What's everyone doing for Halloween?

My parents may come over for dinner that night. They don't get many trick-or-treaters at their house but we get a ton here. Other than that, we'll just be handing out candy.

Hi Heather...Halloween I will be handing out candy DS is 15 now, heads out with his friends, DD is away at College. That is the hard part fo r me, she and I are Halloween buddies, we usually go all out, I always make her costumes and as she got older she and I worked on them together. This is my 2nd Halloween without her ( she is in Sarasota and we are outside Chicago) and it is RELALY hard. DS is ok about Halloween, but not as into it as DD and I are. That being said, I get to see all the cute/awesome costumes that others wear and it is supposed to be C-O-L-D , so I am fine with staying home and manning the door.

Aww I wish we got trick or treaters, that would be so fun. We live too far away from everything to get any. We're going to be out trick or treating though, I hope y'all have fun!

How fun, making costumes. I'm not talented enough to do stuff like that! I agree, it's fun seeing all the different costumes and everything. I hope you're giving out good candy!

Here's some pics of Brayden in his giraffe costume and the kids going to Chuck E Cheese's for the first time last week. Brayden was a hippo, but the head of it was too big and kept falling over his eyes. I'll have some trick or treating pics up maybe next week.

That sounds like a lot of fun! I can't wait to go trick or treating, we're probably going to have a bunch of my cousins go too so it's going to be a big herd of characters from Spiderman to Tigger lol

Thanks so much! I love giraffes too. The tail was on with velcro (not sure why?) and it got lost in the washer...So now he's going to be a tail-less giraffe. Oh well!

No I'm going to be warm! I dressed up as Dorothy in 2007 and froze my butt off. I didn't dress up last year (I was pregnant) and I was much more comfortable. Are you dressing up?
