday!!

Mornin'

Has it been decided what the agenda is for the meet this weekend? Just want to get an idea! I will only be able to do Saturday. I have family coming up on Sunday and now have a party on the calendar.

Oh I forgot, My baby finally slept in her big girl bed last night! We had tried it a few months ago and it was horrible. So we went back to the crib. But while on vacation starting the climbing out again. Eric set the bed up yesterday and she napped in it and went to bed in it. She was actually very excited about it!

You will have to check out Mackinac Island as well. It is world famous. The movie "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour was filmed there. You get to the island by boat and it is a gorgeous trip with a beautiful view of the bridge. The island has no motor vehicles (well, except for the fire truck that hopefully no one ever sees because that would mean there is a fire). You get to the hotels by horse drawn carriage, you can rent bikes to ride around the island, they are famous for their fudge. It is an absolutely unique place and I love it. My favorite time of year there is during the Lilac Festival - there are thousands and thousands of lilacs (which is my favorite).

Here's the website link:

Thanks for the link. Lilacs are my favorite too. That festival will be a good thing to get my mom to come up for a visit. She loves them as well.

Naughty, naughty, but oh so worth it! My room is painted the color of Mickey's shoes and before I hung the drapes and got the new comforter, I was seriously considering repainting. Now I'll just add another coat of paint....
I love it Stephanie!!

It looks like Terra and I will fly out sometime around Aug 15. We are living with my parents for awhile until we get settled/money saved/etc. My other main reason for wanting to do that is to give my poor mom a break. I will get to take over the cooking, cleaning, pool and yard work for awhile as well as try to get her basement and garage cleaned out. Mom works at a grocery store, plus watches my sister's kids on the days she is off. Add to that trying to keep up with a 10yo at 50+yo and she's a little tired. More so, just doesn't have any free time to do the things she wants to do both alone and with my sister. I, luckily, don't have to look for a job. I am get to go back to staying home with Terra! And will also watch my sister's kids. We're working out a deal where she pays me a little less than she would the current babysitter saving her some money and giving me some Disney money. Phil is going to find a job as soon as we get there. Once we get settled to I am going to look into a few work at home ideas that I have had over the last few years to see if I can get something going for myself as well.
Tia, Sounds like your plans have really come together. What a great situation for all! Don't you love it when things work out like that? A little :wizard: for a smooth move
