If I want to go from April 4-10 next year, at a 2BR at SSR, I should just call May 10 and book the whole thing, right? Week before spring break. Let me know if I need to do day-by-day.

Assuming your check out date is April 10, yes, you would call on May 10 to book the whole vacation. IMHO, you only need to make one call to book SSR for that time, even though it is the week before Easter.

The only time I would recommend calling day by day at 11 months for SSR is for the week between Christmas and New Year's. Even then, the only real concern is New Year's Eve night.

You should be OK calling May 10th. You could call early and get a feel for availability. I have done this in the past. The MS advisor will say something like, "there are 30 units available, so you shouldn't have a problem".
