... Anyone else been to see this? We went last week and we thought it was an amazing film. I hate being cynical, but I thought a lot of its hype would have come from the tragedies surrounding the movie, but it was absolutely amazing. Heath Ledger made a fantastic joker (I was sceptical on hearing he had been cast as him, but once again I was proven oh so wrong!!) and the whole film was entertaining, beginning to end. And there were also some fabulous stunts!

Word of warning though, we thought that the 12a certificate wasn't high enough. We think it should probably have been a 15- There are moments with a lot of violence, and some fairly scary bits. There were a few kids in our cinema screening who had to be taken out (One ran away of her own accord)... I just thought I'd mention this incase anyone has younger kids who want to see the film.

I saw it just after it came out and I loved it. Just hope if they make another they can get someone as good as Heath Ledger was......

My daughter has now seen it 4 times and loves it, Cant wait to go myself:thumbsup2

my DS has been to see it twice, we havent seen it yet

.... I don't know if they'll put the Joker back in it for that reason.... They might get a huge backlash from Ledger fans....

I hope they do something more with The Scarecrow if they make another film- I love him as a villian and I think Cillian Murphy is a really good actor.....

I saw it when it first came out, it was an awesome film & do think that Heath Ledger should get an Oscar posthumously for his role

We thought that it was great but i do think that all of the Batman films (apart from batman and robin) had dark moments and anybody taking their child to see it should remember them they are not really made for little kids and you can only judge your own child on what you know about them watching previous films. My ds is 9 and really enjoyed it so much that he is going back to watch it with Grandad.

Fair Enough.... :thumbsup2 Your DS has good taste!! I just thought I'd mention it because some kids in our screening were really scared....

Oh no i agree with you it's the people who take their kids then moan that it was not suitable when they know they scare easily.
This was the first film in a long time that i come out and was happy with what i saw i would recommend it to anybody:banana:
