I have been watching for that all night - I like the symmetry of the number - everyone has been posting SO SLOW - I figured there would be no problem - but no Steffy and Jennifer had to post at the EXACT same moment!

Steffy,
How's your ankle doing?? How was PT? I hope it is feeling somewhat better and you are taking care of it and not walking all over the place.

Please ice it, elevate it and stay off it as much as possible

PT was surprisingly good. I only have 2 more sessions. My ankle held up really well. I still think it was a good choice for me not to go to the mall on Sunday. I think that saved it.

Thanks for asking!

They had to do it the old fashioned way. He has mesh in his stomach from 2 hernia operations so that prevented them from doing it laparoscopic. He's in a lot of pain, but his gallbladder was inflamed and blocked so the surgery had to be done. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. He should be able to go home on Friday.
dawn - that is great news!!

Here are the pictures of Thomas in the cockpit as promised.

Just to recap the story: As I was coming on the plane, I asked the Flight Attendant if I could have a pair of wings for Mickey (Thomas) he teased me and said "Oh those are really for you". I told him the story of Thomas and he came back later with a pair of wings and I immediately put them on Thomas. As I was getting off the plane, I gave him information on how he could read about the Pal Mickey's travels and he asked if I would like a picture of Thomas in the cockpit. I was so surprised and tried to get my camera out of my purse and the batteries fell out !!!!! Down on the tarmack they went. The pilot ran down the steps and brought them up. Took Thomas and put him on the console and told me I could take his picture. I looked at him and said "Are you sure?" He let me take the picture of Thomas in the cockpit and he positioned his hat to make it look like Thomas was wearing it. Then he even let me stand IN THE COCKPIT and took my picture with Thomas. Needless to day I was so happy and just could not smiling about it and had to tell everyone about it immediately.

For me to go to the ER took A LOT of pain, especially since the first time it was Christmas night. They told me about 14 years earlier that I had small stones but that they wouldn't do anything if it wasn't causing me trouble. I had one attack a couple of years after that, but I didn't know that is what it was at the time. It was horrible! Then I had another on December 10, 2004, but I am stubborn and wasn't planning to have it checked until at least after Christmas. On Christmas, besides the pain, it took my dh begging me to go in. They released me after controlling the pain with an order to schedule an ultrasound and a prescription for Vicodin. I called the next day, and they couldn't get me in until the beginning of January. I had no problems (but I was eating VERY carefully). I had the ultrasound on a Monday. On that Friday, I started feeling bad again. I called my primary care Friday afternoon, but I never heard back. I was pretty much in and out of it from the pain all day on Saturday, and started popping the Vicodin on Sunday (I'm really stubborn about taking meds, too  ), but it didn't do much for me. On Sunday, I called into the doctor's office. The doctor on call was able to see the ultrasound results from the computer and told me to head to the ER. They again released me after controlling the pain and told me that I could take the Vicodin more often. He also talked to a surgeon who said that he would see me the following day if I called into the office. Well, I called in, and that surgeon wasn't even seeing patients that day. Fortunately my primary care office was able to get me into see a different surgeon in the same group that afternoon. I thought I was going to die at this point and was practically ready to go after my gallbladder myself. Thank goodness I hadn't eaten all day, because they were able to schedule me in for almost immediate surgery. He was able to remove it lap, though if it had been much more inflamed, it would have been open surgery. Life was much better after that! I had several very large stones. One was the size of one of the quarter gumballs. I probably haven't learned my lesson, though, because I can see myself being just as stubborn and resistant to seeing the doctor.

It seems to strike at the worst times, doesn't it? My SIL had to have hers out while she was pregnant and my MIL had to have hers taken out the Monday after our wedding (which was a Sat night).

We had a little what we call "weather" today.... :umbrella: :umbrella:

I left work late and as I pulled the handle to get into my car, the sky opened up. :umbrella: :umbrella: I left my mirror tucked in. I had opened the window last time to flip it and gotten soaked. Lesson learned. I just used my rear view. There weren't many cars on the road. I turned the corner and heard this crack!!! and part of a tree fell right on top of my car. :earseek:

I love Miss Blueberry.   She saved my life again. The limb just bounced off the top and onto the road and I rolled right over it. It happened so quick I didn't have time to react at all, didn't have a heart attack or p@@p my pants. Nothing. I just pulled over and couldn't believe I was alive....

One of my staff's daughter led the news tonight. A tree fell on her house. She had just walked in when BOOM. It is resting on her roof. Sheared off her shutters and the framing over her door. Didn't penetrate her roof though. We are both blessed.

I'm calling it a night.... :goodvibes

Has anyone watched
Conversations with Michael Eisner?
I didn't know he was an interviewer.
The show is a lot like Larry King.
